In a recently disclosed email received on 4th September 2025, it has been confirmed that Jayne’s Baby Bank is not currently a member of the Baby Bank Alliance — the national support network for independently run baby banks in the UK.

The confirmation came in response to a direct enquiry and reads:

Hi,
This baby bank is not a member of the Baby Bank Alliance. All our members are shown on our map 🙂
Thanks

Public Claims of Registration

This correspondence is particularly relevant in light of a recurring public claim made by Carrie-Anne Ridsdale (also known as Jayne Price), the figure behind Jayne’s Baby Bank. As transcribed from a livestream:

“We are also a registered baby bank under three councils with three different councils.”

However, Freedom of Information disclosures from multiple local authorities — including Caerphilly Council — have confirmed there is no record of licensing, registration, or approval connected to the Blackwood premises once operated by Jayne’s Baby Bank, nor to their newer location.

Caerphilly Council FOI Response

Caerphilly Council additionally operates Caerphilly Cares — a formal support network that partners with verified community food banks and outreach providers. In prior correspondence, they have confirmed that Jayne’s Baby Bank is not a partner, nor supported under their framework.

Voluntary vs. Regulatory Registration

It’s important to understand that there is no mandatory central register for the term “baby bank” in the UK. However, reputable operators frequently join sector-wide alliances such as:

These platforms promote standards in safeguarding, donation handling, and referral-based distribution to ensure equity of access and accountability. Membership is voluntary — but public statements that imply formal registration or endorsement should be verifiable.

Conclusion: What Can Be Verified?

In summary:

  • Jayne’s Baby Bank is not listed as a member of the Baby Bank Alliance.
  • Claims of registration with “three different councils” are unverified and not supported by current FOI disclosures.
  • Caerphilly Council has publicly confirmed that it does not support or partner with Jayne’s Baby Bank under its Caerphilly Cares scheme.

Caerphilly Council FOI Follow-Up

These findings do not necessarily imply illegality, but they do reinforce the need for clear, evidence-based public communication — particularly when vulnerable families and charitable donations are involved. As always, our aim is not to speculate but to report what can be substantiated.

  1. The only reason why she says that hayley is “stalking” her via Facebook is solely because its the other way round, Carrie is or has been searching for hayley more than likely via another account that she uses and this is why hackers profile keeps popping up. It’s literally because carrie has put her name in the search bar and now she will keep getting friend suggestions, and obviously there’s most likely mutual friends too.
There’s absolutely no way that anyone who works for any council will leak any information to her before anyone else. Woman is full of it.

      1. Well done! On her latest post she says she has a Facebook tracker app and poor Hayley Thomas is being slated again. Facebook does not have a profile tracker app.
Facebook profile or Facebook Page. Facebook does not provide this feature for privacy and security reasons, and any apps or services that claim to offer this functionality are scams and should be reported. You can, however, see who has viewed your personal Facebook stories by tapping on the “Viewers” option at the bottom of your story.
Why you can’t see who viewed your profile:
        Privacy:
Facebook prioritizes user privacy and does not want users to be able to track who has merely looked at their profile, as this could lead to stalking or harassment.
        Security:
Apps or services that claim to offer this feature are often scams designed to collect false data or compromise your password and account security.
        What you can see:
        Story Viewers:
You can see who has viewed your personal Facebook stories by tapping on your story and then selecting the “Viewers” option.
        Post Engagement:
You can see the number of likes, comments, and shares on your posts, and who specifically engaged with your content.
What to do if you encounter such an app:
        Report the app:
If you come across a third-party app that claims to offer profile view tracking, you should report it to Facebook.
Do not provide your login information:
Never give your Facebook login details to these apps, as they are not legitimate and will not provide the service they promise.
But then again Ms Ridsdale says its real so it must be!!

        1. The claim being made about “stalking” through Facebook is technically unfounded.

Facebook suggests connections based on factors like mutual friends, shared groups, and interactions—not based on who is viewing someone’s profile. The screenshot being circulated appears to be taken from an active user session, not from any form of third-party tracking software.

If it were a genuine “tracking app” as claimed, then—by that same logic—the person shown on the opposite side of the screenshot would also be “stalking,” which clearly isn’t the case.

There is no evidence of any tracker functionality being used, nor is there a dedicated page or software interface shown to support that assertion. The explanation appears to be based on a misunderstanding of how Facebook works.

It is important to separate fact from fiction, especially when making serious public allegations. We rely on verified processes, not assumptions.

  2. Her latest video suggests torfaen council leak information to her before it gets released to anyone else. Surely torfaen council should investigate her claims because she is suggesting that they are breaking confidentiality and privacy laws.

    1. This appears to be a discouragement tactic aimed at deterring further Freedom of Information requests.

FOI is a lawful and public mechanism designed to promote transparency — especially where claims of charitable status or public benefit are made.

    2. My thoughts exactly. I can’t see Torfaen breaching this. I think she is clearly worried as her plans for world domination is crumbling!
