Oh, morning, guys.
I'm running late, but my leg is a lot better.
I have a trapped nerve in this leg here.
With my bad knees.
The knee was alright, it was the trapped nerve that was horrendous.
I was crying in pain.
I've been like it for a couple of days, so...
about four or five days at least, just being able to possibly be out again.
But it's much better now.
Thank you to Chloe and Dan for doing the painting.
And last night to keep us on track.
Because, you know, the last thing we want to do now is be behind the week in risk of phase two.
So I just wanted to do a video to urge our mothers...
I don't want this to be... I told you it's not a video.
Urge our mothers to get their flood defences in preparation for the next morning, okay?
If you've had a yellow and a red warning off the council, yeah, then you need to be prepared for flooding.
You live in Wales, it's been raining since the donor time, yeah?
So you're fully aware that it's going to get flooded.
Especially if you're on a level like this with a drain.
So I don't want it to be a I told you video.
I want it to be an advice video to say you need to ring the council.
Get sandbags in place.
We had sandbags out.
And we're up a drive.
But there's nothing saying that a house further up the street wouldn't get flooded.
You know, or all the shops were in place.
Everything was in place.
Frictive from it coming in from doorways.
Can't do much if it comes in from the top.
But you need to ring the councils today.
And you need to ask them what their flood advice is.
And if you're on a street this level with a drain.
You need to be putting sandbags out if you've got a yellow or red warning.
Okay?
You need to have door barriers as well.
You can make them out of... not MDF.
What's the other board?
Chipboard is better.
Not chipboard.
The other one.
Oh, here it comes to me.
Which one?
But you need a door board.
Front and back of the door.
And you need sandbags.
You know, these things could be kept under your stairs, couldn't they?
Until you have a... have a never warning.
But you know this.
You live in Wales.
It's going to flood.
So yeah, we'll see if we can get some videos up on how best to flood.
Because flooding can come up through your toilet and your drains as well.
Which is more the nicest.
And there is devices and contractions you can buy to go in your toilet as well.
All expense, we know that.
We're here today for any mothers that have been affected by it.
Give us a message.
We're not going to be able to deliver.
Unfortunately, we can have someone else collect clothes or whatever you need.
But it'll be a one-off to do that.
But we are available to give people a hand.
So yes, I'm a bit late for coming in but my leg is a lot better.
And the hangers are blue and red.
For phase two.
See if we've got bits.
And this is what happens here.
Is that this would very unlikely flood.
Even though there's drains, it would very unlikely flood because it's down here.
However, it's when the debris builds up.
That's when it could flood.
You see.
But we need to have these things in place.
It's no good waiting until after the event for it to happen.
So please let this be a warning to everybody now.
That...
We need to get these things in place, guys.
We're lucky we haven't had any damage.
So that's good.
Thank you to the volunteers and everybody who's been helping me out.
Oh yeah, you alright?
Yeah, yeah, it just opened up.
