Alright, morning guys.
We're all late this morning.
Everything's gone a bit pear-shaped this morning.
But there we are.
We're all in now.
I've got two volunteers in the new shop.
One sorting clothes and one painting.
Decorating ready for when we move in.
I found this shoe in my house.
I knew I had this shoe.
I think Emma,
I think that's what I'm wrong with.
I knew I had that shoe.
That's why I always say never throw out a pair of shoes.
Oh, single shoe because I've probably got it somewhere.
Thank you to all our customers that come out in the awful weather we've been having.
I've got one volunteer in Blackwood and I've got one volunteer in the donation centre making room because we have secured 17 bays of racking.
Yes!
But I can only have six now.
Anyway, six to be going on with innit?
So he needs to make room.
Now I'm paying for the racking out of my savings.
A thousand pound.
You can't go wrong for that.
For 17 bays of racking and it's really good condition.
So we haven't got the spare funds to do that so if anybody would like to chip in and help us, the more racking I've got, the safer I can store donations which will keep the councils happy.
You know, keep the staff alive which you know, that's a big help.
It means we can take more staff, more donations which means we can help more people, fundraise more and help more people in the community and bring the prices down for you.
Start of the year we'd put a lot of these clothes up to £5.
250 because we knew we were going to be on sale all year and now we're back down to a Okay, so just shows you, doesn't it?
Just shows you.
Like we're not greedy.
You know we're not greedy.
We try and do you a deal as well because we know you guys are struggling money-wise.
We're all struggling and we were all under the oppression right now.
So if anybody wants to chip in for the racking they're more than welcome to and we can give you a shout out and a Thank you.
So don't forget to put it on the messages or when you pay it across.
I'll put the link up and the bank details.
It's entirely up to you.
Or you can put money in the pots in the shop.
But let Daniel know so we can give you a shout out.
So yeah, Riscaroo is open.
Pontypool is open.
Blackwood is open.
The new shop is currently being decorated and sorted and it's full.
You know.
That was my car then.
I was like I'm not even in it.
So yeah, it's all good guys.
Won't be long now.
Won't be long.
We'll be up and running and then we'll have a good day.
We've put in a load of these pound clothes because we've got backlogs of this.
Of what we sell for a pound.
You know, I mean I don't think they're worth more than a pound.
That's brand new.
That's pretty.
I don't think they're rubbish.
I don't think they're waterproof trousers.
You know, I don't think they're rubbish clothes.
I think they're really good clothes for a quid.
So the first week will probably be all pound stuff.
We have got designer stuff there.
I've had a walk around the other shops in the area and they're about 350 for a bog standard item that we charge a pound.
So we are going to be cheaper.
But we put a bit of designer up there I think.
Because I think people will like it.
So it's worth us doing that.
So I'm gonna be here till about probably about four or five tonight.
Then I'm back to Roy and Helen's because they've already given us a carload of donations from where they've been house clearing and cleaning out their stuff.
And I think they've got another car full for me tonight.
And then Roy is helping us out with a trailer for racking.
Otherwise I would have had a van.
And it would have been a big van.
So it would have been expensive.
So he's gonna help us out with his own trailer.
So that's very kind of everybody isn't it?
Like I said the more equipment I've got, the better we can function.
The better we can keep the wheels rolling isn't it?
Can I give you a sneak peek of the decoration in the new shop?
A little sneak peek.
Just a little sneak peek.
So we're open today guys.
75% off spent £20 get £5 worth of stock for free.
Because we've got so much.
We've got so much.
It'll be nice now to get that racking in the way.
I'll say well it'd be a nightmare to get it in there.
And then a nightmare to set it up around it all.
Because I don't want... you know it would be raining this week wouldn't it?
When I go racking I need to pull everything out and build the racking.
No no I'm gonna have to build it around the blooming stuff now.
But yes.
Secure the 17 bays of racking.
Keep manifesting.
Keep manifesting guys.
Because we get everything we want don't we?
And that's exactly what we need.
You know.
We've had a look on the website and they don't know where we are yet.
Not be good.
Not be good at their job at this Sherlock team.
They don't even know where our new shop is.
There we are in it.
So yes.
I'm here in Risca.
If you want to volunteer come down.
I have got bits to price.
I think I've got a big box there.
I think that's off.
Darren and Kelly.
Stuff that was left and there's a few books I've checked on.
And some other stuff.
And then we brought some shoes from Pontypool.
Sammy sorted some shoes.
Bring down here because we haven't got a lot of children's shoes and people have been looking for them.
So we've got those down here.
I may have secured a dresser to go here which I may pick up today.
Well that'll be better because I don't like this setup by here.
It just doesn't work with the rest of the shop.
The rest of the shop is quite aesthetically pleasing.
Isn't it?
This bit isn't.
So yeah.
The sun is coming out now.
Keep praying for the sun because it's after him.
I didn't realize it was after him.
And you know.
I think the children need to get out even if it's just a run around the parks or whatever.
My knee is bad.
I know everybody's been working extra hours.
You know.
All of us have to try and get the other shops sorted and you know.
Well the rest of the shops are okay if Pontypool is a little bit overstocked.
You know.
For my liking.
No your liking and everybody else's.
So we've tried to get a little bit of it out of Pontypool.
So free up some more space for shoppers and prams and stuff in Pontypool.
But we don't.
Well we're going to open the next shop fully stocked like this one.
It'll be fully stocked.
Is all I can say is now we're now opening shops fully stocked.
So for this that came in.
Should we do a deal on the prom dresses?
Because I think.
I think this one's of a tens.
That'd be five because it's only a small one.
And it's a short prom dress.
Should we do a deal on the prom dresses?
Because prom is coming up.
Everything is expensive.
Most of them are Pontypool.
I've got one down here.
I don't think it's any in Blackwood.
Because we sold them all off.
Trying to look for the picture now.
I did take a picture of the prom dresses.
But so much.
Oh there we are.
So we should we do them all.
20 quid each.
Yeah and the suits.
So the occasion wave are there now.
There's obviously prom.
That's all I've got now.
Unless we.
Because sometimes we get them in as well.
Because if they don't sell them for prom season they'll bring them in then.
And you know.
But sometimes it cuts it fine.
Don't it?
Cuts it fine to get it back out for prom.
For people to wear.
So should we reduce them all down to 20 pound?
Somebody tell Aretha?
Because she'll be like what?
Nobody told me the prom dresses were.
They are a bit difficult to get down.
So you're gonna need the stick.
Which I think I've stolen and put in the new shop.
Allegedly.
I didn't think I did but I may have.
So yeah.
Should we put them all down to 20 quid to help everybody out?
No matter which ones.
20 quid.
Because they're all up about 50, 60.
Something like that anyway.
I don't know.
How much would it be if we took 75% off and it was 60?
Somebody work it out.
Whatever it is.
Whatever is cheaper.
20 quid or the 75% off.
Right.
We'll do it that way.
To help everybody out.
Is there?
Right.
So I'm gonna add some Pepsi Max.
Not sponsored.
Should be.
I got some toast here.
Some bread and some toast.
And I'm gonna sit over there now.
Because I wasn't very well yesterday again.
I was having palpitations yesterday.
I've got a lot going on.
A lot trying to organize.
And it's all a bit backwards.
Because we really needed to get the rack in first.
Then fill up the donation center.
Then sign for the other shop.
But it's not working that way.
We're like there's the donations.
Sign for the other shop.
Check them all in there.
Paint.
Start painting around it all like we usually do.
And then we're still waiting on the rack in.
We've still got a problem over the over the donation center.
Because we can't move for donations over there now.
It made me laugh when that Sherlock put on the website.
Oh well people are dumping all their junk there at us now.
We don't have junk.
We don't have junk at all.
We have... look does it look like junk to you?
Does it look like junk?
It might look like junk.
You might think well I don't like that.
That looks a bit junky.
You might say oh yeah they look a bit junky.
Don't look like junk to me.
Oh you know Ted.
These are our top sellers.
You know that.
You know they say things like oh it's all junk.
I don't think so.
I find a lot of the collectible items.
I mean that's Capa de Monte there.
I didn't even know Capa de Monte did fruit.
Perhaps that's where it comes from.
The man from Del Monte.
I don't know.
Perhaps there's a link.
I thought they only did people.
Didn't realize they did Capa de Monte and fruit.
We've got jelly cats.
We've got jelly cats in Blackwood.
We've got jelly cats in Blackwood, Pontypool and Risca for sale.
Mountain Brown.
He's nice the skull mag.
We've got Royal Albert.
Cotton Traders brand new.
Mac.
Yeah.
Beautiful baby clothes.
Mickey.
Look lovely.
Beautiful baby clothes.
We always have them in don't we?
We always have beautiful stuff in.
Look at that.
Look at these lovely things we have knitted and donated.
Look at that.
Brand new tags.
Nike.
You know.
Look at this lovely thing.
A bit wasted isn't it?
It needs to go up.
Be displayed a bit.
You know.
We'll go there now.
Two-faced.
You might say it's junk.
But me and the 75% off and if you spend £20 you get £5 worth of stuff for free.
Do you want to go past me?
Thank you.
Here we are.
Getting the books ready for dawn.
We've got a bit of a problem.
We think Daniel made these shelves to fit down Big Risca for something else.
But not books.
Put the normal way.
So we need him to rectify that at some point.
We'll get another shelf.
I'm just going to start putting this stuff out now.
A little window one.
Pokemon.
I think we get all the junk.
Pokemon hair.
Winnie the Pooh.
I love that Winnie the Pooh.
Turtles.
That beautiful item.
Look at him.
Remember when they gave him a black one.
A big one didn't they?
I think you sold it didn't you Lisa?
Look at the glass poppies.
Look at all the teddies we got in at the moment.
Look at that Mickey Mouse down there.
Vintage Queen Anne there set.
Look at the Mickey.
Hans Christian Anderson 1983 vintage copy.
That'll be 75% off today.
Marks and Sparks perfume and open.
Looks like junk mine doesn't it?
So yeah, there we are guys.
Right, I'm going to go now.
Eat Pepsi Mugs.
