So, hiya, guys.
James Baby Bank.
High Street Shop.
Numero 6.
Numero 6.
Pending.
Pendoir.
Is that even a word?
Pendoir.
Um, yeah.
There we are.
The landlord had already bought the pound a month, and he's also taken the bat off.
In exchange, we've said, well, we won't bother you, you know.
Which we try not to bother our landlords.
It's quicker sometimes to do a job yourself, as somebody needs doing.
And we can give you a longer lease, so we can do five years, you know.
We can do longer than three.
So, this landlord now has agreed a lease.
I haven't signed it yet.
Reduced.
Taken the bat off.
Five years.
And to keep the price the same.
For five years.
That's a testament.
It's not a testament to me, because I would be doing it anyway.
And with a team.
Right?
The testament is to the volunteers, to the baby bank, and to you guys.
Okay?
Because he said, I'd be watching you.
He said, I'd be watching you.
We do all this stuff in the community.
He said, I can't believe you don't take a wage.
No, we don't take a wage.
I don't need to take a wage.
You know?
I'm on the breadline like everybody else.
I'm there with everybody else on the breadline.
You know?
And I'm happy on the breadline.
You know?
I'm happy where I am.
You know?
I'm ill.
And I'm being supported.
And I'm happy where I am.
On the breadline with you guys.
Okay?
And that's how I can empathise with you guys.
I could easily take a wage out of this.
Not interested.
Not interested at all.
Oh, I'm on my... Hang on.
My hazard's on.
Sorry.
I've been driving for about two miles and my hazard's on.
Yeah, so that is a testament to you guys.
And he said, I can see your followers.
He said, I can see that people are coming from this town to go to Blackwood town to go to your shops.
He said, I can see people from this town are going to Pontypool to your shops.
So, yeah.
I know.
I said, we're very popular.
I said, you can see that by the donations that we get in.
You know.
I said, we have got a group that's a pain in the backside that's really jealous about us.
I said, but there we are.
We can't help being popular and we can't help rocking it.
You know, rocking the show.
So, that's good news, guys.
That's really good news, isn't it?
Six shops now.
It's better for us because it means we can get more stuff out.
I think this is going to be a good location for us.
I think we're going to get good donations, good volunteers and I think we're going to get good sales.
Good sales, which means we can get more stock rolling.
Thank you to the customer we had in Blackwood yesterday.
They spent just under 100 quid.
Thank you very much.
We really, really appreciate it.
And so do the volunteers and so do all the other mothers that's benefiting from us being there.
You know, the more we take, the more shops I can take on, the more outlets we go to help people and different mothers in different locations.
This is a different location.
Come into a town near you very soon.
It's exciting.
Exciting and we can fill it.
I can fill it in 24 hours.
What's this guy doing now?
Blocking everybody up.
Is this one going to go now or... I'm very sorry, but this van kept me up.
So yes, good news, guys.
Good news.
All round, isn't it?
We could fill our shop tonight, if I'm honest.
But there we are.
We know what we're doing, don't we?
So Sammy, I need 500 to 600 hangers.
Good ones.
I don't want all your crappy ones.
This is why we always keep a back stock of them.
So we need them.
I'm going to need to order baby hangers.
Fish out our slat rails because there's slat walls in there, which is a bonus.
I need rails, dressers.
You know the drill, guys.
You know the drill.
I need paint.
I might need to take my resident artist over.
Subconder onto another job.
Get some painting done over there.
But yeah, coming to a town near you soon, guys.
Exciting.
