Analyzing the CCBC Subject Access Request: Uncovering the True Identity and more

Over the past several years, growing public pressure—both from local residents and our investigative team—has mounted concerning the operational status and identity of the proprietor of Jayne’s Baby Bank. In a recent live stream (backup), “Jayne” disclosed the contents of a subject access request submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council. This disclosure included several notable revelations which merit scrutiny. It appears that “Jayne” may not have fully understood the implications of what she was revealing publicly and, in an apparent act of deflection, began to target individuals she perceives as threats to her operations. Below, we analyse the screenshots, text excerpts, and their wider significance.

Premise: At 00:20 in the video, “Jayne” states she has requested all complaints made against her by the Helping Caring Team (HCT) Wales. She presents internal correspondence from Caerphilly Council, though no names beyond JBB and CCBC are disclosed. She also claims Trading Standards are “supporting” her and recounts a voluntary interview with them. During this interview, she alleges that a Trading Standards officer identified someone from HCT Wales as the source of complaints. However, such a disclosure by Trading Standards would constitute a serious breach of confidentiality and is highly implausible.

Internal Correspondence:

Internal correspondence document

In the above, “Jayne” shares the first document from her subject access request, stating that our website has caused her distress, even resulting in suicidal ideation—something she claims is known to her GP. While we acknowledge the seriousness of mental health issues and express sympathy for anyone affected, it is important to clarify that our efforts are focused solely on exposing fraudulent practices that affect vulnerable families in South Wales. She also inaccurately claims that the document was sourced from our website. In reality, it was generated internally within Caerphilly Council. This is evident from the email headers, which show council staff contacting one another to verify referral statuses. The full disclosure reportedly spans 398 pages (mentioned at 04:29 in the video).

Multiple Identities:

At 05:31, a document shown on-screen during the video references both “Jayne Price” and “Carianne Risdale”, suggesting use of multiple identities in official and commercial dealings. This inconsistency raises significant questions.

Charity Registration Contradictions:

Although “Jayne” repeatedly claims she is not a charity, there is ample evidence—including her own social media posts—where she states she is the director of one of “Wales’ largest children’s charities”. At 05:40 in the video, she refers to a complaint made to the Charity Commission, suggesting confusion or deliberate misrepresentation. Council communications show her charity applications were rejected twice.

False Attribution of Content:

At 06:00, “Jayne” shows an image of a Facebook post relating to parking and claims it came from our website. This is false. The image originated from her own public profile, as confirmed here.

Email Disclosure:

Emails shown at 06:25–06:30 were sent by “Jayne Price” to CCBC, in which she makes serious allegations against HCT Wales and lists various personal diagnoses. The inconsistency between her stated income on failed charity applications (£3,000 and £500, respectively) and claims of paying rent herself undermines the credibility of these statements. Her “Government Gateway ID” and company registration name is revealed to be “JBB Enterprises C.I.C.”

Alias Discrepancies:

An internal document seen at 06:49 confirms that “Jayne’s Mother and Baby Bank” is associated with Ms Carrie-Ann Ridsdale. Public records—including a birth certificate—confirm that this is her legal name. Rental agreements and community reports further reinforce the link between her and the alias “Jayne Price”.

Ongoing Harassment Concerns:

At 07:50, internal CCBC communications from the Food and Network Support Team highlight that multiple community groups have been targeted by Jayne’s Baby Bank, confirming a growing concern within the local authority.

Official Clarifications from Social Services:

In an internal email at 07:54, the Social Services Department clearly states that they have no direct affiliation with Jayne’s Baby Bank and that she should not be claiming to act on their behalf—something we previously confirmed.

Update – 16 January 2025:

“Jayne Price” released two live videos in response to the claims presented above. We have preserved both in a single, combined backup file (33 minutes, 8 seconds). Full transcripts are searchable via our custom transcript engine.

In the video, “Jayne” misrepresents internal emails from council, trading standards, and the Charity Commission as having originated from HCT Wales—this is false. We reaffirm that our project is unaffiliated with any organisation and exists solely to protect families in South Wales.

At 01:58, “Jayne” falsely claims no involvement with homelessness, yet there are at least four sources contradicting this statement—all from her own platforms [1] [2] [3] [4].

She also incorrectly states that all redacted content is “too sensitive”. The ICO clarifies that redactions are required when other individuals are referenced—not simply due to content sensitivity.

She later claims she is no longer obligated to maintain “charity shop prices” as she no longer operates as one. This directly contradicts prior claims of charitable status.

Court case reference

Finally, at 13:15, “Jayne” insists that “Jayne Price” is her legal name, despite documented evidence to the contrary. It is also confirmed that “Carrie-Anne Ridsdale” recently appeared in court on criminal damage charges (Case No: 61CY0283624). You may track updates via CourtServe.

In conclusion, the video further supports our findings of misrepresentation, alias misuse, and administrative inconsistencies. We invite readers to conduct their own verification. Our goal remains the same: to uphold transparency and protect communities.
