Right, well, I've had a quiet day, but I've had an interesting day.

I've been pricing up, still pricing up, the books in Riscarou that came from Bridgend as loads of first editions.

Beautiful, beautiful books they've been.

Just had a good price up quite a bit.

I'm down to a box now for my pile of doom.

Everything else has been priced up, so it's a little bit overstocked with books here, but that's okay.

They've got a couple of jobs to do tomorrow.

I need to get a Hoover in this drawer.

So yeah, I've had an interesting day because I've had a couple of council workers in shopping.

Best pen, take my best pen with me.

Yeah, so I've had an interesting day.

We were supposed to be doing some more donations I got in the back of my car, so I'm just going to price them on the drive tonight.

There's too many books here now, so I can't have any more books in here.

Maybe some DVDs because they always go well, but no books.

Because I think there's still some out the back, so I'm still pricing those.

So yeah, we've had an interesting day because we've had a couple of council workers end up being shopping on their day off.

So I'm in uniform at the end of their shift, called in, just shopping.

Topic of conversation in the Caerphilly by Council is Blackwood Shop, the landlord, what they've done to us, and the usage of the shops.

It's now been divided into three at least.

So that's interesting, isn't it?

That's interesting to know that it hasn't fallen on deaf ears, and that the council have taken an interest in the businesses that will be going in there, and what's gone on.

That happened to the previous landlord.

I'm slow connection.

That happened to a previous landlord of ours when the roof got damaged, and the asbestos was broken.

He wouldn't do the asbestos, and we had to go because it was middle of November and everything was getting damp.

And we passed that on to council and they said, you don't need to get rid of your tenant.

What you need to do is fix your asbestos.

And they were like, he was like, oh no no no no no.

But we couldn't stay there because everything was getting soaked and getting damp.

And the problem is it's going to go mouldy.

And before you went to rent it out again, the council went there and said, we can't rent this out until you fix the asbestos.

Doesn't matter what tenant you've got on there, whether you've got Jane or not, you need to fix the asbestos.

And the same happened in Aberbargo, because they had broken asbestos as well.

That's when it's dangerous, you see, is when it's broken.

That's why I know that, because they told me.

So yeah, so this is very good, isn't it?

So if the council see that we're being treated badly, they step in afterwards, ready for the next tenants, don't they?

So that's always good.

So that is interesting to know that they are keeping an eye on what activity will be going on in Blackwood Shop, because it's already been split into three, haven't it?

So that was a couple of interesting conversations of a couple of people who were employed by Caerphilipetta Council that came in shopping today.

That it is topic of conversation in the council offices.

Very good, very good.

Well, so anyway, we're off out tonight.

We were going to... I was going to sit on the drive and do the pricing in the back, because I've got a pile of books and DVDs in the back, and then I could just distribute them evenly around each shop, so they all got like an extra box more.

But we're going out with Roy and Ellen instead, going for a carvery.

Why not, isn't it?

Why not?

So I'm gonna enjoy that.

I got another camera this week, another bowel camera, so... but I'm gonna be sedated.

No wonder Michael Jackson used to be sedated to go sleep.

That was the best thing ever happened to me.

That is, boof, knocked me out for a couple of hours.

Wake me back up when it's time to keep pricing, isn't it?

So I've been quiet here.

The other shops have done well, but I've been quiet.

So I've ended... I'm last.

I don't know who was first.

Pontypool or Caerphilly, I don't know.

But I know I'm last.

They've just had a massive donation in... I've had a...

No, no, I only had a few today.

I only had a few here.

I can't remember now.

I can't remember.

My car's full.

I haven't been able to empty that.

I'm still working on donations this already year, and the backlog of the Bridge End books that I went down to pick up off that house clearance company that worked with us.

And I think there's still some more out there, because we put some under the travel quarter close and stuff.

So yes, there we are.

I've had an interesting day.

It's been nice really just to get on with some stuff.

It's been nice and have a chat to some of our old customers I haven't seen for a bit, because I've been down Caerphilly.

So that was nice to see them.

And some new customers come in.

I had a chat with them.

Oh volunteers!

There's a couple of volunteers for risk a rule.

Just turn up.

Just turn up and do a shift.

Just turn up, all right?

If you're not sure, message me.

But just turn up, okay?

On the days that we're open and start working.

There's always something to do.

Cleaning, dusting, sorting, tidying, folding.

Making sure things are, you know, presentable on the hangers that my one's hanging off a bit.

Look.

It's always something to do, guys.

Always something to do.

So yeah, it's been nice to have a little day in risk a rule.

I want to get out the back door and do that, you know, do the pots out there.

Get our beans in and everything.

It's a bit late now.

I mean beans will still grow.

So we still have a bean crop, but only maybe one or two.

But well, we could always wait.

We could always wait till spring.

We haven't got to do it this year, have we?

Hit the floor running perhaps in January.

Oh, yes, the diners got huge.

Cute.

So all the shops open tomorrow.

The only one that's not open is P2 in Pontypool and because it's full of donations to the roof and the donation centre because that's full of donations to the roof.

So can't be doing bad, can we?

But that's why we've done a mega sale to try and knock a dent in it before we've got to go in there and put it all in the racking.

Because right now, if we build the racket and the racking is going to be full.

So then we're just going to start filling up the donation centre again.

And we're like, need another donation centre.

So to keep up with the donations, we thought let's do a mega sale and see what we can get rid of in there.

And it helps people out as well, doesn't it?

So we've got plenty of stock.

We're never going to run out of stock, are we guys?

Never going to make me laugh when my volunteer said that she was trying to move stuff in her sleep.

And big gets like that some days.

It's gone a bit miserable again today out there.

Gone a bit miserable.

One minute is nice and the next minute is not, is it?

So I'm going to have a car free tonight.

So I might have a lamb.

I might not have all the meat because I got to have a camera this week.

I'm not supposed to eat like loads of meat, but I might have a bit of lamb.

Depends because sometimes they bit skinny and they do notice with the meat when they cut the meat, they look like they're going all the way down.

So you get a full slice and then they go... don't they?

And you're lucky if you get a quarter of the meat.

They're a bit skingy.

We went out the other night to harvest us.

They were very good in Pontypool because we were all a bit fussy and we got allergies and stuff and they were very good with us.

So very good.

If you want us to product test your restaurant or your cafe, let us know.

You will come out.

Why not?

Give you good feedback.

We'll give you constructive feedback because if there's something wrong, we'll let you know, innit?

But yeah, so we're off out now tonight.

All right.

Thank you very much, guys.

See you tomorrow.
