Morning, baby bankers.
I think there's some sort of croissant market going on today.
The weather's not really with us today, is it?
We'll pull out there.
Dreadful.
Right, so I just wanted to reiterate again.
Okay, this is a shop.
This is a high street.
Okay?
It's got shop in the name of the title.
Yeah?
Now, we're very lucky because the council subsidised our rates.
Okay?
Because you are good recyclers and everything that we do is not for profit.
Okay?
So, the way it works is if you own a shop, okay, you either get a designated bin or designated bags, a designated area to put your rubbish out.
Okay?
So, we put the rubbish out.
On the high street shops, the rubbish is collected every day.
I'm very lucky in Blackwood.
I've actually got a bin man that comes with it.
That's how posh Blackwood is.
Okay, so the lady in the flat up there has made a complaint about our rubbish.
Okay?
We are entitled to put our rubbish out as part of our business rates to be collected by the council.
So, please can you stop stoking my bin?
Now, the council and the police have decided, they decided this last year, that they were going to start telling us who was making complaints about us because we have the right to make a complaint against them.
So, two complaints are harassment.
Any more than two could be classed as malicious.
Okay?
It is a chargeable offence and malicious communication does carry a prison sentence.
So, can you please be very mindful about the fake complaints you're making about us?
Okay?
Because we are going to pursue it.
Okay?
We're pursuing one with the council now.
And I will be pursuing this one.
So, here we are.
We've got a lovely market out this morning.
So...
Morning.
Hiya, lovely.
How are you?
Lovely vintage cars.
Your left this morning.
Lovely.
Next one is from the states.
It will just be released on this side as well.
Oh, I'll have a look now.
I've got Wednesday there from the Young's family.
Oh, lovely.
That's a nice one, isn't it?
Ready for Christmas.
No bad prices, guys, either.
For vintage items.
Lovely.
Oh, I hope it's blooming.
It stops raining.
Because it's not looking good, is it, today?
We like to put stuff outside the front of the shops, here.
It sells quicker, then.
But when it's like this, it's a nightmare.
So, shall we have a look?
Let's go round.
There was a few stalls on the Indomarket.
Oh, guys, I noticed.
Oh, lovely.
The skulls are nice, aren't they?
Oh, and the pumpkins.
I like the pumpkin house.
Anything to do with pumpkins, for us guys, is flying out the door.
And Christmas outfits.
So, make sure you're picking them up as soon as possible.
Because I don't think we're going to have fancy dress...
Oh, look at these.
Fancy dress outfits and things back.
I'll try and get the signs in, as well, guys.
And then you can see...
...what we're up to, then.
All Halloween baby stuff, look.
Lovely.
What a big pot, now.
I just noticed that.
What have we got here, now?
Oh, something smells nice.
I can smell something nice.
Sure, dragons are nice, aren't they?
Oh, and the Christmas villagers.
They're nice.
Oh, crystals.
That's a nice dish for crystals, isn't it?
Lovely.
Sorry.
Let's have a look, isn't it?
Oh, and the little animals.
And the skulls.
I like the skulls.
I think I've got a pyramid in the house, guys.
Oh, I tell you what I do like.
It's the pumpkins.
Look at them.
I do like them.
Oh, and the little signs, eh, guys?
Oh, I need that.
Like, broomstick parking only.
Yeah.
Right, so I'm probably going to have food stores.
They're still setting up.
I might have to come back down.
And have a look.
Don't forget, we're doing free autumn drinks.
I'm waiting on the syrup to come.
It should have come last night.
Oh, I wondered why they were blowing up balloons, yesterday.
Pony stretchers.
Mmm, nice things.
Are there your tablecloths right there?
Oh, it's nice, the one in there.
So what are they doing?
A complete refreshing service.
Baking an egg roll.
Pop down and support them today, guys.
Nobody wants to work in the rain like this, do they?
So pop down and see them.
And remind all your friends not to make complaints about us, because if you do, we're going to be pursuing it
with the correct authorities now.
Oh, look at these wooden items today, now, yeah.
There's a lady's sign.
We've got a shop up round the corner we have, so we always do the market.
Oh, nice.
When there's something on, yeah.
Dragons are lovely.
Yeah, because we'll tell our families then to come over because there's something on, see.
Because it's not just out here, it's in the indoor market as well, isn't it?
Well, that's what it's all about today in retail in there.
Nobody's going to come in on a white horse and save us.
There we are.
What have we got by here now?
Haven't you just noticed how big the pots are?
Oh, jewellery.
Nice.
Yeah, lovely.
I've always wanted a crystal shop.
So far I've got one counter in Blackwood and that's it.
I'm hoping to get one in Pontypool as well.
It's just we've had so much to do and you know what, it's like something else.
Oh, that's what we can smell, guys.
Oh, they're nice.
Lovely.
Oh, look at those reed diffusers.
Lovely, guys.
Lovely.
Oh, it's nice.
It'll be busy today.
It's always busy over here.
Whenever they've got something on, in all fairness.
Cookies and coal by here.
Just setting out.
And then they've got some lovely looking cakes here.
Just smashed my face into the armour.
Lovely.
They're nice, aren't they?
Those round ones.
Lovely pasties.
All the rest of it, lovely.
I'll pop down a bit later perhaps and see if anybody else pulls up.
Because sometimes it's right the way down there.
But pop over and see them today, guys.
The rain is awful.
So we can do you tea and coffee today.
Yesterday it was too busy.
We had so many donations in.
Again, it was unreal.
Which is brilliant, thank you.
Daniel's the same.
I've got to go up there Monday.
I said leave him up there.
Don't take him down to the donation centre because that's full.
To Price in Blackwood.
I'm going to go into Poundland now.
See if they've got my favourite Pepsi Max.
Keep me going.
And I'll pull on my intravenous drip.
Lots of people went up to a pound shop.
Lots of people have taken advantage of that.
I've put the new posters in the windows.
Probably won't be able to have much out the front.
We have got some mannequin bits and body parts that we don't want.
Because their arms come off and things are a nuisance.
I'm going to put them out the front.
Ideal for Halloween.
If you're looking to spray them or do things with them.
They're only a couple of quid.
Might put them out because they won't get damaged today.
They're plastic.
Don't forget the indoor market.
They've got stalls as well.
So I think there was only...
I went in there but there was only one lady who sat up.
So I'll go in there now because we've all got to help each other.
There's a lot of small businesses that support us.
And just a shout out from a slightly bigger company.
Not a big company but a slightly bigger one.
Helps everybody.
Don't forget, I've got one lady interested.
But we want her open six days a week.
So I need maybe two more.
So yeah, this lady is here today as well.
Just doing the small business as we are.
No problem.
There we are.
We've got a shop down by there.
So good, aren't they?
They're nice, aren't they?
They're intricate, aren't they, these?
I've seen ones like that.
Oh, the fidgets.
Oh, you can move them, can't you?
Oh, they're lovely, aren't they?
Ideal now for stocking for us.
And look, a stitch over there.
In our colours.
Show our followers now, see?
Lovely, thank you very much.
And for Halloween, guys.
And the gargoyles.
Oh yes, didn't see them.
Oh, and that's like for a book or a phone.
Yes, that's right.
Fabulous.
Brilliant.
Oh, I hope you have a good day, guys.
Thank you very much.
And you?
This is a new one, you guys.
They're already in the market.
So they're collecting.
I think they donate part of it to the the guide dog.
But I haven't seen any other stores set up as yet.
But like I said, it's always good, isn't it?
If you're doing well, promote somebody else.
Don't bring them down, you know?
Or someone coming out with glasses.
There we are.
So yeah, all of this will be set up now.
That's why we put the flags up, look.
Because they've got them all up here.
What's that?
What's the Ponty pool?
Where did they get that personalised one?
I want one saying volunteers needed.
For the shops.
So I'm going to go now and get my Pepsi Max so that I can get our Pepsi Max so that I can So this lady looks like she's got knitted items there.
Oh lovely, yeah.
It's worth popping all the guys to Ponty pool when they do a market like this.
Because they usually have loads of stuff on for the children.
And don't buy a drink from Greg's.
Come to our shop.
Yeah, and we'll do it.
And hopefully by next week we'll have the caramel and... was it pumpkin spice?
I'm not a fan of the pumpkin spice, but I know other people are.
So I thought, will I get that?
Right.
I'm going to go and see if I've got Pepsi Max.
