Alright, so I'm downstairs in Pontypool.
Guys, don't forget we've got a downstairs in Pontypool.
Sometimes we put something across the stairs if we've got little ones in, with their mums helping.
Or if we've got a lot of little ones in the shop, we put the big picture across to stop them from coming downstairs.
Right?
But we can't put a gate on it because it's fire risk.
But downstairs, if you ever want to come downstairs, just ask the staff.
Okay, I want to try and get this room cleared.
I don't know what's in here, to be honest.
Unless they're the odd shoes.
We need an odd shoe day.
Well, they're not odd, are they?
I don't think you can come straight out.
If they're a pair, bring them straight out.
Because somebody will say, well, I've been looking for a pair of them.
So I don't know what's in here.
Might be some Christmas stuff.
But I want to get this lot out anyway, because piles of stuff like this does my head in.
Right?
What I want... What is that thing?
Oh, it's holding the door open, isn't it?
What I want is this area shoppable as well.
I don't want any areas cordoned off of stock.
Okay, because every single square foot is at a premium today, and we're going to bloody use it.
Right?
So I don't want any of that being staff only.
The door will be open and people can go in there if they want.
There's tons of space there.
Same with the cupboards.
If you need to back stock stuff in the cupboards, that's fine.
What I want to do is, if we don't have things like clothes in there, put stuff like this in there, right, priced, and then people can still look in the cupboards.
Okay.
So yeah, come and give it a wipe down.
I couldn't get up there.
My knee was so bad the other day.
I had to stop about by here.
This has all been wiped down.
We'll have a move around down here, because you need to be able to get to the selfie wall, because that's the only point in having a selfie wall.
We'll be here Sunday anyway, for the duration, I think.
We've got lots to do.
My knee is quite bad, so I'm struggling with the stairs.
So, if you're not sure, bring something up.
None of the furniture is for sale.
I might have to pop up to the... what did I put there that I sold?
Something I sold?
I might have to pop up to the marketplace for the loo, because I'm struggling with the stairs.
So if I've got to go to the loo, I think it's going to be a marketplace job for me, unfortunately, today.
My knee is painful.
Run over that, look.
I can't get it off.
Oh, I got it.
It's painful, but I think it's going to be okay.
I think it's going to be okay.
I think we're going to be alright with it.
I've got something stuck to my foot now.
So I think we've got room to get this rail up as well.
But I don't want downstairs cordoned off.
I want customers to be able to come downstairs.
And the plan is, I want upstairs open before Christmas.
That's why I've been trying it out.
So, oh, I'm struggling now, see.
It's painful on the kneecap now.
The joints, like, and where the injection went in.
Fingers crossed.
Fingers crossed.
Yeah, so if you come in to Pontypool, right?
There is a downstairs.
This is why I took the shop on, because it's the size of it.
I could see how much stock we could get.
If it's like that, ask, can you go down?
They only do it because of the lit lens, okay?
Just in case any lit lens run down.
Oh, crumbs.
I'm on my own, I think, today, so there's no lit lens in it.
Or if we've got a lot of lit lens in the playroom, we'll put that across.
So there we are, tons of toys again.
They are going down, though.
I was a bit worried the other week.
I thought, oh, they're not moving, but they are.
They are going.
Because we couldn't get all of that on the shelves, so they're definitely going.
There's my office.
Apparently it comes in blue.
We might need to have a blue one.
Can we get a blue one in that corner?
They take up a lot of room, see.
They might do.
Oh, yeah, so it's painful.
I can't put a lot of weight on it.
I love that cushion.
I'm going to put these down to 99 in here.
I think we'll have a look for some 99 stickers today, guys.
I will and stick them on them.
This one, I don't know, two pounds, three pounds, I don't know.
The clothes are looking nice and tidy.
Fairies have been in.
We need fairies, definitely need fairies.
The books have gone down because that was in one of those massive roller crates, which is double the size of that.
So we've sold half and a bit, at least, of books.
Not to mention what's gone off the shelf.
I've told them to put Christmas out.
I put them there.
I couldn't take them downstairs.
So hopefully we'll be able to, when we come in Sunday now, because the weather's not looking too good, we'll be able to sort them out.
So these are the new clothes in.
I've gone through them.
Myself.
Everyone I've checked.
So they're up for five, but they will be 250.
Because they are half price sale.
Now...
I think we've got three prams over here now.
Because another lady brought in a pram.
That's a full set.
Was it Leanne?
Did you message me?
I'm sure you messaged me, Leanne.
About a pram.
So yeah, the plan is now...
Let's get that space open.
We've worked hard to dry that place out up there.
We've worked hard since we got here to...
renovate this shop.
I don't know what we're going to put up there.
Probably clothes.
Something that's easy to carry.
We'll get a load of stuff up there.
We'll get the gate back.
We've already put the two rails on.
I know that from when we first started.
If you've got stairs, you've got to have two rails for customers.
So we put the rails up there straight away.
And on the other shop.
And on the other stairs.
Straight away.
That's what we learnt as we go along.
We learn stuff.
So yeah, I'm going to get some stuff out the front now.
Because the sun will come out a bit.
But Sunday the weather is not looking too good.
And a lot of the car boots have cancelled.
So that's usually a good sign the weather is rubbish.
I don't want to go to the donation centre.
I want to come here.
Daniel's got a few jobs to get done.
Downstairs.
We've got to put a new hinge on the door.
And things like that.
So there's some stuff that needs doing.
And...
Yeah.
There's some bits that I need doing.
But I need him to lift if you know what I mean.
Because of my knee and everything else.
Oh I add my blood results from the doctors guys.
If you're interested.
They are low quite a bit.
So I might have to go in for a transfusion.
But they let me know.
The trouble is.
If they book you in for one.
You've got to go in in like nine to five hours.
Whereas if they take you in.
They'll just do it.
So it means I'll have to go in during the day.
I'm like oh don't you do a night shift?
Can't I come in on a night shift?
Because you haven't got to have a bed see for a transfusion.
You can sit in one of the chairs.
The comfy chairs.
I'm happy to sit in a comfy chair.
As long as I can put my leg up.
And then I want to go through these.
Because I think it looks scruffy with all them up there.
So I want to go through them.
But we haven't got room to put them on the five pound rail yet.
So.
Unless it's brand new with tags.
It'll be £2.50 today.
Because I want them gone.
So that's my plan today.
If I put my stick down somewhere.
And then obviously we've got the filler bag.
Still bad today see.
Fingers crossed now by Saturday we'll be alright.
These are filler bag.
For a fiver I don't forget.
Because we want them gone now.
So I'm going to get my phone on charge.
And start getting our stuff out.
