Right, so.
I've hung quite a bit up.
But I feel people whining about us saying we're going to instant dismissal and you'll be charged if you make a mess like this again.
It's taken me nearly all day to do this.
If there's any of my house clearance boys out there, can you write the price of how much you would have charged me as a customer to have cleared this room?
And cleaned it as well because it needs cleaning obviously.
So can you let me know exactly why you were to charge because we've lost nearly £100 in fundraising by having to do this and I've had to do it four times since we've had volunteers here.
And the volunteers concerned have gone.
Okay?
Because we won't put up with stuff like this.
And like somebody said, one of our other followers has said, it's actually a fire hazard and a tripping hazard.
Yeah, it is.
And I've had to risk my life today to come up here to come and clean it up.
Me and Dan have.
How difficult is it to keep stuff like this tidy?
How difficult is it?
It's not, is it?
It's taken me a day to get it to this stage.
It's just people just coming to the top of the stairs, chucking stuff, chucking stuff.
We don't want volunteers like that.
We want volunteers that are going to comply with health and safety.
We don't want lazy people who just chuck stuff everywhere.
We don't want people who nick from the tills.
We don't want people like that.
Anyway, trying to figure out now.
We've got three, I think, three mannequin tops downstairs.
So it might be that these are the bottoms.
If you haven't got one, you can just have a pair of trousers on there.
We haven't got to have a top.
I might leave this up here just in case anybody would put a price on it.
Just in case anybody is doing any work up here.
Sometimes you need a desk to work off, don't you?
We've got one of the roll baskets up here.
But I can get at least another three.
I don't want any rails up against the wall, see, because the walls are still drying out.
So I can get another three long rails up here.
You know, could get at least two down there.
About 50 if I tried.
So I'm pleased that we managed to do it today.
But like I said, I'm at least a day or two behind now because I wanted to sort the walls today.
We don't want volunteers that are going to make more work for other volunteers than myself.
It's as simple as that.
And I've got no qualms of getting rid of people.
Whatsoever, we've lost eight since we've gone to card only.
Don't know see how low that is down there.
Remember I said I might need to put a... yeah, I might need to put a mind your head.
Mind your head sign there.
Might need to order one of them.
We've got a fire escape one.
So that's good.
That one we'll have to cover because that isn't a fire escape that's going into the next building.
Because they were all connected years ago.
This used to be the men's department of a great big boutique shop.
A bit like Debenhams and Howells.
I can't remember what it's called.
Can anybody remember what it was called?
But yeah, like I said, you know, we don't want volunteers that are going to make a mess like this.
It's been hard work today.
Dan's been up and down last days about 150 times today.
There's no way I could have done that.
Luckily I had him here with me today.
So tomorrow Pontypool and Blackwood will be open.
And then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, it'll be Pontypool, Risca and Blackwood open.
Bear with us because like I said, we've got a great staff since the card readers come in.
Some bolted as soon as they come in.
I'm happy with that because you know, we don't want people that are not happy with us having card readers.
So yeah, the staff, we've got some new staff that want to come on board.
And that's brilliant.
And they're more than happy to use the card readers.
And they've obviously, they've seen the mess that's been left for us to deal with again.
And it was in gesture.
I've been here for weeks in Pontypool shop cleaning up.
I don't think you realise the amount of work that we have to put in to get things like this tidy.
You know, and to comply with health and safety.
Perhaps we make it look easy perhaps.
So that's all the anger we've got left I think.
And maybe a bag or two downstairs.
So I just use any old anger up here.
I know we said we were having an anger call, but because this is going to be the pound stuff, I just use any old anger just to get it up.
So because I don't want it like boxes and bags of it everywhere.
Needs to be tidy up here.
I don't know, we need to keep them.
That could be built.
Need to keep a couple of the spare belts.
But also my Santa, because he's quite big, the one I had off Paul and Julie.
I'll just maybe put him up here and say right on him.
He's not for sale because he's for Christmas.
The blow up one that goes in the window.
He's lovely last year.
Everybody wanted him.
Nope.
It's lovely isn't it?
So I don't think it's going to take too long.
We've sold some of the big stuff out the front today.
I think we can, I think we'll get it tidy today.
But then obviously we've got the big job of sorting because all that's got to be cleaned off now.
It's lovely and dry.
Luke and Dave just come up here now.
They said what a difference from when they first been in the shops.
You know, we've done that.
It's a testament to the volunteers.
Kept the windows open and done everything and kept it circulating in there.
But yeah, like I just say, we don't want volunteers that are going to make messes like this for us to clean up.
I don't want anybody like that.
That isn't down to training.
That's laziness.
And I don't want any volunteers that are not happy with us using card readers either.
Or ones that waste our time.
So it's at least eight that's gone that we've got shot of.
Nine, I think, because we got shot with somebody else that was just turning up for 20 minutes.
We were like, oh, bye.
