Hey guys, I'm in Blackwood today because I've got some DIY to do over at Pontypool.
So I'm just sorting out some bits like that will go in the bag with the receipts now from my mother because they'll clean the jewellery.
They clean it all and then they put it on a little card.
So that's how we know it's cleaned and we can hang it up then.
Add some records in.
So I'm going through them.
I've got to get a little bubble wrap so I can have a carry around with me.
So I've just been having a quick sort out by year.
Where's the records I bought in then?
Because I bought in a pail of records.
What have we done with them?
Because they were proper vintage ones.
If they put them now... I'll have to have a look for them.
We've got loads of nappies in guys.
That's nice isn't it?
So we've been putting a few alarm tags on.
We've got some sticky ones now as well because we still had a few go.
We've got loads of clothes guys but I'm not worried too much about the clothes because we're going to be setting up Pontypool phase two now.
Soon as I get the hangers back we'll be setting that up.
So yeah we've been busy.
We just had a lady in now.
We're talking about one of the charity shop places.
She didn't really know what the difference was with us.
So like I said we are a not-for-profit business and I choose not to take a wage because I'd rather see the money going into people.
This is where I get my benefits from is rescuing all of this I'm not interested in the cash side of it whatsoever.
So like I said that this is why the charity shop places are here because they've got to pay management wages.
They've got to have a second in line just in case the manager is sick.
They've got to have a relief manager that floats around.
Plus you've got to pay for the alien manager's company car and all the rest of it.
Whereas I pay for my own car and then we'll be getting a lot bigger more in there I reckon.
I'll either put some back in or we'll bring some more bags up next time we're down the donation centre.
But as I said all of... oh he's cute isn't he?
Oh he's cute.
But as I said you know we are not-for-profit business.
Oh yeah are you all right?
It's all 50% off.
I was hoping this was going to be a bit clearer.
We've got so much stock and I've got so much to come up from the warehouse.
Do it half price isn't it?
So yeah.
So I've got some dresses on here, prom dresses.
There'll be five today guys.
So yeah we're a not-for-profit business so it all goes back into our food bank.
Nappy's running the shops, running courses for people to do training.
It's a nice one isn't it?
Oh he just gently said he couldn't get the radio back in.
I'm not watching a bit now.
So yeah that's a bit clearer up there too.
We can see where things have sold because there's quite a few gaps now isn't there?
Some up there as well.
Still a lot of stock at Blackwell but there we are.
We're still getting rid of the remnants of Big Risk I see.
Now we're actually cherry picking while we put it in there.
But what I don't want to be doing is taking carfuls of stuff in and out all the time.
It's a nuisance.
You know it's exhausting carrying these all the time.
So we just let it whittle down in here now and then something's gone from up there.
Teddy's one of our top sellers.
Teddy's our guys.
Yeah so hopefully now we can start to space it out a bit more.
Lampshares.
I could start a lampshade shop.
I don't know what's going on there.
I guess we'll start a lighting shop overnight.
I'll try and go slowly so you can see where we go.
I do need a tide yet.
Perhaps we'll come up and blitz it this week.
A couple other stuff.
Just because obviously stuff have been moved now and there's more stuff to be unearthed isn't there?
Like eventually I want all our nice tea sets and stuff out here.
But at the moment we've still got a few odds and bits and bobs you know to get rid of.
Here's going with some stuff today.
We've put less of the bags out.
Now don't forget they're not going to be the three pound bags anymore in Blackwood.
It'll be all the best ones all right.
Oh I love that one.
That one's nice.
But then half price because we've got so much.
Shall we give it back to you at half price?
We don't store it up and keep it.
Books.
Might do a deal on books this week for our book fans because I got ten in the donation centre and I'm getting offered loads from these libraries.
That's the travel cart of doom.
Might skim that off.
Take it to Pontypool.
I don't want to overcrowd them either see.
We need to have a shop don't we guys.
That's what we need.
Never shop now.
We're on an even keel.
That's what I keep telling myself.
DVDs have gone right down.
You might think oh no that's millions.
That is not millions.
That is probably a quarter of what we had before.
Literally a quarter.
So I haven't done much this morning.
I've been sat there looking at my labels.
I knew I had stuff to label.
They're nice.
I think Chloe brought them in.
People will be dressing up now for the new year I expect.
I don't know.
Where's the policeman gone?
He's going the door up.
The policeman.
I love this.
I wish you were fitting me.
Couple of Reeves left.
Can't believe Michael's still here.
Oh I love that he used this idea.
Daniel.
Sort of my idea but Daniel executed it.
I love them in the windows.
We were going to have them painted but then we'd have to move all of the stuff out.
