Morning guys.
Happy birthday to me.
Don't forget it's 75% off in the shops.
There's not much excluded I don't think.
Free £5 toy or value of up to £5 toy book, DVDs for children.
Child has to be present otherwise we'll have the boy men in and the resellers begging for Pokemon.
I got a car full of gear as you can see.
I need volunteers in every shop.
Get in there.
Show us where you've gone.
How have I spent my birthday so far?
Well I've had to do a poop test.
I've had to do a blood test.
Full blood test.
Everything and I'm checking for Crohn's and celiac.
So I really like my toast so that's not gonna go down well.
How do you feel when you eat the bread?
I don't feel a bit... I don't know.
I know I'm eating the bread.
Like do you know what I mean?
I know it's in my stomach.
I don't know.
But I don't feel like I'm having a reaction to it.
I don't know.
Anyway probably too much information.
I've had a bunch of flowers so far.
Off my auntie Gayle and uncle Alan.
And I've had... Well I've had nothing off Daniel because he woke up and went Oh it's today is it?
It's usually like that.
It's today is it?
Crept up on me.
So yes.
I've got to go now and pick up a card off my other auntie because she can't get out.
And then I shall be down Riscaroo.
Riscaroo is open today.
So I'll be could do us a volunteer to help her.
We've got a massive influx over there again of donations.
Pontypool phase three.
We've had the go-ahead.
Off a landlord and they have negotiated a very good price for us.
Very good price.
I would say 60 to 70 percent off what they were originally asking for the shop.
It's just you know spending a lot of money in Pontypool to be Pontypool but it is a good opportunity to have.
That's the only problem.
I'd rather spend the money elsewhere and be in a different pocket.
I'm going to have photographs of the one in Tredegar sent to me today.
So we might be up there now by this afternoon.
You know what we're like itching to go somewhere else.
Itching to open another shop.
Caerphilly.
Oh another landlord from Caerphilly contact.
I mean said you still interested in my shop.
I was narrowing it down which shop.
Look at the shops all the time.
So yeah we seem to be in demand.
That's two shops in less than 24 hours we've been offered.
One I didn't even really ask for.
It is a shop compared to the other thing that I was looking at.
So I think they're about the same size so if you can come down in price.
Like I said we're not going anywhere.
We've been five years now trading.
We ain't going anywhere and in the next the next one to two years 24 months it's really gonna sort the men from the boys this credit crisis is.
Big time.
And I always used to laugh and joke and I used to say it's just gonna be us on the high street and the pound shop.
But I don't even think the pound shops doing that well.
Since nothing's a pound in there anymore.
You know.
But what can you say you know.
You've got to pay the minimum wage.
You know paying people to you know spend money.
You're taking taxes off them.
You're paying electric, gas you know and all the rest of it.
Hyped up charges and then you know they've got to pay extra national insurance.
They got to pay extra electric and they don't get domestic rates don't forget.
And they got lights everywhere in these big shops.
I take bulbs out of my lights because I'm like I don't need the shops.
