For more than a year, the organisation operating under the name Jayne’s Baby Bank has prompted growing scrutiny from the public, donors, and local authorities. Led by Carrie-Anne Ridsdale — also known as Jayne Price — the project presents itself at times as a charity, at others as a business, and frequently as a hybrid of the two. However, a number of statements made by its founder raise questions around consistency, accountability, and transparency.

Most recently, Ms. Ridsdale posted the following update on Facebook:

“I have 3 food good to go bags £5 each and some bread which is free at Pontypool shop this morning.”

On the surface, this appears to be a routine food resale or redistribution notice. However, it sits in stark contrast to her previously stated views regarding food banks and the ethics of charging for redistributed food. In past posts, she expressed strong views against other foodbanks that charge for food, suggesting such actions are inappropriate or exploitative. For example:

“Foodbanks don’t charge vulnerable people for food. If you are paying for food at a ‘foodbank/pantry’ they are a food business. Wake up. Stop supporting them profiting off vulnerable people and children.”

“FREE — that’s how it is meant to be given out, not £5 a bag, £2 a month subscription like the Pantri in Risca. They are a food business not paying for food stock…”

“These so-called ‘registered charities’ are charging £5 and up for food thrown out by the supermarket… Don’t support these charities — support us.”

“Selling out-of-date food is illegal.”

“Not many FREE foodbanks or people gifting food out for free anymore — everyone is capitalising on charging people for foodbanks.”

Despite these clear and critical public statements, Ms. Ridsdale has, in her own words, confirmed that food from Jayne’s Baby Bank is at times resold or redistributed for a fixed fee:

“Yep yep! This is why these other charities hate on us… These figures represent what I can actually do — how much ‘product’ I can shift — if I gave out that food, how much money would these registered charities lose.”

This sequence of posts raises valid public interest questions about:

  • How food donations are being processed, labelled, and redistributed
  • Whether vulnerable families are receiving food for free or being charged
  • How this activity aligns with previous criticisms made of others in the sector
  • Whether the language used to describe operations — e.g. “charity shop”, “foodbank”, “business” — is consistent with actual registration status

For context, Jayne’s Baby Bank is not currently listed as a registered charity with the Charity Commission. Furthermore, previous articles on this site have examined whether the use of “charity shop” branding may mislead the public in absence of verified charitable registration (source).

A Pattern of Contradiction?

Ms. Ridsdale has made numerous claims over time — including holding a nursing degree, biochemistry diploma, and even progressing towards a PhD. These statements have been scrutinised in a previous fact-check, which identified inconsistencies and confirmed that certain qualifications could not be verified with the issuing bodies cited.

The recurring issue is not simply the nature of the claims — it is their volatility. Social media posts are sometimes deleted or edited when inconsistencies are highlighted, but public interest concerns remain, particularly when activities involve public donations, food redistribution, and references to healthcare qualifications.

Transparency Matters

Jayne’s Baby Bank maintains a strong online presence and frequently posts appeals, livestreams, and statements relating to its mission and critics. While some supporters argue that any help to struggling families is a net positive, others — including regulators, donors, and local businesses — have expressed concerns about:

  • Lack of formal oversight or external auditing
  • Frequent changes in how the business is described (CIC, charity, shop, foodbank, etc.)
  • Use of “volunteers” in ways that may not comply with UK employment law

To be clear, there is no evidence of criminal wrongdoing — but the pattern of conflicting statements and shifting status warrants careful review, particularly given the vulnerable populations involved and the legal requirements around food hygiene, fundraising, and business operations.

Conclusion

The key concern is not whether Jayne’s Baby Bank has done some good — many supporters clearly believe it has — but whether it is operating with the transparency and consistency expected of any organisation asking for donations, redistributing food, or publicly calling itself a “charity.”

Contradictions in messaging — such as criticising others for charging for food, then doing the same — may erode public trust. As scrutiny grows, so too does the importance of accurate, consistent public communications and demonstrable legal compliance.

        1. And the latest post with the video is old film of the first hoarders nest she had in risca shame people are drawn in by her, her other shop stinks when you walk passed it and I know Caerphilly and pontypool are the same. All her shops are a hazard I would not step one foot through the door and would not take a child in any of them .

  1. The repeated calls to “wake up landlords” whenever a retailer closes often misrepresent the broader challenges affecting the high street.

    For example, the claim that “Coka a Cola can’t afford to keep Costa Coffee going” overlooks the actual causes. Coca-Cola’s reported difficulties with Costa have far more to do with inflation, increased supply chain costs, shifting consumer habits, and corporate strategy — not rent. A company that paid £3.9bn for a brand and is now reportedly considering selling it for £2bn reflects a business model under strain, not excessive landlord demands.

    The same applies to recent closures such as Poundland in Pontypool. Comments like “Sad news 😢 pound shop in Pontypool closing on the 7/9 WAKE UP LANDLORDS” do not account for the company’s well-documented restructuring, reduced turnover, and management shifts.

    Despite this, Carrie-Anne has frequently attributed high street closures to landlords. Past statements include:
    > “Blackwood is about to go BANG ⚠️☢️⛔️ You can thank people like Brinsons with their ridiculous rents and greedy landlords and council rates.”

    While discussions around affordability are valid, assigning blame to landlords alone oversimplifies complex retail dynamics. The pattern of such statements may suggest an attempt to publicly pressure landlords to lower rents — particularly when considered alongside social media posts criticising rent levels, “window tax,” and repeated references to commercial agents by name.

  2. It’s increasingly clear that engagement on the Jayne’s Baby Bank Facebook page has dropped significantly. While the removal of our own media tools may be one factor, this also appears to reflect waning public interest and credibility.

    Despite claiming over 71,000 followers, many recent posts have received little to no interaction — a noticeable contrast to earlier activity.

    Attempts to revive attention through giveaways or personal disclosures have not reversed the trend. In comparison, organisations such as HCT continue to post content showing consistent community involvement — from family events to uniformed volunteers delivering support.

    1. Watched her rumaging through bag of makeup lipsticks that had been used but obviously she thought it was ok to put them into her. Beauty bags. Surely this is cross contamination , I have been to all her shops just out of curiosity and my goodness how is she getting away with it with health and safety is beyond me .The smell is enough clothes just chucked in piles and the shoes I would not give to a tramp in the street I was mortified at what I was seeing .This woman needs help psychologically and mentally.

  3. I’ve been following this page for a while, in fact I check everyday for anything new. I have just seen her most recent post referring to herself as a ‘spaz’ 😳 I can’t say I’m shocked, she should be ashamed of herself, but I don’t think she’s capable or sees any wrongdoing in what she’s said!

    1. Why is she publicly discussing access to her son’s phone?

      It raises serious questions about boundaries and intent — especially when shared online.

      —Sherlock

    2. I have just literally done a screenshot of that post along with the photo. She’s all ” we are protecting the vulnerable and don’t condone any bullying or harassing behaviour with our vulnerable volunteers ” etc.. yet she’s posting awful stuff like that!

    1. How lovely to see Hayley HCT featured on Wales on The One Show. She seems to be a very popular and well respected part of her communitu. Well done Hayley

    2. Daniel is posting on local sites to Pontypool under Daniel James so maybe add this name to the Court list. I say Daniel posted it but in all probability Ms Ridsdale posted it under his name whilst scrolling through her sons phone! It has all her hallmark sayings all over it.

    “Jayne’s Baby Bank” advertise that they can undertake house and business clearances and claim to be “insured.” But legally, offering such services requires more than a Facebook post.

    Anyone charging for clearances must hold valid public liability insurance and, depending on the materials being removed, a **waste carrier licence**. Without these, **the customer may be held liable** for any resulting issues — including personal injury or fly-tipping.

    In their own words, they state:

    > “We do not remove waste or rubbish. We do not clean properties.”

    However, even if items are reused or resold, any part of a clearance that involves transporting **unsellable, damaged, or discarded** goods may **still legally require a licence**, particularly when dealing with sheds, garages, gardens, or vehicles.

    Given the evolving claims over time — charity, vintage shop, non-profit — basic transparency is overdue. If the organisation is indeed properly **insured and licensed**, there should be **no issue in publicly verifying it**.

    **Before using any clearance service:**
    – ✅ Ask for written proof of insurance — check the policyholder’s name and coverage dates.
    – ✅ Request itemised quotes and receipts — detailing what’s included/excluded.
    – ✅ Clarify where your items go — reused, resold, or disposed of?

    Don’t rely on vague assurances. Any compliant and trustworthy operation should be able to prove its legitimacy.

    1. Correct me if I am wrong. I thought PIP was based on how your condition affects you. Not the condition. She works a 20 hour day. She can walk. As clearly seen on her self made videos. She can lift, she can carry. She can clearly eat unaided. She can write and count. She drives at night and during the day. Doesn’t need help to dress or toilet. Does not seem to have any problems in social situations. An unpleasant personality doesn’t score any points. Can navigate and get to unfamiliar places. Doesn’t require help at night. So can someone please explain how she qualifies?

    BEGIN QUOTE:::
    You need to stay and do a shift
    :::END QUOTE

    ANALYSIS:

    This quote raises questions about the nature of participation at Jayne’s Baby Bank.

    Volunteering, by legal and ethical definition, must be freely given, without coercion or obligation. The directive tone — “You need to stay and do a shift” — appears to contradict the voluntary nature of such roles.

    If individuals are being told they must remain and work, this suggests an expectation or demand, rather than optional engagement. This distinction is crucial, particularly where safeguarding, labour rights, or public representation of operations is concerned.

    This statement may indicate a potential misrepresentation of the organisation’s use of labour — and warrants further scrutiny into how “volunteers” are actually being treated or classified.

    1. I’m howling with laughter at her latest post 😂. Does she really expect people to believe that the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) department would send a message like that to a claimant saying they are authorising her payment for further three years! She is absolutely barking mad!

      1. Well if Ms Ridsdale is the highly qualified medical genius she claims to be then surely she would know how to spell palliative!

      2. She’s a absolute joke how is she even claiming pip with all of her illnesses she should be on her death bed omg she is a fraud.She can obviously follow a journey, deal with her finances fill her face walk without a stick or any aids can cope with people, not sure about personal hygiene looks like she needs a good wash the state of her nails disgusting she is .

  7. TODAY’S FOOTAGE: Social Media Behaviour and Court References

    SOURCE: https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=3311567139007377

    This livestream is worth watching for those examining the conduct surrounding Jayne’s Baby Bank and Carrie-Anne Ridsdale (also known as Jayne Price). It provides clear insight into how social media is being used to publicly accuse others, while redirecting scrutiny away from the speaker herself.

    In the video, Carrie-Anne makes multiple serious allegations about other individuals and organisations — some involving claims of sexual assault, misconduct, and misuse of charitable funds. These are not supported with any evidence in the video.

    Given the nature of these public allegations, and considering Carrie-Anne is reportedly due in court soon, such broadcasts raise significant questions about the credibility, motivations, and possible risks of defamation.

    The following quotes were extracted directly from the livestream:

    QUOTE:

    BEGIN QUOTE:::
    “One of which… under investigation by the Charity Commission because their son has sexually assaulted members of their staff.”
    “She was sexually assaulted because that particular charity has taken on people who are on probation… a sex offender.”
    “You’re stuck with a sex offender in your shop when you’ve got customers in there, maybe children and other vulnerable staff.”
    “Two of which we’ve shut down, and two of which are under investigation by the Charity Commission because of their behaviour.”
    “You’ve got the other one that’s supposed to be helping homeless people. When was the last time they helped homeless people?”
    “Plastic surgery and trips to Turkey, you know, and 70-year-old women that work for the charity, you know, having their teeth done.”
    “We’ve never been arrested at all for anything to do with the baby bank ever because we’re not doing anything illegal.”
    :::END QUOTE

    These claims are serious in nature and, if unsupported by verified evidence or official documentation, may expose the speaker to legal consequences. It is important to note that stating “we’ve never been arrested” does not equate to proof of legitimacy — especially if regulatory, trading standards, or civil matters are still under investigation or pending in court.

    As for court appearances — if there is truly “nothing to hide” — it would be reasonable and transparent to publicly disclose the date and location.

    ADDITIONAL QUOTE:

    BEGIN QUOTE:::
    The police are taking up a case.
    And yeah, they rang me to say, are you ready to go to court now?
    Because we’re ready to take it to court.
    And at the very last stage where the individual was refusing to move and was on the So, you know, this is so… we’re very pleased with the result that we’ve got, that we’re actually going to go to court with it.
    And if she wants to go to court and she’s going to stand up in court, I don’t know where it will be because they’ve been moved out of the area.
    So, I don’t know.
    But they’re like, if she’s willing to go to court, which I am, to protect the baby bank and to protect the mothers that are being told not to use our services.
    :::END QUOTE

    This statement appears contradictory. The speaker claims both to be “ready to go to court” and simultaneously unsure about where or when the case is happening — despite allegedly being in direct contact with police. This inconsistency raises doubts about the accuracy of the narrative being presented.

    Given the heightened public interest, many may begin monitoring Carrie-Anne Ridsdale’s name via public listings, such as https://www.courtserve.net/ .

    As always, more may yet come to light.

  8. TODAY’S COMMENT: Use of Baby Bank Funds

    QUOTE:

    BEGIN QUOTE:::
    But I think I’m going to have to invest a little bit more of the baby bank money into a more expensive van so that we haven’t got it breaking down and things like that.
    Otherwise I’m going to end up with a fixer up and it’s going to cost money to fix it up and time.
    And the thing is we haven’t got enough hours in the day to process everything at the moment but we’re more quality rather than quantity of volunteers at the moment as well.
    So it’s about we’ve done it for five years, we’ve cracked on, we’ve literally just been out there winging it.
    Now is the time to knuckle down and do the work for the next 15 to 20 years.
    :::END QUOTE

    ANALYSIS:

    This statement raises concerns over the financial handling and governance of funds described as belonging to the “baby bank”.

    The quote suggests an intention to personally invest baby bank money into a more expensive van, allegedly to improve operations. However, without proper oversight, clear accounting, or separation between personal and organisational use, this type of financial decision can raise questions of transparency, accountability, and compliance — particularly if the entity is claiming charitable status or operating as a public-facing service.

    Also notable is the admission of “winging it” over a five-year period. This appears to conflict with any claims of structured or professional service delivery.

    If there is no registered charity, no public accounts, and no formal oversight, then what safeguards are in place to ensure donated funds are being appropriately managed?

    A long-term vision of “the next 15 to 20 years” may be aspirational — but without a clear legal framework, public trust will depend on evidence, not promises.

  9. Pot kettle black, so this piece of work has slated food banks
    For charging a minimal fee, and she literally destroyed them with her libelous slander, this waste of chromosomes needs to immediately spontaneously combust from her own gaseous expulsions!

    The word has spread far and wide thanks to the good work of sherlock and his team.

    If you are going to CON the valleys and towns in Wales, then slander good people expect the back lash to be epic.

    Everyone knows someone, and she’s a sitting duck silly silly woman, munching on her ego, zero manners, absolutely no decorum, illiterate, rude, unprofessional, and quite frankly down right dangerous.

    Her continual Slander of anyone who challenges her as a pedophile makes me wonder if she herself is dangerous to children, the dynamic of the relationship between her and her son is dubious, and he clearly is the product of her abuse of him! Poor kid imagine having that as a mother!

    Shame on her, she is the epitome of all that dark in this world. she does not have a moral compass, or any accountability. I hope she goes to prison for a very long time!

  10. BEGIN QUOTE:::
    But, number one, I want everybody to see the next part.
    Where we’re going from here.
    Everyone.
    And it doesn’t matter whether you have a bad comment, a negative comment or an awful comment, because I’m getting paid for it.
    Facebook pays me to put up with these people.
    So by unblocking them, we should triple how much we’re going to get paid for all their comments on Facebook.
    :::END QUOTE

    ANALYSIS:

    The downward spiral continues.

    Carrie-Anne now claims she will unblock hundreds of previously banned accounts — including former volunteers, her childhood friend (who confirmed her legal name as Carrie-Anne Ridsdale), and individuals she’s publicly referred to as “rivals” — for the express purpose of increasing Facebook revenue.

    This decision appears to be financially motivated:

    “Facebook pays me to put up with these people… we should triple how much we’re going to get paid.”

    It’s worth noting this shift comes shortly after the suspension of our analytics tools and a visible drop in her social media engagement. The once-touted “million view” videos no longer appear to be reaching the same scale. This new strategy may represent a final attempt to revive traffic through provocation, aiming to convert controversy into monetised engagement.

    The approach reflects a clear pattern: notoriety over credibility, conflict over community.

    What undermines the logic, however, is that she continues to restrict comments on most of her posts, limiting the very interaction she now claims to profit from. This contradiction raises doubts about the authenticity of her strategy — or the accuracy of her claims regarding Facebook monetisation.

    In another life, with that same relentless energy and apparent drive, success might have been found through legitimate means. Instead, this path has been defined by exploitation, division, and performative outrage.

    – Sherlock

    1. What on earth is she rambling about. Why does she insist on making videos while she eats!! The plans for a furniture shop and more schemes. She is seriously delusional. Her rave gear wouldn’t look out of place at a swingers party. Has she been to a rave??

      1. RECOMMENDATION: Minimise Ad Revenue While Monitoring

        SOURCE: https://brave.com/

        Want our advice? If you’re monitoring public content, such as livestreams or videos related to this investigation, consider using a browser that actively blocks advertising revenue.

        We recommend Brave — a privacy-focused browser with built-in ad-blocking functionality. It prevents platforms like Facebook from monetising your views, ensuring that no revenue is generated from your activity — even passively.

        This is particularly useful when monitoring individuals who use social media platforms for visibility or self-promotion. At the very least, it ensures they do not financially benefit from your viewership.

    BEGIN QUOTE:::
    The Charity Commission and the CIC Governing bodies have decided the investigate the bullying we have received over the last 12 months plus by the two registered charities and the CIC charity. As charities they have a professional code of conduct to adhere to which they have all seem to have forgotten.
    :::END QUOTE

    ANALYSIS:

    Carrie-Anne Ridsdale (also known as Jayne Price) now claims that the Charity Commission and CIC regulatory bodies are investigating allegations of bullying by two registered charities and a CIC.

    Several issues arise from this statement:

    No supporting documentation or public record of such an investigation has been produced.

    The phrase “CIC charity” is inaccurate; Community Interest Companies (CICs) are not legally charities unless separately registered as such.

    The statement lacks specifics — no named organisations, dates, or case references are provided — consistent with a broader pattern of vague public claims lacking verifiable evidence.

    CONTRASTING EVIDENCE:

    In stark contrast, one of the alleged organisations, HCT (Hope Church Trust), is publicly documented as having received formal recognition and funding:

    REFERENCE:

    SOURCE: https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=945691567566423&id=100063767663382

    “Thanks to a National Lottery Community Fund grant of £52,400, Blackwood-based HCT’s work for the next two years is secured.”

    This funding from the National Lottery Community Fund is a strong indicator of credibility, structure, and compliance — none of which have been substantiated in the case of Jayne’s Baby Bank.

    RELATED CONTENT: Deleted Video

    Carrie-Anne has previously shared content that undermines her public claims of being the target of unprovoked “bullying.”

    One now-deleted clip features a targeted verbal rant, referring to a woman as “the prettiest, loveliest girl” in a sarcastic and disparaging tone.

    🎥 VIDEO: https://jaynesbabybank.co.uk/search/FB_Videos/DELETED_prettiest_loveliest_girl.mp4

    This is one of several examples where provocative and potentially defamatory content was posted, then later removed — a pattern also observed in other public communications from the account.

    CONCLUSION:

    Taken as a whole, the available evidence appears to contradict Carrie-Anne’s claim of being solely on the receiving end of harassment.

    This raises a critical question:
    If repeated public accusations are being made without evidence — and accompanied by personal attacks — then who, in truth, is engaging in bullying behaviour?

    The timeline, tone, and deletion of content suggest a strategic use of victimhood for deflection and narrative control.

    A full regulatory review may be warranted — not just of the charities named, but of the source and conduct of the allegations themselves.

    “We decided to establish our organisation due to the lack of support for families and key workers during the global pandemic. Before this, we ran a small rescue CIC* (fundraising from 2017-2020 for pet food, hutches, etc.), but we couldn’t bear to part with any of the rescues, so we kept them all! 🤣🐾

    The so-called CIC is known as ‘The Forever Home Rescue and Sanctuary,’ originally titled ‘The Last Stop Rescue,’ and can be viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/laststoprescue/

    By searching https://findthatcharity.uk/orgid/type/community-interest-company, you’ll see there is no CIC registered under either of the names associated with the rescues.

  14. SEARCH ENGINE (Keyword: Charity): https://jaynesbabybank.co.uk/search/?search=charity&limit=250&sort_order=oldest&search_type=all

    If someone operates a charity shop, even using the phrase “charity shop” in their business or trademark name, and is not a registered charity, possessing a legitimate statement of non-objection from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) does not validate charitable status. Sensitive words such as “charity”, “charitable”, or “charities” imply a connection to regulated charitable bodies, and using them without genuine charity registration remains misleading. Even with an FCA non-objection letter, Companies House and regulatory authorities can still challenge the usage under policies governing sensitive business and company names. The statement may suggest legitimacy, but without actual charity registration, the risk of misrepresentation—and resulting enforcement—remains.

    Claiming to operate under a statement of non-objection from the FCA might bolster perceived legitimacy—but it does not exempt the operator from legal and regulatory accountability. The Fraud Act 2006 could apply, as the public might be misled into believing the entity holds charitable status, potentially resulting in undue benefits like donations, tax facilitation, or enhanced consumer trust. Authorities including the FCA, Companies House, and the Charity Commission can intervene—requiring branding changes, sanctioning the entity, or even refusing registration. Additionally, civil actions such as passing off could be brought if the use of “charity” in the name trades off the goodwill of legitimate charities. In short, a statement of non-objection does not override the requirement to accurately represent charitable status.

    Moreover, consider the following statement made during a livestream:

    “Because you are telling people that we are not regulated. We are regulated. Our name has been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, Jayne’s Baby Bank and charity shops. Plus they’ve authorised other names that we use. We’re the only charity in Great Britain that’s been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to use the word charity in our title. That’s a first.”

    If taken at face value, this assertion is highly problematic. In reality, Jayne’s Baby Bank is not a registered charity, despite the claim. As documented and analyzed, this makes the statement misleading at best and fraudulent at worst. Furthermore, the FCA does not authorise the use of words like “charity”—their role is limited to providing views on sensitive words primarily related to financial services, such as “bank,” “insurer,” or “fund”. There is no public record showing the FCA has authorised Jayne’s Baby Bank (or any other entity) to use “charity” in its title. This strongly supports the conclusion that the claim is deceptive and potentially criminal.

Families and keyworkers were neglected during the Pandemic and we set out to help them with food, clothes, toys and household items. We have achieved this and have continued to help thousands of families in the UK, Africa and the Ukraine. When I started this I wanted to do it anonymously off my driveway and had no idea that all our customers, donators and volunteers would become friends and in no way did I ever imagine we would have 6 shops, 5 high street and 1 donation centre. This raises a question: was the original aim to remain anonymous, to “take down” perceived rivals, or simply to support mothers?

      1. The Charity Commission only investigates **registered** charities. Anything outside that status falls beyond their remit.

        It is entirely possible for someone to claim to be a charity without being registered — and in those cases, the Commission has **no authority** to step in.

        I know this because they told me directly.

    Well, I won’t be flexible if people are just sat around drinking and pop all day long and not doing any work.
    :::END QUOTE

    In this latest clip, Carrie-Anne tells volunteers their “allowance” doesn’t roll over, insists she “doesn’t owe you nothing,” and calls it a “gesture of goodwill” — while also saying it’s set out in official paperwork and rules online. If it’s genuinely voluntary, payments should be limited to reimbursing actual expenses, otherwise they risk being seen as wages. Once allowances are tied to hours or productivity, that can legally move someone from “volunteer” to “worker” status, which brings employment rights, tax implications, and potential reporting obligations to HMRC. That blurred line is exactly where problems — and even benefit sanctions — can arise if the DWP treats the allowance as income.

    Her added comment about being “flexible if somebody’s a worker” but not if they’re “just sat around drinking pop” also suggests an expectation of measurable labour in return for money. That’s not how volunteering is supposed to work, and it’s a red flag for anyone on Universal Credit, ESA, or other benefits, where undeclared income can cause overpayment demands or loss of entitlement. Anyone considering volunteering in these conditions should get the full terms in writing, keep their own records of any payments or reimbursements, and check with the DWP before accepting — because if the arrangement isn’t clear, it’s the volunteer who will be left carrying the risk.

    Could your tumour simply be a fibroid (leiomyoma?).

    “Last year after my procedure to block the arteries of the tumor growing I lost 4 and half stone…”
    “Now, obviously, I have a tumor in the back wall of my womb, which doesn’t help the situation or the placement.”

    Uterine Artery Embolisation (UAE) is a minimally invasive treatment used to manage fibroids — non-cancerous growths that are actually quite common, especially in women of reproductive age. The procedure works by blocking the blood supply to the fibroids, which helps them shrink over time. This can really help with symptoms like heavy periods, bloating, or pressure in the lower tummy. UAE is a good option for those looking to avoid surgery and keep their uterus intact.

      Taken from NHS.uk

      Also not all polyps are cancerous.

        The videos of the shops are awful. How can anyone find anything to purchase. It is like an episode of hoarders buried alive! How is this safe? Where are the customers. What happened to the Nappy shopping or the food bank. The craft clubs. The cafe. The childrens play area. The lego club. All the schemes and ventures that come to nothing. When will the next mural be commissioned? What happened to the donation centre and the expensive wracking? A real business would not survive playing shop! The whole thing is bizarre. I would love to see the accounts. This sharing of her health and hospital visits is something she needs to keep private.

      Carrie-Anne Ridsdale, posting as Jayne Price, has made another misleading claim regarding the nature of complaints lodged against her.

      In this instance, she omits a key detail: one of the formal complaints involved allegations of hoarding, which led directly to the landlord submitting an official complaint about the state of the property.

      By selectively framing these complaints as unjust or malicious, she sidesteps addressing the documented concerns raised about health, safety, and obstruction.

      This appears to be part of an ongoing narrative strategy — reframing justified scrutiny as “harassment” while withholding material facts from her audience.

      1. I have lived in Pontypool all my life and I can’t believe the state of her so called shops. Honestly think she has a hoarding issue how on earth the shops pass health and safety, if those piles were to fall on a little one does not bear thinking about. Last week she totally blocked the pavement sorting the rubbish out and the picture of the 3 cars parked on the pavement again blocking the pavements, TCBC should be responding to this. Why she feels the need to eat whilst during her lives is beyond me, why she thinks anyone wants to listen to her chomp is mind boggling. My biggest issue is for someone who supposedly supports the vulnerable yet feels the need to label everyone weirdos. Has she stopped to think that maybe these people have hidden disabilities and there is a reason they don’t fit her ideal of normal. Personally I think she is the weirdo!

        1. Carrie-Anne has repeatedly referred to a man using the nickname “flat head”, attributing this to his mother allegedly “leaving him in his cot for too long”.

          These remarks are not only deeply personal and derogatory but are particularly concerning when made by someone who has publicly claimed to be a nurse. The statement appears to trivialise childhood developmental conditions while using them as a form of mockery — behaviour that raises serious questions about professional conduct, empathy, and credibility.

          As for the condition of the shop frontage — yes, we did witness the obstruction. It has been both documented and reported. On multiple occasions, the clutter outside the premises made it impossible for prams or mobility scooters to pass safely without entering the road — posing an evident public safety risk.

          This is not simply about mess. It’s about accessibility, community impact, and basic responsibility when occupying a public-facing premises.
