Right, so I'm just going through the allowance now.

Okay, with one of our new starters today.

This worked really well.

We've got walkways and then we're going to move those and we've got a walkway, which we did not have this morning or yesterday.

So you can see the end of the tunnel.

All designer stuff.

Beautiful.

Thank you so much.

So my volunteer now.

So this is how we do it.

We've checked the price of this bag online because it was a named bag and the price that we could see it for was £7.65 on eBay.

So it's Kathy's bag.

So we'll say £7.

Right, so this is how the volunteer allowance has worked out.

So she's going to have £20.

She's worked hard today and it wasn't the best situation to walk into today to start working for us.

Well it was because you've seen this at our worst.

Right, so she's got a 7 and then a $3.50 teddy.

Let me break what it is.

Bag, teddy and then she's going to have another little $3.50 teddy.

Teddy is our top seller.

Right, and then she's got a mug.

Oh, he's 50p the mug.

I won't count the mug.

I'm not going to count the mug because it's a 50p one because it's a bit of damage.

You can have the mug for free because you're recycling.

And then she's got a lovely key ring.

I don't know what it is.

Is it Minecraft?

I don't know.

So we've got more now.

She's in the pound shop now trying to make it up.

So we've got 14, 15, 16, 17, 50.

So pick up three items, Bea.

Alright, and we'll do the three for 20 or whatever.

I tell you what, take a bag because it's your first day and you've dealt with all of that today.

Do a bag for a fiver and I'll put it all down as 20, alright.

There should be bags up there.

Here we are.

So that's how we work it out.

And we're going to add on, fill a bag for a fiver.

Fab, Fabuf.

Fabuf means, Fabuf means fill a bag for a fiver.

So we're going, it's over.

It's about two quid over.

She's worked well.

Plus I've had to nip up the market.

Plus I had to do the charity run.

She's worked well.

So we record everything down.

So I'm going to show you now.

I'm going to break data protection, I'm sure.

But we put it down again now.

So that's how it's worked out.

That's come to 20, I think it came to 22 pounds roughly.

And I've written it off as 20.

And then that's been recorded what that member staff has had today.

So for example, Sammy has had a Spider-Man squishy, 10 pound.

She's had a blanket, three pound, duvet cover kids, three pound, duvet cover kids, five.

So you can see really, can't you, right?

I got another one here.

Egg on sticks.

What's an egg on a stick?

Child's clothes, two, 50 peach.

What's she got?

Nappy knickers, baby rattle, reusable knickers.

So you know, we're not talking major stuff.

And on that day, she just had one item and was actually under her allowance.

And then I got another volunteer this had a lip balm, a baking dish, soup dish.

So you can see, you can see that people are not coming in here and walking out with wide screen TVs.

They're not coming in here and walking out with like we had 100 pound curtains in.

So just for transparency, you can see that the volunteers are not coming, taking the best stuff out.

And those 100 pound curtains have come in.

We've come up for 70, that'd be 35.

But they ring fenced.

So if staff wanted to buy them, they couldn't buy them at 75% off until after that date, right?

But they also couldn't take them on allowance either, if they were 20 pound, because it's not fair on the customers.

It's got to be, it's got to be done fairly.

The old, the old point, which a lot of people don't do, is it's not done fairly and transparently.

Okay?

And there's charity shops out there that don't even do that.

Right?

Number one, some charity shops don't even give them discount and don't even give them nothing.

And some give them too much and let them take what they like.

And that isn't transparent and that isn't right either.

But that's all recorded.

So, you know, you can see what people are having.

My volunteer I've got in today has been upbeat and happy all day and been good with customers.

A young person again, over 18, but a young person.

And first volunteer job and done really well.

Because I said we need to get a walkway, we got two.

And she's marketing for us as well.

So, there we are.

However, guys, I think we're going to need to pull a big sale out of the hat again, even though we're on sale, because I've never seen so much stuff in my life.

I don't know about you.

I got a car fall out there.

I got a lady with the trailer cancelled, thankfully.

Thankfully, she's cancelled tonight.

But yeah.

Wave Poplar.

There he is.

Need a warehouse tonight.

Need a warehouse tonight.

Oh, hello.

I can't picture the car now.

But have you rang PIP?

Because they've rang PIP on me this morning.

But PIP said, don't worry about it.

We know you're rough.

You know, we know you're going through it.

We'll authorise you for another three years.
