Alright, sun's out.

I'm still doing the box, Dan's still doing some maintenance, but he's put up extra hooks, but he's run out of hooks now for me.

We've sold him bits and bobs.

Found them, so they'll probably go in the window.

Oh my god!

Kamikaze sausage dog.

Go back there, sausage dog.

Go back.

Lovely records that go here.

What's that one?

Limited edition one.

And that one's a signed copy.

I need them in the window somewhere.

I'm afraid they're going to get knocked off by there.

Right.

I'm just going to do a quick video on these books.

Is that a clinical nursing one?

Signs in clinical medicine.

Yeah it is.

Is that one a free one?

Free copy for the library.

Some have got mixed up in the box.

What's this one?

Psychiatrics studies.

Some have got a bit mixed up.

Oh my god.

They're really heavy.

Bring a good bag.

Bring a good bag for these ones guys.

Right, so I'm going to go through them slowly.

Oh, keep reporting our stalker guys.

They're obsessed with us.

Absolutely obsessed.

Right.

I'm going to go slowly so that people who are interested in these types of books.

The Molecular Biology of the Gene.

That's a good one.

Can see what they are and see what we've got.

So all of these books that I've used, right, they've all been purchased as end-of-line copies.

So you'd be advised not to reference them in your dissertation and things like that.

But if you're interested in biology, if you're interested in anything to do with nursing or physiology or anything, these books are a good start.

You don't have to be doing a university degree.

You could just be interested in these things.

Oh, even that one's going to be the biggest and I have to go at the bottom.

I'm going to move them all now.

Oh my gosh.

Oh my gosh.

Bit of light reading for the weekend, like.

Oh gosh, right.

Get that one down there.

I think that one's got a DVD with it.

That's more aimed at younger people, that one.

But these ones are actual books that would be used for medical dissertation work and research.

But if it's something that you're interested in or if you've got your own problems that, you know, these are good books.

Half price.

Don't mess about here, you know, they're half price till 2026.

So I'm trying to do it so that you can pause the video and go slower, slower, because I don't do slow, you know.

Everything's top speed-ish.

Because you can see what books are there.

Play it slower and see if it's worth you coming in for them.

This is a good one.

Need a good... before you go into nursing, right, what I would recommend is...

Oh, no, no, that's a recipe one.

What I was going to say is get the recipe ones out because people will be buying these ones now, the vintage ones ready for Christmas, guys, and it's soup making season and cooking season.

Everybody's going to be off their salads and back on cooking.

So get those ones out in the shops, please.

All of these came here.

I had one first edition.

That was good.

Oh, I'm dizzy now, my knees are so heavy.

Just one of them is heavy.

But I thought, well, if I do it like this, like emergency nursing, you know, principles and practice, history of examination, pharmacology.

Oh, that's an heavy one.

Pharmacology usually is principles of medical biochemistry.

I'll have a good one.

Oh, God, I bet somebody wants me in this cupboard now.

Didn't think of that, did I?

A lot of people want stuff from this cupboard because they like the brass.

Those ones will go on the Free Mother's Library.

Man Against Disease.

That's a sociology one.

That's heavy.

He's a heavy one.

Symptoms and signs of in-clinical medicine.

Here we are.

Coronary care, biology for dummies.

You need a good, if you're going to go into anything in the medical field, right, and you want to progress in your career, you're going to need a good understanding of ANP, anatomy and physiology, right?

So start learning it now, because if you can learn your anatomy and physiology, right, before you do your access courses, before you do your diplomas, before you do your degree, that's one thing you don't have to worry about.

You don't have to go away and read that book and read that syllable because you'll already know it before you get there.

OK, and I'm so pleased that I knew mine before I got there because it meant that the night before the test for the ANP, I didn't even bother revising.

Now, something else I would advise you is do a plan and put it in your work, OK?

Because sometimes if you do a plan for your test and now you're going to attack your test, right?

So you're sat there now, you're going into an exam about ABC of major trauma, OK?

So the first thing you do on the first page is you write your plan of attack and now you're going to... right, it takes about five, six minutes out of your exam time.

This is what I'm going to do, this is what I'm going to do, this is what I'm going to do because they will award points for a good plan even if you don't execute it well.

So, you know, that could be two or three points that you might not get on your delivering of all you've done, OK?

That's another little tip for you if you're going into nursing and various other things.

Psychology.

Got this one then, all about us, Mencap.

Obviously, exploring experiences of advocacy, people with learning difficulties because obviously I got offered the position of learning difficulties in nursing in the interview, you see.

Should have done it, I should have done that first, but there we are.

I wanted to do adult because it opened more doorways.

If you do adult nursing, it opens more doorways.

You can go into being a doctor, being a pharmacist, into being a midwife, into being a children's nurse.

You can go into a lot more, OK?

You can go into radiology, you can go into a lot more, OK?

If you do midwifery, it's like the wrong seal.

It does exactly what it says on the tin, you'll be a midwife.

If you do pharmacology, it'll be exactly what it says on the tin, you'll be a pharmacist, yeah?

Do adult nursing opens more doorways.
