Oh, it's evening guys.
Thank you to all our customers.
We've had new customers in as well today now.
It's been brilliant.
We've given out free books to children, free parcels.
We've got a lady coming in for 0-12 bundle next week.
We've had a really good day.
They've had a good day in Blackwood too.
I'm down to one leg.
Right?
I'm at that stage now where I'm not going to be having the steroid injection until Thursday.
Next Thursday, doctors brought it forward, thank God.
But I can't walk.
I can't walk and I can't drive.
So I'm down to one leg and no car.
Okay?
I'm not going to be able to drive next week.
So anybody we've arranged to pick up or the rest of it, I'm not going to be able to do it.
Okay?
So I'm really struggling now.
So like when we have volunteers we pick up and take home, I'm not going to be able to do that either.
We're going to have to have a re-jig around the shops because I need to be closer because Dan's going to have to drop me off.
So Tuesday, my knee... I'll have the injection but it might not kick in until about Saturday.
So definitely Saturday, Sunday to next Saturday.
I'm down to one leg and I can't drive.
I just... I'm in so much pain.
My family had to come and rescue me tonight and bring the car home because I couldn't do it.
It's horrendous.
It's really bad.
It feels like my leg broke.
It's just awful.
So that's where I'm at.
And like I don't want to be adding to pain relief because I'm already on morphine and it's not touching it.
So if I had to double that and put other medication with it, I'd be like a zombie.
So I don't want to be doing that.
Hello Reggie Roo.
Come to see us.
Hello Reggie Roo.
Hello.
Hello.
It usually comes in when I turn the ignition off.
But it's just... even waiting in traffic now was just awful tonight.
It was dreadful.
So I had to be rescued from risk at night because as far as I got, dropping off Alison and they had to come and get me and get the car because I just couldn't drive it anymore.
So that's where I'm at.
So thank you to all the volunteers because like Alison was taking stuff up and down stairs today and running stuff back and forth.
And I know the volunteers are picking up jobs that I might do.
But I'm not going to be able to do things like late night shopping or anything.
I don't think because it's just... I'm just in agony with it.
What I'm going to do in the next one ways off, I don't know.
I've got to go and have a knee x-ray.
The surgeon have asked for a knee x-ray.
So fingers crossed.
If he rings tonight and says you're in in the morning, I'm gone.
Let's go and get it done in there because I can't function like this.
It drives me insane because I've got to keep busy.
So this is going to drive me nuts now next week.
But yeah, we've had loads of people in.
Brilliant.
We saw loads of stuff from outside.
Pontypool today.
That was great.
Stuff that we wanted gone.
There's loads of new clothes out over Pontypool, guys.
They had about three new bags they put out in Blackwood as well.
So there's loads of new stocking.
And then we got our offers.
Don't forget our offers we got on.
We're doing the mums spend £10.
And then they can get up £5 of 50 pounds children clothes for free to help us with the stock levels.
That's why we do fill a bag for a fiver and all the rest of it.
But I am struggling at the moment and Jan is unwell as well.
So if you can wish her a speedy recovery, that'd be great.
I had luck how much it was abroad to have your knee done.
But you're looking at about £7,000 in Turkey and places like that to have a knee.
Which is a lot isn't it?
I thought I wonder if they did it cheaper.
Because that's where I was at last week.
I was like oh god I don't care who does it.
But it was about £7,000 to have it done.
So I think that's out my price range unfortunately.
But the problem I got is the other knee needs doing.
So the other knee is compensating now for this knee.
So I don't know.
And other people have said to me once you've had the next steroid injection it doesn't last as long.
Give up.
Give up with it.
Oh here's another one.
Princey Wincy.
There she is.
Princess.
Hello Princess.
Oh where's your collar Princess?
Oh here they are.
Reggie Root and Princess.
Come to see us.
These are our rescues.
This one's off her family in Manchester.
And this one was off her family in Romney.
They couldn't take care of them anymore.
The lady from Manchester said we'd re-own the cats on Facebook.
And we didn't realise she lived in Manchester.
But a couple of weeks later she said no I've seen how you look after your animals and how you rescue them and what have you.
To help people and the rest.
And they stay with us you know.
And we do that at our own expense you know.
And she said no I'm going to bring the cats down to you.
So we had her and her daughter.
Unfortunately her daughter passed away.
But she's my oldest this one by year.
Princess!
She's my oldest.
She's lovely.
She's lovely.
She likes to roll around in the mud and the grass.
That's her favourite thing to do.
She'd come back stinking.
She's lovely.
They're good cats.
