Oh, morning guys.
I'm here.
I've done a night shift.
I've been excavating, like an archaeologist do, for all turns of fossils.
So I've had a go.
A lot of this is for Blackwood.
It's got to be bagged up.
It's my own going basket.
It's gone from a box to a basket now.
So a lot of this is... that big bag there is full of like jewelry and bits for my mother to sort and receipts.
Because we try and keep receipts for everything.
I need those games checked just to make sure they're all there today.
I don't know if I'm gonna get around to the games.
So a lot of this got to be bagged.
That's a Blackwood bag.
This is all stuff I've priced ready to be distributed across the shop this morning.
I've got some milks I need dealt with.
So just give them out to people who want them.
No restrictions on them.
Because obviously I don't want them going off and the rest of it.
Had some nice shoes in because we had some crocs.
Children's crocs from Oshkosh.
Oshkosh.
I think that's how you say it.
And then there was some adidas but they've gone in the wash.
So all this needs to go out.
Nerf guns.
I could start a nerf gun factory.
Right.
So I've excavated most of it.
I've done the donations behind them.
Got to the stairwell yet.
That's a bag of abadash.
If somebody can work that next week.
I've got to get the rest of the dividers done for these bookshelves.
Sold quite a bit yesterday.
Six books.
Six books at our prices is a lot.
Now if you're selling ten for a pound you're gonna sell more than us.
But you're not gonna earn as much as us.
Or you'll be on a par with us.
For a greater stock.
If you see what I mean.
Everybody's after that.
I had loads of offers on it yesterday.
Sling it up.
It's Star Wars.
We've got some good stuff in there.
Tell you what.
We've got some good stuff.
I mean we always got good stuff.
Haven't we?
Fair play.
Like everybody says.
I love this show.
I love it.
Yummy.
Because look.
We get so much stuff in.
That's a jelly cat.
Vintage.
Vantage Perfume.
Special ones on for specialist people.
Then I mean trying to take them off because they are good.
Well they're a bit strong they are.
But they've got conversions, insufficiency in the lenses and loads of stuff going on with these ones.
They might... don't look it.
Because I picked some funky ones.
But they're like specialist ones I had from uni.
I think I'm a bit ambitious by saying we're going to be selling stuff at the donation centre today.
Because I don't think it's excavated enough.
It can take donations.
That's not a problem.
But I don't think we're going to be selling stuff.
Selling stuff from you.
Because we've got Loretta and Vikian today.
Don't forget this extra allowance for Saturdays and Sundays for the volunteers.
Please take it.
We will force... oh this needs to be built so customers can see what it is.
I don't think we're keeping it.
Where did this lovely bay come from?
Oh he's beautiful.
Oh you shot with it on his own.
Shoes going down nicely.
Can you remember when you couldn't get over the shoes?
That's looking nice now up there.
Well it's you know it could be better I think.
But you know they are massive blankets.
I think it's better for the blankets up there.
So we could do a get in there stuff that's going to come down and boink somebody on the end down.
Like keep all the lampshades down.
Oh that's a nice one.
Look at that one.
I don't know if that's been priced.
It's heavy.
Oh it's like fadzoo.
I got that.
That's how old it is.
Right fadzoo.
I don't know what they're called.
That's sick silk isn't it.
Sick silk on the 20p rail.
Nobody can match us for prices and brands.
Yeah it's lovely that lampshade.
Oh it's like fadzoo.
The amount of lampshades I got honestly.
I like this one too.
I like this little jumper.
That's been hand knitted that.
See something like that shouldn't really be on the 20p rail.
That's had been hand knitted so it should be like five to ten.
But we got so much.
Put it on the 20p rail.
We've got another Star Wars in.
This is for down Vicky's.
We've got some nice plates.
Some cheap plates.
Cheap plates.
Back room.
This is getting a bit piled up here so can we excavate that this week at some stage.
Um please.
Lovely vintage ornaments we got.
We've got some really nice stuff again.
We always have nice stuff.
We always have nice stuff.
There isn't a time.
I think that's the name of Bridgewater mug.
There isn't a time when we don't have nice stuff.
Got my sign up.
So we need one of these now in Blackwood.
Because I don't think Chloe started hers yet.
A library for others to come in and take books out.
Oh this pile of doom.
It's looking a lot better since we've been taping the baskets up.
We're doing fill a bag for Fiverr on the clothes because we can.
Why not?
Um I'm going downstairs but we've got some really really lovely stuff.
Really quirky kitsch stuff.
You know like you know the Larrods purses and nice little stuff here.
Little cotton peps.
We like them don't we?
Little budders down the bottom there.
Good little Fendi perfume.
A Vantage Fendi.
That set there is Pyrex.
A coffee set.
A little bit of Liz Earl in the background there.
What's that?
Is that the Taj Mahal?
What is that building?
But yeah tons.
We've got some fantastic Disney magazine.
Fantastic ones.
All half price guys.
You know that.
Look at the lasts up over there.
That's nice isn't it?
All half price.
We've got lots of Moses baskets in if anybody wants a bundle or Moses basket.
Once we're full we start offering them out.
So I'm hoping to bag up Blackwood by year now.
So it's out of the footway.
Put it up there.
I'll have a look because I think there's a few more bags there I haven't worked.
But I'll have a look at them.
I've had a good go behind the counter.
I've put the toothbrushes, toothpaste, the bick razors.
Yeah there's still loads to do.
Always loads to do.
No rest for the wicked is there?
Got some nice squish mallows in.
They are... what's the other one?
Flip a mallow?
Flip a squish mallow?
I don't know.
That one's not right.
Flip a squish mallow.
No that sounds a bit rude.
Insulted a squish mallow.
I don't know.
Flip a mallow?
Squish a mallow?
What was it called?
I don't know.
Anyway we've got a couple of tags on and we've got some other nice plushies.
We always have nice teddies don't we?
Teddies are my top seller.
Got some bookmarks going.
We've had some bookmarks made.
My mum's gonna laminate them.
I want the children to make them as well because obviously the money is from the books is ring fenced isn't there?
So if you're from another charity shop let me know how much you've taken on novels specifically this week yourself and at your prices.
I won't reveal what charity you are because you'll have the stokers on you.
Sherlock and his band of I can compare it with yours.
Now ours is only just picking up again but that would be good to compare but loads of stuff to go out this morning.
Now I haven't got any free books anymore children's books right?
There is one or two because if we find one that's you know in that section to be free then obviously we write free on it and I tend to put out the front.
But the only books I got now are the ones I kept back which are vintage and they £3 up because they are vintage collectible children's books.
Okay there's about possibly a hundred out in the shop so they'd be half price so they'd be £150 or whatever they are because some are more obviously some are like £10 depending on what it is we've got one beauty and the beast which is the first edition which is £25 a ladybird first edition.
So they they will go up in price because they are vintage collectible books but just for you to be aware because I know we've been giving books out for free for quite a while now.
Right I'm going to get back to my pricing.
I don't think there's going to be any sales at the donation centre because we've also got to stop in the middle and pick up some glass cabinets.
I don't think we're going to get that far today I think that's too ambitious of me but Pontypool will be open for sales.
