Alright, so I thought I'd do a progress report.
Let's have a look.
Let's take some in here.
So we've got a few extra bits that need to be dispersed now, but it's still good, you know, still looking good in here.
We've got a few bits that have accumulated up.
Where are they from?
Bits and bobs there that haven't been sorted yet.
But they're okay as they are because they're in a box so they're contained.
I'm trying to go slow here.
I know I'm a bit fast.
They're nice, aren't they?
Those flowers.
So, things are going.
You'll be surprised with cells in a day.
We've had a lot of the designer clothes and the vintage designer clothes go.
Vintage sportswear.
Oh, that's a lovely colour, isn't it?
A lot of that go.
Right, let's knock the lights off.
In here.
Shut this door up now.
Right, so I want to take you round to phase two.
We're nearly ready.
Look for our ramps.
This has been hoovered.
Your shoes.
250 pair.
These are down here too.
Some lovely ones in there.
So, you know.
And they've tidied this up.
Let me come back.
They've really tidied this room up.
It's lovely.
These are all the 20p's as well.
We've got so many guys, you know.
We're so lucky we were able to do it.
Look at that.
Vintage capper.
You know.
They've got to save for £9 but they're 20p.
We have a dash rail.
We sold stuff off there today.
These are all £10 but they'll be half price.
So they'll be £5.
So we've got a few ornaments on there and bits and bobs.
This is nice.
Look, they've sorted this look today.
Remember this was like an avalanche.
That's no good.
It's no good volunteering if you're just going to dump stuff everywhere.
You know.
They've looked at that today.
They've cleaned it up.
They've folded it up.
Put it in bags and now they're ready to start this box in the morning.
So we didn't get around to doing this donation.
But there were three of us and we absolutely smashed it.
Absolutely smashed it.
All of it.
We just...
We've got loads out.
We had to put a little bit in the cupboard just for now.
Just because it's China we don't want it all over the place.
Phase two.
We've got our Mother's Day up.
I think it's actually down there.
But there we are.
Sold lots of design away today.
So I'm happy with that.
Very happy.
So I think that we've got bits of toys here.
We didn't get around to finishing.
But we've also got some nice toys down there.
And bits.
To go.
And then we've put them down by here just for safe keeping tomorrow.
Gave us a chance to get in and then put them out tidy there.
And all the other things.
Lots of nice little things.
Yeah, I love those glasses.
So yeah, we just sort of...
As I was posting.
Sam was posting.
And sorting out the...
The dirty teddies and stuff and the dolls.
And then we just left bits like this.
Bits that are not going to get broke or anything like that.
That we can just deal with in the morning.
So...
Look at these.
A little half of them, yeah.
So yeah.
Bits and bobs.
And then some toys that were...
I'm not sure if there are parts missing.
They might be going in the free trolley.
Free trolley and washing and checking there.
They just got to be priced, priced.
I don't think we checked the brain lab thing.
I don't know what this thing was.
Do you have a chance to look at that thing?
I don't know what it was.
But we smashed it.
So that was great.
That was.
I'm so grateful.
Like...
When's that coming?
Is that just coming now?
But it's looking lovelier again, innit?
You alright?
Oh yeah, I need to look.
Yes, you have got room up there for me to stick those.
So I'll get the no nails and stick them up.
So you've got signs up there.
Looks lovely.
Look at the clothes.
Much tidier.
Fab.
So yes, I've got this lovely donation to go through next.
But I'm going to go up and do a bit of pricing up there.
And I might just have to do this one tomorrow.
Look at all the lovely stuff we got.
All donated by the community for the community.
And that's exactly what Jan is saying.
Donated by the communities for the community.
Because it all goes back in, doesn't it?
All goes back in.
So we'll probably paint that red.
Or I'll have to sit this down because that's my fire bit.
So we can do that.
That's what we do now in the mornings.
We come through now, walk this bit.
Make sure nothing's fallen over.
It's in the way.
And then...
Whoever's here, if they're finishing in this department, they'll come through then.
Start closing the doors.
We've got some fire doors to go up here.
Which we're going to try and get up.
We've got a plan, see.
I've had the fire doors in these three years.
If I knew I was going to be having that builded.
We've done with them fire doors, haven't we?
Don't plan for them.
What do you want fire doors for?
We'll wait and see.
There we are.
We're going to have to walk tonight now.
I've been working since 10pm last night.
And before that, I'm going to shift them back.
But my knee...
I think my knee injection is starting to wear off now.
Which is not good.
We've got these fantastic boxes.
All nice and clean, ready for the...
Because look, that's...
I think that's 10 to 11.
It's full luxury, so it's going to get knocked over.
But if it's in a deeper box...
It'll be easier, won't it?
Loads of 20p clothes went today.
Lots of bargains to be had.
I don't know what isn't selling well.
It's computer games.
And we've reduced these to like £2.
So we might just have a...
Computer game frenzy.
And get rid of a pile of them.
I've got tidies to price now.
I don't mind pricing tidies.
I don't mind abidashary.
Tidies.
What else?
Sometimes you need a break off certain things.
You know, baby clothes.
I'll move on to something else, isn't it?
I have a prom dress there to go up.
So we've got about five or six guys who've seen them there.
I don't want to put pictures everywhere.
Because some people don't like to see them from a second-hand shop, do they?
So you know we've got prom dresses in Pontypool if you want to come and look.
None in Blackwood at the moment.
I'm tired.
I might do myself some food now.
Good fish.
I think they're all Yorkshire puddings in there.
I've got the air fryer so I won't do that.
I've wrapped my feet in foil blanket.
And then put socks on.
Keep them a bit warmer.
Saffron's red from my feet.
They're so cold all the time.
But I think it's all part and parcel of the anemia and the aplastic anemia.
I'm going to toast them up in my heater.
I've got some lovely clothes into place as well.
But I've gone nowhere to put it.
So I need you in guys.
Lovely customers in today.
All lovely we've had.
Downstairs and upstairs.
I think Blackwood's had nice customers too today.
Blackwood's looking lovely.
Get up there and give me a review guys of what you think of Blackwood now.
It's really nice.
I think give it two weeks now and then I'll go up there and put some more posh only months up there.
Because the bric-a-brac only months will be gone I think.
Now they've been set up tidy.
I mean the ones that are a bit more expensive like you know if that was £20 it's going to take longer to sell.
Because it's a considered purchase.
But the bric-a-brac is like literally like a couple of quid.
I'm going to go and have that.
And I'm only going to get it until it's half price.
I've got two trolleys of jigsaws left.
They're three for a pound.
They're in Pontypool.
I need them gone.
I need them gone guys.
Because I know I've got more coming in.
I've got bags of games there to go through now as well.
I might do teddies.
I might do teddies.
Five minutes.
I've got fish.
I've got a couple of yorkshire puddings.
And fish.
I think I'll do that.
Ake in a bit though now.
Ake in a bit.
There we are.
Right, see you in a bit.
