Also, hi guys.
I'm in Newport.
I've just done a pick-up from Cardiff, E.V.
in Cardiff and Newport.
Last night I did 8 pick-ups from Ebbw Vale.
And I've probably gone over 4 to 6 tonight from Ebbw Vale.
You know, car full of donations.
I'm having a subway, I'm having my dinner because I'm on the night shift tonight.
Picking up and if I get a chance, start sorting out the donations that's coming because we've had a massive influx.
Thank you very much to everybody.
I've got teriyaki chicken with cheese.
All the salad.
None of the spicy ones.
Tons of gherkins.
And I love pickles and strong taste.
Barbecue sauce.
And sweet onion sauce with it as well.
I have got a bottle of salad cream kicking around in here somewhere.
Maybe stick a bit of that on.
Because I like strong tastes.
And I've stopped doing the honey and mustard.
Because I would have had honey and mustard on that.
And I've got the honey oat bread.
That's my favourite.
What's your favourite subway?
Put it in the comments down below.
Or your favourite sandwich.
What's your favourite sandwich combination?
This is probably my favourite sandwich combination.
I used to like coleslaw and cheese when I was growing up.
But I changed it.
I'm not a big fan.
So yeah, we need more customers.
Alright, we need more customers because of the influx of donations that we've got.
It's not about money.
However, the more money we take on, the more we can do in the community.
The more shops I can open.
Because if I've got a good chunk of money that's coming in every month, I can open another shop with ease.
We need a lot more customers and a lot more footfall because our donations are going over triple now.
And we need to keep them down.
And I did promise you, I said the more footfall we get, the more donations we get.
Because obviously with the increased footfall, you get increased donations.
We're also getting quite a lot of donations from businesses now.
I've had two donations from businesses this week.
Furniture and things like that.
I don't name them at the moment because you know the haters are like...
But we need more footfall because obviously we've already got an increase in donations.
And with the footfall that's coming in, it's going to be more.
Now I did promise you, the more footfall we get, the more I can bring the price down.
Which I have.
So instead of the £5 clause being £2.50, then being £1, then now £3 for £1 on the adults clause.
There is no other charity shop that's doing adult clause.
The condition that we've got for £33p.
I've also done the same with the babies and the children's clause.
£33p.
£3 for £1.
The more footfall you can get us, because obviously you've got this little bunch of haters on the side that are running their own charities, which are obviously putting the boot in because we're making them look really bad.
Because we're giving all the food away for free, we give our pet food away for free, we do this, we do that, we do the nappies, we do this.
We set up the... I mean how many of those charities and organisations this year charged for Santa?
Quite a few of them are still charging for Santa.
You know, it's exploiting children.
We don't.
It's free.
And there's lots of other stuff that we want to get, you know, we want to rock and roll with now in the new year.
Okay, like we want to get the Mum's Craft Club up, which is going to be free.
We want to get the Lego Club up.
I've got enough Lego Club now to have a club in Pontypool and the donation centre.
I'm a teaching level 3 already.
I want a teaching level 3 or an NNEB or a teacher to come in and run the Lego Club in one of the other places.
Okay, so one in Blackwood Valley or Caerphilly Valley and then one in Torfaen Valley.
If you're training, you can help out, but you have to be qualified.
I'd rather a qualified person to run the clubs.
Even if that comes at our expense, you know, because the only one I can run, and I can't run them all, can I?
And they'll be multiple a night.
So you'll have one and then maybe two back-to-back.
So one hour there, one hour there.
That's what I wanted to do.
And then we know then for a fact that if the mothers leave the children there for an hour, or if they go shopping in the shop, which you'll be able to, when the shops are shut and the Lego Club is on, that your children are with a qualified member of staff.
They'll have their first day, they'll have everything, and they'll also have a rolling DBS check because they're in the education system.
So yeah, we've got lots to do.
So that's what I'm appealing to you again.
You've already done it because we are already getting new customers in and they're coming in.
They go, I didn't even know you were here.
Oh, I thought you were just a baby shop.
Oh, this is brilliant.
A guy came in yesterday, bought a vintage lad in, on a PC game.
It was something else.
Oh, he was chuffed.
He was chuffed he was still here when he came in.
He had it for a tenner.
He said, that's a bargain.
Thank you very much.
And he was well chuffed.
And then we had another young lad that came in the other week to buy a DVD.
And we were card only, so we said we were card only, sorry.
So he went and got somebody and they paid by card for him.
And then he's come back this week with two bags full of donations.
And that was a new customer from last week.
So as you can imagine, we're taking on a lot of donations.
We need the footfall now to get them down.
The more people I can get in the shop, the more customers we can get.
And I want you to do it by word of mouth.
I want you to say, no, don't listen to them over there.
This is what Jayne does.
This is what they do.
They rescue all this stuff.
They don't just rescue it.
They repair it.
They wash it.
They clean it.
They fix it.
And they put it back out, you know, for somebody to have at a decent price.
And then don't just put a decent price because they're on 50% off or they do deals and offers like no other charity shop could match.
Okay, so this is what I want you guys to do now.
And like I said, the more we can do, the more we get in, the more donations we're going to get, the more we're going to sell, which means I can do it cheaper and cheaper.
So thank you guys.
And don't forget to put in the comments down below what's your favourite sandwich or what's your Subway McBang.
