Morning, guys.
I'm off to pick up some bar stalls for fundraisers and they've just given them to us.
There'll be a Blackwood shop.
We're looking for about a 10-inch room, I expect.
They're a nice wooden one.
Prepare to turn left and follow the A469.
So, we've got Blackwood open today, 75% off, and we're also doing Pontypool, 75% off.
I forgot last month that I said that we were going to do 75% off at the end of the month because everybody struggles at the end of the month, don't they?
So, rather than you miss out on something, we'll do it all cheaper at the end of the month.
For how much does it all, you know?
What's over there?
Oh, a farm shop!
Oh, it's a little shop.
I haven't seen that one before.
There's a nice shop up here that's going.
I think it used to be an hairdresser's, but I'm like, I don't really need to be in this location, but it's big.
It's not bad.
I did look at it and think, well, but I'd rather be on the high street.
I think it's up by here.
Let me see if I can turn, you know.
It's the one with the black sign.
I can't remember what it's up for now, but it's going upstairs as well, I think, which is what I didn't expect for that building.
I'm pretty sure it's here in Booty.
Yes, look, here in Booty.
That's a nice size for us.
That's a good size for us, that is.
So anyway, I told you, didn't I, there's a couple of shops in Blackwood with no names and addresses on it, no-one's renting it, so Dan popped round a couple of the other shops and said, do you know where the landlord is?
Anyway, we got a number.
Anyway,
we got a number.
Dan left a message for the landlady, being dressed in the shop.
Prepare to turn right and continue to follow the A469.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
All the rest of it.
And left a message, we had needed it, I think, for about two days.
You know, give people a chance to get back to you before you start harassing them, innit.
So anyway, last night she rang.
And one very well last night, again, one very well yesterday.
Turn sharp right after 300 yards and continue to follow the A469.
I am, I'm not very well, I can't poop at all now, I'm dreadful.
Can't poop on my own now, dreadful.
But obviously this is why I'm having a camera and everything else tonight, but I'm not well.
The trouble is, all the toxins are still inside you, see, in there, which is no good.
Don't know what it is, whether it's a bowel obstruction, I don't know.
Previously thought to be the tumour that I had in my womb, pushing into the...
because it was in the back wall of the womb, pushing into the bowel, causing a bowel obstruction.
But obviously that's shrinking, so it isn't that.
So, when they did a camera once before, they only did two thirds of the way before I couldn't take it anymore.
So they've got to go in again.
I'm not looking forward to it.
Erm, but there we are.
There we are.
Got to have it done, I think, because I can't go at all.
I know it's too much information, breakfast time, but I just can't go on my own.
It's horrendous.
Doesn't matter what I eat.
What I don't eat.
It's bad.
So, yes, anyway.
So, landlady rang Daniel late last night, because I was in bed.
I'd gone to bed, and I thought, oh, I shouldn't have gone to bed.
The thing is, it's all the toxins, isn't it?
Are we in?
Can we for Wales?
But it's the other side, it is, but, you know, they don't.
Especially some GP, no.
You know, they haven't known, don't they?
Erm...
And I was on the run before, anyway, so it's not the first time I've had major problems like this.
So, anyway, she rang Daniel last night.
And, er, so Daniel was like, oh, yes, this is what we were doing.
This is what we were like, and this is our press range.
Erm, because I've...
She's pretty good on the phone now, isn't she?
This is what we're looking for.
We know it's Blackwood High Street.
And we know that, you know, your building is, like, £1,200 on a good day.
But it's too much, you know.
It's too much for us to turn a profit to cover the food bank as well.
And it's a smaller shop.
You know, and we can have the same price up the hill.
Three shops in one.
Blah, blah, blah.
So the lady was listening to him.
She said, yeah, I appreciate that.
She said, I know what you're doing.
She said, you know, you will be first on my list if the shop is available.
She said, but where is my tenant?
So Dan didn't know what to say because I was still in bed.
So he hadn't really woke me up.
I was half asleep, you know.
She's like, er, I don't know.
She said, but where has my tenant gone?
That's in me.
Dan was like, er, awkward.
He was like, I don't know.
He said, he went down his hall, shut up.
And that's why we thought he was empty.
You know, he said, like, I went in next door and said, do you know the landlady?
And they said, they did.
So they'll see if they can get the phone number and give it out.
And they said, oh, yeah, it's been empty for a while.
So she was like, yeah, but where have they gone?
This is a major company, guys.
This isn't like a little, it's not like our ass or a charity or like a small business.
This is like a major name.
You know, a major player out there.
It's like they've just gone.
And he said, I don't know.
She said, well, I've been trying to find them for two days.
And we were like, we haven't got a clue.
We do not have a clue.
We do not have a clue.
So Dan was like, yeah, but we're very interested.
If you don't frame your tenant, we are very interested.
Erm, where do we go?
Gilvach.
John Street, I think.
There's a speed camera around you and there's a nasty one.
It's hidden quite well, this one.
There's no markings on the floor.
There used to be markings on the floor with
this.
Yeah, so Dan was like, well, if you don't find your tenant, we're still interested.
So he came there and told me, I was like, do you think perhaps they've refurbished or perhaps they've gone on holiday?
It's a major company, like they keep opening.
They just rotate the holidays.
I was like...
I was like, Dan, I said, they've even taken the sign off the front.
I said, that's why we couldn't remember.
Personally, we couldn't remember the company that was in there, but she told him which company it was and we were like...
Where have they gone?
But I mean, you know, that's nuts.
They've just gone off the ice street.
They've just gone, right, and they haven't even...
They haven't even sold it, I think.
I mean, it could work in our favour now.
But, oh my god, it's frightening, isn't it?
It's frightening.
This is a major, major player.
Right, I've got to find the Osno, so I'll have a look.
Okay, I'll get back.
