Residents have raised ongoing concerns regarding repeated fly-tipping outside a charity shop in Newbridge. Evidence gathered over recent weeks, including images and video footage sourced from the “Jayne’s Baby Bank Exposed” group, shows waste being deposited outside the premises during periods when the shop is closed.

The material observed includes multiple black refuse sacks, donation bags, and bulky household items such as duvets and mixed goods. The volume and consistency of the dumping indicate a repeated pattern rather than isolated incidents. This has resulted in obstruction of the shop frontage and has required regular clearance.

The individual responsible has been identified by those familiar with him as Daniel Ridsdale. Identification is based on clear visual recognition, alongside the consistent use of a silver Honda vehicle, registration WF11 TZH, seen at the location during the relevant times. The activity is reported to take place during late evening hours when the premises are not operating.

The dumping of waste outside a closed premises does not constitute legitimate donation. Items left in this manner are exposed to weather, contamination, and damage, rendering them unsuitable for reuse. This results in additional disposal costs for the organisation and removes any potential benefit the donated items may have had.

The images provided show the scale and nature of the issue:

  • Large quantities of bagged waste stored internally and externally
  • Mixed and unsorted items, including broken packaging and general refuse
  • Bulky items such as bedding left outside the shop entrance

These conditions present clear health and safety concerns, including blocked access, trip hazards, and hygiene risks. For a charity-operated premises, repeated incidents of this nature place unnecessary financial and operational strain on limited resources.

Fly-tipping is a criminal offence under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Local authorities are empowered to investigate, issue fixed penalty notices, and pursue prosecution where sufficient evidence is available. The identification of both the individual and associated vehicle provides a clear evidential basis for further action.

Given the repeated nature of the incidents and the supporting visual evidence, this matter meets the threshold for formal investigation and enforcement. Further steps would typically involve referral to the local authority environmental enforcement team and, where applicable, police involvement.

Additional Note:
Separate from the above, Carrie-Anne Ridsdale has also been observed engaging in fly-tipping during an angry and abusive livestream on her private Instagram account, “TheAlchemistMagician” (Video 1 and Video 2). This is recorded as part of a wider pattern of behaviour relevant to the ongoing concerns.
