Right, so just a quick reminder, to nosy people,

we are designated collectors at certain charity shops, I'm not going to name them all, I'll say where, certain second-hand shops and certain donation bins for overflow or items that have been left out.

Outside, we have been authorized to collect by the managers or the owners of those bins, slash shops, slash second-hand shops.

This is an agreement that we've made because they are high risk of bin nippers pulling it everywhere, damaging it, just leaving it all out on the street for people to fall over, because obviously, you know, you would be liable if you left it there.

And also, the charity shop could be liable and the council liable if these items are left over a path.

But it also, in weather like this, things could get sucked and wrecked anyway, if they're not undercover and they haven't been packaged properly, and if they're binned as a borough, they'd be wrecked because they're all over the floor and the floor is dirty and there's bugs all over the racks and God knows what.

So we have that agreement in order to keep selected areas clean and tidy.

And I think you will note that the areas have been clean and tidy in quite a few areas where we are and other areas where we're not.

You will notice that the bins haven't been pulled out or, you know, there's a little mess outside the charity shops or anything, because myself and my staff have been told to do that.

We authorise members of staff to intersect with them.

We are going to get high vis, because they should have high vis on anyway if they're working on the side of the road, that says designated collectors on the back.

So that if you drive past and you see somebody, anything, or is that someone's soul, rather than you sticking a post on Facebook and being horrible about it and upsetting people, then you can see that we are a designated collector.

And also we're following health and safety because we're going to high vis on as well.

So, but I think you will agree that there are certain areas that people may know where we collect from, are looking a lot cleaner.

Like I said, we have tried to do it.

I have tried all last year during this bad weather period that's coming up now to wash and dry stuff and then take it to the actual charity or wherever.

But I don't know if I'm going to be well enough to do that this year.

But because we've now got the handshake agreement to do this, it may well intercept the bindikas anyway.

But I could do with a couple more, if I've got any mothers out there, with cars, because you're going to need a car that could circulate.

You know, me, Sammy and Daniel, we tend to circulate quite a bit anyway, back on four different places.

But we could do with some others to make sure that nobody is taking them or pulling them all about, etc.

But you will need to be signed in to do it sort of thing because we can't just have anybody freelancing picking up from wherever.
