Members of the Facebook group Jayne’s Baby Bank Exposed have informed us that the Caerphilly shop on Pentrebane Street has allegedly now been repossessed by the landlord, with locks reportedly changed and access restricted.
Facebook user CleverKangaroo9112 publicly claimed:
“I have received information today from a reliable source the landlord of the Caerphilly shop on Pentrebane Street has successfully regained possession of the shop as of yesterday, the locks have now been changed and she will not be permitted to collect any of the items inside.”
Another public comment from ExcellentSquirrel4668 stated:
“Correct. Although she is refusing to give the keys back & Dan is saying he needs 6 months to clear the shop out 🤣”
Additional public comments suggested activity around the premises in recent days. Karmahaha26 wrote:
“That may be why she was in pontypool today her car had quite a lot of junk in it and it looked like Daniel was taking something out of the car 🚙”
Meanwhile, Cerri Jenkins commented on what they viewed as unusual timing:
“Bit of coincidence saying she was opening up the unit to the public yesterday after they completed maintenance and then this today… maybe didn’t think it would get out just waiting on her post of decided to leave Caerphilly landlord (sorry) XYZ no footfall etc etc”
Others were more openly celebratory about the development. YellowFox7749 posted:
“Well done you lovely people… Hoorah the people of Caerphilly are safe again. 😃”
Concerns were also raised about donations allegedly remaining inside the property. BrightGreenPea wrote:
“I’m so sorry to every kind hearted person that donated, thinking it would going to the people in need only to find many thousands of items will be binned 😭”
The situation has clearly sparked significant public discussion online, particularly amongst former supporters, donors and local residents following the long-running controversies surrounding JBB.
If accurate, the reported repossession marks a major turning point in the ongoing situation surrounding the Caerphilly premises and raises further questions regarding stock, donations and the future of the operation.
… Sherlock!
