So how are you guys?
We are offering out help to mothers today.
We have already had some mothers in.
They are in temporary accommodation or they are in hotels at the moment.
But they can only grab what they can grab at that time and go.
So we have had mothers in and we are offering out support to anybody with children under 18.
However, when we have posted it on the Risca groups, we are having a boost off the Risca groups friends and their fake profiles and all the rest of it on the posts.
So we have had to turn off the commenting.
So anybody who is struggling in Risca, we are here to help.
Our little shop is closed anyway because we are short on staff and we are just using it for storage at the moment.
However, it doesn't mean that you can collect stuff from our house because I can bring stuff home from Pontypool.
One thing that we have got is we have got a monopoly of stock in all of our shops.
So that we can help with a lot of things.
There is other things that are going to be long term that families need like sofas.
And we have got space to store them.
We have got space to store them.
They are going to need rugs, carpets, any type of flooring.
They are going to need sandbags.
So if anybody has got space, sandbags.
Because we are going to urge our mothers to keep these sandbags now in their homes ready under their stairs for the next warnings.
To try and educate people on how to prepare for a flood in the future.
Hopefully it will never happen.
So we are having resistance off the risk of groups.
We know who it is.
It is the pantry.
You know what they are like.
It is Tara Holloway and her little gang.
Selling people not to donate to us.
Not to give stuff.
One of them tried selling a washing machine on our post.
I got a washing machine for sale.
It is like really guys, people have flooded out and we are offering our washing machines.
My personal washing machine.
My mother's.
I am quite sure our volunteers will help as well.
And it is like really you are trying to sell a washing machine on our post.
So I just want everybody to be fully aware that the risk of groups are trying to stop us from helping people in that area.
We are more than equipped to help people.
More than qualified to help people in this situation.
As I have proved time and time again.
Oh, I forgot.
Hang on.
She has painted this floor, hasn't she?
I can smell it.
This one will fill me.
They will fill me before these paints.
We are more than qualified and equipped to help people.
And like I said.
Again, give them enough rope.
They will all hang themselves.
She has painted this.
It looks a lot better doesn't it?
Didn't get to paint that bit.
Right, that is okay.
I don't think they are coming over tonight.
They are having a night off.
Because it took them so long to get home yesterday.
Because of all the road closures.
It took me forever.
We have got an extra note to three for you to be hung up.
And he has painted this.
So he is going to need another coat.
Stick on my cage.
So don't put anything back guys.
Because we need this now to be painted.
So if you are in tomorrow, don't put anything back against these walls.
Keep it out please.
And then I want to try and paint this bit.
So you can get it on the floor.
So you can get your rails back.
And put them in.
But this will be our baby section.
Our 50p baby section.
So I think he is going to have to unscrew the cage.
To paint that.
But he looks nice.
Nice colour blue.
It is definitely our colour blue isn't it?
So I am not open down here this morning.
But I am open upstairs.
So yeah, I think he looks nice.
It is the time again to have a coat on there now.
And he is going to paint the wall the same colour blue.
This has got to come off Dan.
I have got to go.
Yeah, I think it will look nice doesn't it?
Look nice.
And then we have hoovered the floor.
And bleached the floor yesterday there.
Still a bit in that corner I think.
A bit dusty there.
And then we are going to get the varnish on the floor by here.
And then we should be able to push the rails over there.
And then we will work it out.
The floor.
Bit by bit.
We will do a patch there.
So you can still access this part of the shop.
And vice versa.
But yeah, I just want you all to be aware guys.
That we are going above and beyond to try and help people again.
And it is the Risca Group.
That are trying to stop us helping families in Risca.
And we are here to help the families in Risca.
Okay, so if you see any posts.
Screenshot them and let us know.
Because the police are still investigating them over the website.
And...
We can pass that on to the police.
They have now tried to stop us from helping people in the Risca area.
So there we are.
There we are.
We knew that was going to happen.
We knew that was going to happen.
They are not that well liked in the Risca area.
That is why they don't want us down there.
Because we are well liked.
I am going to use my stool up to get across.
Of course when you only have one leg.
That is useful.
I can't get off now.
Hang on.
One leg that works.
It is not very good, is it?
But yes, we are getting there slowly now.
Guys, down here.
I will knock that light off for a minute.
And then we will be upstairs.
I need some more rails.
I am actually out of rails.
And I always keep rails in...
I always keep rails back.
Just in case we have a sharp overnight.
We will put them there as well.
The shoes.
So they will all be 250 those shoes.
This we are keeping clear now.
Because you need to get around your prams.
Lovely, lovely, lovely.
And then back up here.
I couldn't even do these steps here.
But they are dreadful.
Definitely need stay lifts.
Definitely.
To take the pressure off my leg.
And then any customers that want to come down.
They can come down on the stay lift.
Can't they?
I am going to go round the other way.
So yes.
Getting there slowly.
Done quite a bit yesterday.
Daniel secured the...
The pull out.
I can't remember what it is called.
For outside.
So that is good.
We haven't used it yet.
And what else is there?
Oh he fixed Santa.
Well he is not quite fixed.
But he is fixedish.
So he looks a lot better.
So...
Yes, like I said.
We have got tons of coins here.
To help people in Risca.
You know, help people across South Wales.
We have got tons here.
And we will get more in.
And one thing we have got.
Is space.
And the shop is big enough.
To store stuff.
When they moved out to tent accommodation.
So yes.
Drop it off guys.
Paint.
Anything you can think of.
Because a lot of people are going to be moved out.
And they are going to have to decorate and everything.
It is not clean water.
So we have already had some bags in.
And we have already had some stuff go out this morning.
To help people.
