SCHEDULE A —- LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

Regulation (EC) No.852/2004, Annex Il, Chapter IX, Paragraph 3 & 4.

Bags of donations were kept on the floor in front of the food items. Access to the food items must be kept clear. A large quantity of stock was present within the premises upon the ground which provided areas which would harbour pests as nwell as inhibiting cleaning practices. Stock must be kept in a condition which does not pose the risk of an incident or harborage for pests.

During the visit a customer was observed to enter the premises and a small fragment of metal penetrated the sole of her shoe. It is noted that the accident book was completed and the metal shard retained and attached to the record. However, it is essential that the floor area is cleaned, and hoovered daily and is visually checked prior to opening to ensure it is free of hazards.

  1. I also love how in her latest rant she focuses on the toilet.

It’s the fact that food is on the same level as the floor… the walkways are cluttered with stock, a customer injured herself because the floor hadn’t been hoovered, the bins were uncovered and the fact that stock wasn’t stored correctly.

Her latest video shows a red plastic box filled with stock balancing on some child’s toys… imagine if that fell on a child. She’s got no clue how to run a business, she doesn’t even have a complaints procedure..it’s shocking she is still open if im honest. The shops are an accident waiting to happen.
It’s the volunteers I feel sorry for.. roped into all her schemes!

    1. Welcome, JJ,

First off, thank you for bringing the video to our attention. After watching it, we agree that the focus on the toilet seems rather unusual, especially since we shared the reports without any commentary. Any statements made by the CCBC reflect their own account of the inspection. We deliberately chose to remain neutral by not adding our own input.

While the findings aren’t ideal, the issues appear to be fixable with time. However, it’s odd that the video fixates on an aspect we never highlighted. We had expected more focus on her exemption from the food rating due to limited stock and packaging. We’ve updated the article image to reflect the video.

Thanks again for flagging this. We’ve also added the video to the post.

  2. I see nothing has changed much from this report. The shops are filthy and stock is littered everywhere which is evidently clear in all her videos
