Right, so I'm on my way to Cosmic Cuff Billy, and there's the Purple House.
Pinky-perky.
Erm...
It's hot.
I hate the heat.
I want it sunny, but I don't want it hot like this.
Because it kills plants.
There we are.
Maneuver, signal, mirror.
Don't even think we had a signal.
You didn't mirror, signal, maneuver, did you?
That's for sure.
We did maneuver, mirror, signal.
Erm...
So I'll do another video now showing you how to get to our Cuff Billy shop.
We sold half price.
We're half price until 2026.
Started off as a joke.
And now it's a reality.
Right, so I don't know how long this heat wave is here, but we're not going to be doing the donations and the racking in this heat.
So there's new luck.
Come across here.
People don't really look.
I've noticed on the crossing here.
Watch, see look.
Oof, straight over.
They could do with a zebra perhaps there.
Because people don't really look.
This is what I find.
We're just across here.
I might park in the back today, because this bit's probably all taken up.
However, all the signs up, but we've got to get a bit of corrugated, erm, corex to go on the other bit.
They came out the other day and said it would be alright to have your sign.
They said yeah.
Because obviously you get taxis parked here as well.
And I got a car full.
So I might have to go in the back garden.
But that's us there guys.
I'm going to register this with walls by Paul.
Oh sorry, can't even see.
There's a shutter.
And a potty pool shop.
And there was another one.
What other shops did we go?
Oh my god, I can't even remember.
Potty pool shop.
What shops have we got?
Anyway, we might do the donation centre as well.
Landlords, don't worry about it.
Because we'll paint over it when we go.
But it might actually be a selling point.
When you actually take it on anyway.
Because the Valleys Art Projects by Walls by Paul is quite sought after.
If we ever go.
Right, landlords.
You need to lower your rents.
Because you've currently rented a shop in Blackwood High Street.
Princeton's need to lower their rents.
If you're a landlord and you've got Princeton's in you need to get rid of them right now.
Because the bottom is literally falling out of the economy right now.
And they're charging ridiculous rents.
They wanted £800 for a tiny little shop with no toilet.
On the high street.
Which I'm pretty sure is illegal.
Yes, the pub's going to let you go to the toilet.
But they're not going to let you do it forever.
They've had to lower that rent below £500 to get somebody in there.
But £500 is extortionate for not even having a toilet.
I think it's dreadful.
So landlords.
I am urging you again to rent your shops to myself and other businesses with a cheaper rent.
Because once the bottom falls out of the economy completely, which is on its way you've got card shops closing.
You've got fast food businesses closing.
You've got restaurants closing.
You've got hairdressers closing.
You've got booty shops closing.
Nail shops closing.
Wake up.
Wakey wakey.
They're not going to come back.
The economy is never going to bounce back.
Right?
It's not going to bounce back.
Stop waiting for it to.
Okay?
I'm urging you to rent it because right now we're offering a decent rent for the economy and so are other businesses.
Once the bottom falls out of the economy you're looking at pennies being offered for rent.
Because nobody else is going to want to rent your shops once the plague is pulled out.
So, if you're sensible like some of our other landlords you would I mean, don't bother with Blackwood Shop because I won't be staying there after my lease anyway because of the messages I've received off it.
So don't even bother, right?
Because that's red flag, red flag, red flag for me.
You know, it's no good ringing me saying, oh I can't pay my bills, I can't do this I can't do that.
I'm not paying your bills.
Sorry.
I've got my own bills to pay.
My own bills and I'm trying to help mothers pay their bills.
So don't even bother ringing me up with another offer for that one.
But unless you drop your rents and be sensible like our other landlords and maintain those rents all over you ain't going to have tenants in there.
I had an estate agent from Cardiff come down to see me last week.
Was it last week?
Might be the other day I don't know.
It's all merging into one now.
To ask me what type of properties I'm looking for in Cardiff.
I haven't even said I want to shop in Cardiff.
This landlord contacted me.
Now I don't want to blow our own trumpet but ours is probably one of the most sustainable such as other second hand shops.
Charity shops are closing down.
Because the charity commission isn't funding them to be there anymore.
I mean a lot of you are taking advantage of the charities being in there with the higher rent.
And all that money is coming from the charity commission and grants and things like that.
People ain't giving grants.
Like a good friend of mine who knows a lot about the charities does a lot of charity work herself.
She said to me, people are not giving massive grants like 10,000, 20,000 anymore because they would rather give 1,000 or 500 to multiple charities, to multiple groups, to help everybody out.
So you will lose your charity shops before long as your tenants as well.
You need somebody who can independently sustainally sustainally keep their shops.
Which is me or the reused shops.
Because the reused shops are funded by the council because they have to do it as part of health and recycling, sorry no, health and hygiene.
As part of recycling laws they have to do it.
So my advice to you is now from what I can foresee I mean there's another 10 shops that come up overnight.
Buy this lease, take this lease, take this stock.
I mean I've got people offering me stock in Hereford.
You know we've got to sort out a convoy now to go up to Hereford to pick up a pile of stock from a place that's closing down.
Because they can't even afford for someone to come and take the stock to pay for somebody to come and take the stock off their hands and the fixtures and fittings off their hands.
We're doing it for free.
We've said yeah we'll do it.
But they can't even afford or they've got nowhere to store the stuff and they can't afford storage prices.
Really really need to think now about what's going on in the economy guys.
Right I've got to go now because I might have to park around the back and I haven't done it before.
