Analyzing the CCBC Subject Access Request: Uncovering the True Identity and more

Over the past several years, significant pressure has mounted from both the public and ourselves regarding the operational status and identity of the proprietor of Jayne’s Baby Bank. During a recent live stream [backup], in which she disclosed a subject access request made against her, several noteworthy revelations and details came to light that merit attention. Firstly, we believe that “Jayne” was unaware of the extent of the information she shared publicly. Additionally, it appears she has attempted to deflect attention from the details provided by Caerphilly Council by targeting individuals whom she seemingly perceives as threats to her operation. Below, we present screenshots, text extracts, and our perspective on the matter.

Premise: At 0:20 in the video, “Jayne” mentions that she has requested all complaints made about her from the Helping Caring Team (HCT) Wales. Throughout the video, internal communications involving CCBC are shared, but no names or identities beyond JBB and CCBC are disclosed. She also claims that Trading Standards is assisting her and recounts being taken to a room for a voluntary interview. During this interview, she alleges that a staff member from Trading Standards informed her that someone within HCT Wales was filing complaints against her. However, it’s important to note that such an interview would likely be part of an investigation into her activities. The notion that anyone within Trading Standards would risk their job by revealing such information seems highly unlikely.

Internal Correspondence:

“Jayne” shares the first document from her subject access request, stating that our website has caused her to feel suicidal and that her doctor is aware of this. To clarify, our aim is to expose illicit activities in South Wales to safeguard mothers. While we deeply empathize with mental health struggles and do not condone suicide, we also do not condone fraudulent actions. Additionally, she claims that this document originates from our website, which is untrue. On July 24, 2024, the Complaints and Information Team Manager contacted us to confirm that she was not authorized to make referrals on behalf of CCBC.

The email is an internal document from within Caerphilly Council, where one department contacts another to verify the referral status. This is evident from the email headers, which clearly show a “from” address associated with Social Services and a “to” address ending in @caerphilly.gov.uk. Later in the video, at 04:29, it is revealed that the document comprises 398 pages. 

Multiple Identities:

At 05:31 into the video, we can see a small internal document which relates to an investigation regarding trading standards. We can also note the following two names, Jayne Price and Carianne Risdale. 

Charity Registration: 

“Jayne” frequently claims that she is not a charity, despite having previously stated in posts that she is, in fact, a charity. She has also boldly declared in TikTok videos, “when my Dad says I need to get a real job! I’m retired. director of one of the largest children’s charity’s in Wales and an influencer! 🤣” At 05:40 in the video, she mentions that HCT Wales contacted the Charity Commission about Jaynes Baby Bank, even though she asserts she is not a charity. However, the email in question is not from HCT Wales; it is an internal communication between CBCC and the Charity Commission. Her charity applications were rejected twice.

Facebook Confusion:

At 06:00, “Jayne” asserts that this image serves as proof that the previously mentioned charity is responsible for the operations of this website. In reality, the image is a screenshot from her personal Facebook page. Our website makes no reference to parking, as shown in the image. We can further confirm that the image is from her page by visiting her profile, which includes mentions of parking.

“Jayne” Exposes Her Emails

The documents shown at 06:25 and 06:30 contain emails sent from “Jayne Price” to CCBC. One email references HCT Wales being “jealous” of her “success” and demands that they cease and desist immediately. It is likely that this email was then forwarded to the relevant departments within CCBC as a formal complaint, which explains their acquisition of the email. The second part of the email/complaint lists her diagnoses of autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and dyscalculia, further adding to her already extensive list of disclosed health conditions. She also claims to be covering the majority of the rent for her properties, despite earlier video content revealing that her failed charity applications listed an annual income of £3,000 and £500, respectively. In further emails, she states that the police are monitoring a list of names, though without providing any proof. Other relevent information to note is her government gateway ID name being “Jayne Price” and company name “JBB Enterprises C.I.C”.

Person Complained Against:

Another internal document provided to “Jayne” should raise some concerns, especially at 06:49. Aside from the blacked-out content, we can see that the trader name “Jayne’s Mother and Baby Bank” is associated with another name, Ms. Carrie-Ann Ridsdale. How is it that she operates under two names? We have previously confirmed that her birth certificate lists her as “Carrie-anne Ridsdale,” and past associates and colleagues verify that she is indeed known as Carrie. Additionally, we can confirm she was evicted from her Aberbargoed property under the name “Ceri-Ann Ridsdale.” So how does “Jayne Price” become a legitimate identity, and how did she obtain the driver’s license shown on her Facebook page? How does she manage to have so many different names and variations? Another notable instance is when her name appears as “Miss Jayne-Anne Carrie-Anne Ridsdale” while signing a rental contract. In a post on the Cefn Fforest Community Facebook group, a member claims that “Jayne Price” is a neighbor. This raises several questions and uncertainties, all of which seem to be met with efforts to conceal the truth.

Urgent: Targeted by Jayne’s Baby Bank

In an internal email at 07:50 from CCBC, the Food and Network Support Team confirms that several groups have been targeted by Jayne’s Baby Bank, and that it has become a growing issue.

Early Years and Childcare Services:

In an internal email at 07:54 from the Social Services Complaints Department and Caerphilly Council, they state that they have no direct involvement with the baby bank and that it should not be claiming to make referrals on behalf of Social Services, as we have previously confirmed.

To end:

The video and her statements are clearly inconsistent. Unbeknownst to her, her private Gmail address and emails are also visible, but out of respect for privacy, we will not be sharing them here. However, you can draw your own conclusions regarding the intentions behind the Baby Bank.

Update: 16/01/2025 – “Jayne Price” has live-streamed two videos [1] [2] as a rebuttal to the most recent post (the first video was cut off and later continued). We have merged both videos into a single file with a total duration of 33 minutes and 8 seconds, available here as a backup for future reference and use in investigations by the relevant departments. Additionally, we provide commentary addressing her claims, further exposing her falsehoods and attempts to deflect conflicting information.

Throughout the video, “Jayne” once again misrepresents internal communications from the council, trading standards, and the charity commission as emails originating from a senior member of the HCT (Helping Caring Team). This is entirely false. We have no association with any members of charity organizations in Wales and remain a neutral entity, solely focused on the protection of mothers and the South Wales Valleys, with no external affiliations or interests.

At 01:58, “Jayne” claims she has no involvement with “homelessness,” but historical data disproves this statement. We can cite four sources [1] [2] [3] [4], all directly from her own page, as evidence.

At 03:30 in the video, it is claimed that all redacted content is too sensitive to be disclosed, which is incorrect. The reality is that any content referencing parties not involved in the initial subject access request must be redacted (Source: Information Commissioner’s Office). Despite her claim that she only requested complaints related to the previously mentioned charity, the absence of such content indicates otherwise. The complaints and emails shared are internal commentary and processing information relevant to the matter at hand.

At 04:15, she reiterates her claim that she has never presented herself as a charity, contradicting her previous statements describing herself as “one of the largest children’s charities in Wales.” She further emphasizes that she can now charge “whatever she likes” and is no longer obligated to maintain “charity shop prices” because she no longer operates as a charity shop.

At 06:00, a notice from Caerphilly Council regarding a subject access request for “Anne Ridsdale” is visible. This confirms that local authorities address her using her real name rather than her alias, Jayne Price.

At 06:40, she begins to hurl insults and asserts that she does not work for social services. However, historical data from October 29th, 2024, shows she claimed to be “employed by social services to work and care for thousands of individuals with mental health issues and disabilities with complex care needs.” We note this for future reference, particularly regarding claims about her qualifications and credentials.

At 11:40, “Jayne” makes another mistake by sharing an email titled “[Confidential] Trading Standards Investigation,” in which Caerphilly Council contacts FareShare Cymru regarding her registration and collection status. A freeze-frame of the email confirms it contains the statement: “I have been passed the email regarding the above. Just to confirm, Jayne Price/Cerianne Ridsdale is not registered with us for FareShare Cymru collections.” She then angrily reads the email and claims that FareShare has been very helpful with collections, despite the email from FareShare to the council stating the opposite. Based on these emails, we can deduce that there is an ongoing investigation into her practices, which explains her current efforts to conceal fraudulent activities, including but not limited to using a fake name to hide her business practices while claiming benefits and a mobility car.

At 13:15, “Jayne” claims that her registered name is “Jayne Price” and asserts that this is the name that would appear in court if these documents were ever presented, despite the aforementioned documentation referring to her birth name. We would also like to publicly disclose that “Carrie-Anne Ridsdale” recently had her first court hearing (case number: 61CY0283624) regarding criminal damage to property. We have no further details on the matter, but you can use CourtServe to check for any future cases involving her and her son.

The video continues for another twenty minutes, during which she attempts to deflect from the facts. She struggles to comprehend what she is reading, particularly the internal communications. We believe this post alone clearly demonstrates the deceptive nature of her actions, relying on lies and misinformation.
