Right, so evening guys.
We're open till 8 tonight.
I've got another car full of stuff that's donated by a national charity.
And we've probably had, in the region, of what I can see, £2,000 to maybe £3,000 worth already this week donated by other charities in stock.
Ok, because stuff like this, I think, cleaned up.
They go from anything from £60 to £80.
Things like that.
So it does mount up quite a lot.
So can I remind people, if stuff is left outside a charity shop, you're not to pick it up.
That's stealing by find.
Ok?
It doesn't belong to you.
The other thing is, if it's one of our designated shops and it's been left out for us, or they put it there at closing time and we can't quite get around there at closing time, you haven't got permission to go in there either.
One of my volunteers went round to pick up some items the other day and there was two women in the boxes scrounging through the boxes, probably looking for stuff they could bloody sell for drugs.
Right?
That is not your property.
It's been handed over to us.
Please do not go through any donations that are left out for us.
Any donations outside our shops or any donations outside other people's shops.
On every single account it's an offence for you to do that.
That you could be arrested and charged for.
It's not left there for you.
It's not left there for anybody to pick at when they go through.
It's even left there for a specific reason.
And if you take it you could be charged with stealing by find.
And you could also be charged with stealing their property and our property as well.
Okay?
And it's not fair on my volunteers that they've got to check these bin dippers out of the boxes every time.
It is not your property.
If you've got an issue and you see us picking up then you're welcome to pop into the charity shop and speak to the managers and say is this right?
Jayne's baby bag is picking up from you.
And I'm quite sure they will say yes because we wouldn't take anything from anywhere else unless we've been authorized to.
So yes, thank you very much.
There's some brilliant stuff in there.
There's a few things that have got to be fixed or washed.
I think I've got two bags of washing and that's it.
I'm going to wash some stuff.
A couple of things that Dan will have to put a screw in.
But apart from that, brilliant stuff again.
Like I said, we're more than happy.
As long as we've got notice and a set time so that we can get it sorted.
I can't just drop everything because obviously we're in the shops and we're up to next as well.
So absolutely brilliant that these bigger organizations are recognizing us.
I can't put their names up because this stalker, we all know who it is.
Remember the subject access request?
Proved who it was.
We'll start putting their spam links all over it, you know.
Just trying to get people not to work with us and the rest of it.
So yeah, anyway, there we are.
Pontypool is open till 8 o'clock tonight.
Don't park by Farm Foods if you're coming down or anywhere where Farm Foods is because you will get booked.
Either park up Tesco's or park in the Multi Stories.
If you've got a car full because I know there's some people dropping off, I can let you on the high street because we're authorized on the high street for loading and unloading after half past four.
So there we are guys, yeah.
Busy, busy tonight.
I got a couple of volunteers in.
I could do with more.
I could do with more volunteers every day, you know this.
