Good evening, guys.
On my way to Cofilli shop.
Don't ask, don't ask.
Somebody took my keys.
Anyway, I still haven't picked up my glass cabinet because I couldn't empty the car when it got done yet.
Right.
So I feel like that's all I've done is vlog from the car today.
I went back to my brothers, added up, fixed the teddy bears, done some CDs and then I had something to eat and then...
I had to go and pick up some stuff from risk scan and I thought, well, the roads are clear now, so I can bomb them, yeah?
And empty the car, can't I?
So, yeah.
So, might as well do a video now about warehouse safety.
Obviously, we're turning out now from a storage centre, right, storage unit, into a warehouse distribution centre.
We're talking up in the level playing field with the health and safety, OK?
So, it's very, very... I've got to clean the inside of this when it's green too, haven't I, at some point?
This is very, very important that people are switched on and are listening to what we say now, right, and can follow simple instructions.
Because we're not talking about a couple of bags, right, of donations piled on top of each other now, right?
We're talking about pallets of tonnes of stock, tonnage we're talking now, right, above head height.
Which, if they fall, if they're not shrink wrapped properly, or if I put pallets of stuff up, and then somebody decides to add three vases to a pallet, you've increased the weight on the racking, right?
So, you cannot mess with the racking, the pallets, anything past that line that we've already got and that chain in the donation centre, whatsoever.
Doesn't matter who you are, OK?
You cannot be in there without a hard hat on, right?
It is serious now.
We've had a few, you know, training sessions to say, you know, don't price stuff, don't do this, don't undo anybody's work, and, you know, think about people's perception when you're writing labels, and what they're going to think if you've just tonnage shoved it on there.
You know, the biggest thing that they can complain about us now is that we've got too much stock and the shop looks a mess, or the labels look scruffy, or we're not doing this, we're not doing that, it looks a mess.
That's the only thing they can complain about now, the haters, isn't it?
So, that's what we need to work on.
So, this is why we need you to listen, right?
Because I need, I can't have any volunteers or members of the public crossing that line in the distribution centre now, OK?
Because we're talking life or death if you were to walk in there and didn't have a hard hat and something fell off a pallet, something wasn't shrinked properly, you know, the racking came out because somebody added three vases and didn't add it to the actual invoice that's on the count on the beam,
so we all knew exactly how much weight is on the racking.
Those beams will only hold a certain amount of weight, OK?
So, if anybody messes with them, right?
So, if anybody messes with those beams after we've put the weight on, you could cause an industrial accident, OK?
So, this is very, very serious now, guys, OK?
I know we have a laugh and a joke and the rest of it, but when it comes to warehouse safety, it is very important that you follow the instructions that we're giving you, OK?
You won't be allowed to just wander in the warehouse if you're a customer or if you're a staff.
The other thing, I want to do the catch point, but it looks like it's over here.
I'm not supposed to be the other one, then.
Oh, the other thing, it's a good news, it's a good news, it's not all death doing the roof and hard hats.
Our health and safety officer, Fort O'Vine, used to be a warehouse health and safety officer, so I said to him, that's amazing, because I want to turn my warehouse into a proper distribution warehouse with proper racking and proper hard hats and high fitters.
Would you be there in an advisory capacity, because obviously it's under Caffetti, but as an additional advisory capacity, because I would also, somewhere down the line, a year down the line, two years down the line, who knows, tomorrow, open a warehouse in Torfaen area as well.
So, would you be able to support us in an advisory capacity, because that was your previous job role, and he said yes.
So, that's brilliant, isn't it, guys?
So, yes, I'm still got, I'm still on this route.
I've got another five bags in here now.
Somebody just gave me five bags, brilliant.
So, I'm going to drop them off now.
This is why I need 24 hours access to the shop, because my son takes my keys sometimes.
There we are.
We said it, didn't we?
Right, off I go.
