So, I'm still here.
What day is it?
What week is it even?
Are we still in March?
I don't know.
Anyway, I've been trying to do these for hours, these clothes.
These are all the pilot designer stuff, ready to go down to Vickney's side.
But every time I do it, something goes wrong.
Anyway, so our Uber Eats.
So, you order a mystery bag of clothes, right?
So we'll probably have them pre-packed.
Like, girl, three to six, boy, six to nine, right?
Because straight away I can see a problem with six to nines because we don't have so many of them.
So we'd have them packed and then on the Uber Eats, because I'm just thinking now, how Uber Eats works, is it would say, wouldn't it?
Like, it really annoys me when I try and order the soup from Gregg's to have my toasty within the morning, and it says, no, you can't have it, it's out of stock.
It's not out of stock, just I've warmed it up.
I always write on there, send me soup and charge me extra.
And they say no.
It always comes back with no on it.
Anyway, we're not like that, we're not like that.
Who wants soup?
I'll stick a little soup in.
Right, so, order your lucky bag, maybe ten pound.
If I can do it for five pound, and we're not losing any money by doing this, I'll do it for five pound, you know that.
In there will be three to six girls clothes, which you've requested on the app, okay?
And it'll be a mixture.
And then, say you need a peppy one.
If we got the stock, I usually give two, right?
So I usually give two of them.
Now that ain't going to be a problem to us on Uber Eats to list, because there's only so many milks.
So once we've listed the ingredients for the allergies, this is, see?
Because we've got to list it for the allergies.
Once we've listed it for the allergies, that's going to be okay, because...
I don't know, I'd have to check how often we've got to check for a change of ingredients for that.
But anyway, anyway, right?
Sometimes we put two in of those, because they're so little.
So yeah, we could do that, and then you could request your five items.
So you could say, can I have a suda creme?
Can I have a sanitary towels?
Can I have a shower gel?
But the problem I've got then would be how many of the five item top up, how many different ingredients are on there for the allergy information.
Because not every source is the same, is there?
So, it might be that for the Uber Eats deliveries, we'd have to order all the same tins for that.
It's the only way I can see around that, if it is in another way around it.
Now, I've had problems with Uber Eats and places like that before.
Don't order from Arvesta's.
Get it wrong every time.
Which I'm gutted, because I really loved having an Arvesta's delivered.
But I've contacted Uber Eats and they've turned around and said, yeah, we'll fix it.
Within like less than 12 hours, they've fixed it or refunded me.
But then you still haven't got your dinner.
But the added bonus of that is that if you're using Deliveroo, or whatever, Deliveroo, Good2Go, and you're just going to come and pick it up ready so it's all ready for you.
Because they don't deliver, do they, Good2Go?
That would be a game changer if they did that.
If you had a problem, like if the delivery man went and it was smashed on arrival all over your baby clothes, not going to get that out, do we finest curry or whatever it is there?
Then you wouldn't have to, well you can deal with Uber Eats, but you can also message us in the shop and we can rectify the situation.
But I mean, if we were sending that out with a food delivery driver, then I would expect them to know, because I would write on the thing, glass, fragile, and probably put bubble wrap around it.
Doesn't mean to say the delivery driver won't swing it over your gate or something, innit?
So yeah, we could do that, but you've got the added bonus of being able to message the page and say, this has come and it's the wrong ingredients.
When I've checked it, I can't take, I can't have, oh I can't even see it.
Oh I don't even think that is, is it?
That's the energy.
Where's the ingredients on there?
Oh there they are.
Oh I need glasses.
I need, well I've got glasses, but I need better ones I think.
So I think it got chilli powder.
I think it says chilli powder.
I'm not quite sure.
It might not even be a jar of curry.
My eyesight's that bad.
So you might say, oh it's got that in there and I can't have it.
And you might have put it in the notes.
And maybe we've missed it by human error, but we can swap it for you then, can't we?
You know the end of the world, is it?
You can message us on the page as well.
And then if you've got any, like nappies, we'd have to say, well it's whatever we've got in stock, but you can put on there your preference on the notes.
I'd prefer Mamiya, I'd prefer the Tesco ones.
The Little Angels is the one people have problems over now.
You know, I don't ever buy Little Angels just in case, but we do have some donated.
But I always say to the mothers, you could have a problem with these.
Yeah, so we could do that.
What do you think?
I mean, for us, it's better if you come into the shop, because obviously you might spend more money.
So if I put a ten pound spend on it, for the lucky bags.
The other thing is, we could have perhaps a miscellaneous one on there.
Whereas, say you've seen like a reef and you've gone, well I don't want any baby clothes, but I want the reef.
I want a reef with a pack of nappies, and I can't get out to get it, and it's gonna go.
Then perhaps you could have miscellaneous, put in ten pound, and you can message me, and I can put in the reef, and then put in the pack of nappies.
Couldn't I?
I don't know, I think we could pull it off.
And the added bonus of that then, is that our brand is advertised, isn't it?
On Uber Eats, advertised on Deliveroo.
And somebody could turn around and say, oh look, I've had jeans baby pants on Deliveroo.
And good to go, and all the rest of it.
And then you've also got the free advertising with that.
But I'll have to have a look into it, and see what the cost would be to us, and all the rest of it.
But, and what the radius is.
Because, it all depends, if you've got a delivery driver, isn't it?
As well, I suppose.
Well, my delivery driver's been alright so far, but I have had problems when I've ordered from certain places.
So...
I think it might be good, because sometimes, like, you know, it could cost you three or four pound anyway, in the car, with petrol.
Or maybe you just want to order a lucky bag when it's hard, you know.
I just fancy ordering one of these lucky bags, I'll join us, have a look what's in there.
And then if you're opening up, and you think, oh, I didn't need the vest.
I could have done with bodysuits, or cardigans, or something.
Then, you can bring them next time you're in town, and say, I had these off my Deliveroo.
Use my Deliveroo receipt.
And then, you know, because we will get people that order three to six, and then come in and try and swap them for six to nine, and you know, nine to twelve.
Yeah, to just keep getting a freebie every time.
But, if you come in and say, can I swap them for that?
Or message the page and say, I'm not fussed on that green.
You've put all green ones in, and you know, I don't want green.
And forgot to tell you, we can just swap it, can't we?
That's the beauty of that.
So yeah, what do you think, guys?
I think we could pull it off.
I mean, it depends on any orders we get.
But, yeah, I think we could pull it off.
Because, sometimes you've got to walk, and you've got the kids, and you've got little uns as well.
It's not just a pram sometimes, and then it starts tipping down with rain, or then it's really cold.
You know, and it might just be, actually, I just fancy buying something.
Because sometimes we do, don't we?
I buy stuff off TikTok, left, right and centre.
And I go, I'll order one of them, I'll order one of that, I'll try that.
Get my 20 toilet rolls, or my 200 toilet rolls, whatever it is, you know.
I get that every month now.
Because we're using them for the shops here.
Yeah, you know, you might think that.
You might have somebody sick, and not be able to leave the house.
So, you might be on your own, which means you've got to bring out three or four.
What do you think?
We can try it.
I need a couple of guinea pigs to try it.
Obviously, we're compensated for being a guinea pig.
Just in case it don't go wrong.
But we could try it, couldn't we?
And then the delivery guy would pick it up.
Wouldn't they?
At the shop.
Dan give them the bag, or the girls give them the bag.
And say, right, so they've got a lucky bag.
Seal the bag.
And nappies.
Or say to them, there's glass in there because they've had a jar of curry or whatever.
And then...
The lucky bag would be in a sealed bag just in case like the food leaked.
You know, because then we've saved the clothes.
So we could put that in like a postal bag, couldn't we?
Yeah, yeah.
Let me know what you think, guys.
I think it's something we could do.
