The short version

Two names
Jayne’s Mother and Baby Bank, Food Bank and Charity Shops is run day to day by a woman known publicly as “Jayne Price”. To most people the name means nothing. To people who knew “Jayne” growing up, it does. Former schoolmates, friends and colleagues from her time at B&Q remember her as Carrie-Anne Ridsdale, a name she now publicly denies (her old posts, and the B&Q evidence).
This report looks at what the paperwork for one of her shops says.
The auction pack
Her Pontypool shop traded from 5 Crane Street, on the town’s high street (NP4 6LY). In early 2024 the building and its neighbours were put up for auction with Savills. The auction’s legal pack, including the tenancy documents for the shop occupied by “Jayne’s Baby Bank Pontypool”, was open to anyone who registered on the auction site.
Introducing: the tenant
One file in the pack is called “5 Crane Street Lease 2023 Unsigned.pdf”. Its front page names the parties.
The tenant is Miss Jayne-Anne Carrie-Anne Ridsdale. That matters, because it does not fit her public persona as “Jayne Price”. No form of “Price” appears in the tenancy papers or on the electoral roll. “Carrie-Anne Ridsdale” and “Jayne-Anne” both do.
It matters too because of what she has shown before. On social media and in live streams she displayed a driving licence showing the names “Jayne-Anne” and “Price”, with the rest covered over. The public documents do not back up “Price”.
The signature
A second file in the pack, “5 crane.pdf”, is a signed copy. She signed it for the tenant, in her legal surname.
Everything in this report comes from publicly available sources. No private records or unauthorised data were used.
What happened next
We said in July 2024 that more would follow. It did:
- The Commercial Street lease, for her second Pontypool shop, names the tenant as “CARRIE-ANNE RIDSDALE” (“Not Even My Name”).
- A court judgment registered in January 2026 is in the name Carrie-Anne Ridsdale (our report).
- Every name on her leases and judgments, from Ceri-Ann to Jayne-Anne Carrie-Anne, is set out in our report on the Aberbargoed lease.
- 5 Crane Street was taken back by its owner on 15 August 2026 (the end of the road).
People may lawfully use more than one name. The point is which names were used to sign leases and take on debts, and which one she gives the public.
