Right, so I'm in because I've got some stuff to work.
Some stock to work, so I'll keep it on top of it.
And then I've got nothing else to do today, so what to film?
Oh, Mr. Watson, your box.
I've got to put a sign up, I think.
You close the business Friday then, and the sofa's going back up for sale.
There's no refunds or exchanges.
So, well workers, we worked hard in Blackwood today.
Can you all go up and have a look, please, in Blackwood?
And let us know what you think.
We accept constructive criticism.
I had a lady today, she's been shopping with us before from Cambridge.
And she said she struggled to get it this bit with her pram.
She said Blackwood's looking a lot better.
She actually didn't realise that we had the shop down the bottom either.
Because she hadn't been for a while.
And she, last time she came, she didn't realise we were card.
But she was ok, she was a paper card, but she didn't realise.
So this is the bit that she said she couldn't get a pram through.
And we know that.
That's a constructive criticism.
I'm happy to take that on board.
So I think we might have to shift that.
It do get narrow over there, but it's this bit.
We've got to shift now, guys.
We know that anyway, don't we?
From the pile of doom.
That is why we sack somebody.
Because, like I said, don't just think my CCTV doesn't work.
See, it does.
And my manager had folded all of this, lovely.
Always folds it nice.
Right, all folded and sorted.
And then came up by you, a member of staff.
Came up by you.
Dumped shit by there.
Dumped stuff by there.
Dumped stuff by there.
All on piles and went back down.
Now, see, I don't want people like that working here.
Because you've got no respect for our mothers.
Because you don't care that that's not tidy for them.
You've got no respect for me.
You've got no respect for the baby bank.
And you've certainly got no respect for Sammy doing that.
After she sat there for ages folding all of that up.
The children's clothes are a nightmare for us.
This is why we've stopped filling our bags.
And things like that.
Because, especially if they're in buckets and baskets.
They get in such a mess.
They've got to be done now nearly every day.
Blackwood has to be done every day.
This one has to be done every day.
And then if we've got a Risca open.
Obviously Riscas are a lot smaller, isn't it?
You know, we're lucky if we've got ten items on a radium Risca.
And it just wipes it out, doesn't it?
But...
I've had members of staff that make messes.
I've had members of staff again.
Like, all of that was always full of stuff.
And we were like, well, why is that full of stuff?
Coming up here.
I give plenty of warning.
I give plenty of warning.
The CCTV was active.
That's how Prom Dress is there.
Lise, I know you were asking today.
Got some nice ones there.
And I know we have got a cot somewhere.
I think it's upstairs.
So you can have that cot.
Because I've got any fixings.
So you'll have to screw it together.
Oh, it's looking good, yeah.
I might get a chance to put the wool around now.
Looking much better, yeah.
At least you've got a walkway, yeah.
So, yeah.
Oh, sure.
Anyway.
We're in a position now.
To offer you a £5 free spend.
Children's birthday.
From the playroom.
Okay, or clothes.
So it'll be from in you.
In the Pontypool shop.
And...
As well.
So on the day of the birthday.
It's a bit awkward with the children's day of the birthday.
Because you've got to drag them out on their birthday to come to our shop.
And you might be sorting out stuff for parties.
So I think as long as it's within the week of the birthday.
From Monday to Sunday that week.
I think we can do it.
And you can come in.
You can have £5 away for stuff for free for the child.
Okay.
And then that'll help us keep...
Because obviously we're getting lots of toys in now.
Oh, the other thing is.
You know the big bear.
Oh, he's lovely.
I love him.
Thank you so much James and his team for that.
Shall we...
If you want pictures taken with the bear and the children.
Before we get it out for raffle.
We can do that.
But it'd be easier for Dan and Chloe up the top there.
In Blackwood.
If you...
Can come in like all one weekend.
Because you've got it down there.
You can put a little chair there.
Or you can just put the babies there in a bouncer or something.
And take a picture with the bear.
So we'll figure something out in it.
We can run it over like two days or something.
Then you can put the bear back in the window.
Don't forget clothes are still 20p.
We've gone well in Blackwood.
There's no many left.
So it might look like we've got a lot.
But it isn't.
Trust me.
Two weeks max I think.
For all those 20p clothes to go in Blackwood.
Definitely.
Definitely.
And then all the boutique clothes will be going up there then.
Like we've got the boutique shoes and bags.
Alright.
Got some lovely blankets coming here.
Beautiful.
Abadash is looking well here.
I filled up Dan's abadash rail today.
It wasn't the best.
I'll be honest with you.
The best abadash is over here.
It is a bit more cheaper.
Like the £3.50 stuff.
Like we get a duvet.
So we say £3.50 or a cheap £3.50.
But then what we will do.
We've got our big curtains over there.
But then what we will do is cherry pick from.
Because we've got so much.
Cherry pick.
The best abadash to go up Blackwood.
Other than the curtains going in there.
Um.
Oh.
Yeah.
So there we go.
And the market guys are going to have a look at um.
Shifting the...
We've got a pigeon.
That's decided to just live on the lamp upstairs.
At the top of the Blackwood shop.
So obviously it's making a mess.
So they're obviously looking to change all of that.
Put a spike up there and move the light.
So that it doesn't keep doing it in front of our door.
So please.
We have reported that today.
We reported a couple of weeks ago.
But anyway I've done it again.
Because there's no point just cleaning it up.
Because if that's where the pigeon is living.
The pigeon is going to keep doing it in there.
So they've got to evict the pigeon.
So I think that's it guys.
I'm going to sit down now.
I'm going to find a nice film.
Drop me some comments about what film.
Like I said.
Pop into Blackwood.
Thank you.
We've had lots of lovely comments over here.
Since we got rid of the messer-upper.
We've had loads of comments saying.
Looks good here.
Looks good here.
And we've still got ideas to work on.
As long as it's a constructive criticism.
We'll take it.
If it's an idiot just posting stuff.
Bin.
That's what we do.
Block.
Bin.
Somebody's cleaned that shelf up too.
You can see that.
Remember that was so funny.
That was so funny.
I put the shelf there.
So this is for free books.
Free books for mums to borrow.
I just turned around.
And I filled it.
I filled it with stuff.
I was like.
I don't know if I'll have to get another shelf.
So yeah.
We've got some new shoes in.
I'm going to get around there now.
And tidy them up.
Oh these are still here.
One pair are gone.
And I don't know if they have a pink pair sold.
Could do like a little stool in here.
The chair is too big.
For people to try the shoes on.
But you can see where they've come down.
Like can't you?
This is why we need volunteers in.
See just to make it easier for us.
And the mothers.
Because they come in and they tidy up as they go around.
In an ideal world you would be able to pick up a pair of shoes.
Try them on and put them back.
But we know how much stock we've got.
They're new.
So you know sometimes it's difficult to put it back without it falling down.
They're lovely.
Look at them.
We know that.
But that's what we're here to do.
We're here to try and make the shopping experience as easy as possible for mothers.
While giving them a cheap and cost effective shopping experience.
As well as supporting the baby bank.
So like I said this is why we don't need volunteers that don't help.
Make messes.
Make the situation worse.
We've got rid of a few haven't we?
So...
Here we are.
