So, this is a prime example of why the donation centre is working in our favour.
Because A, when we get donation fatigue, we can shut the door and go and come back another day.
Now, I was getting donation fatigue the other day with the books, because we've had about 2 million.
We must... every time I do one of these rolls, right, it's 2,000.
Every time I do the thank you stickers, it's 500, right?
And I've gone through a lot, right?
But... and then it gives us a chance to check things, clean things, and get the best possible value, or the best possible use out of things.
Now, I've just picked this book up by you.
I'm not feeling too good today, I think it's the weather.
So I'm just writing prices on stuff, taking it slow.
Right, you know, it's hot, I've got a fan on.
Taking it slow, writing prices on stuff.
Dan's put some stuff on the racket at the back here.
Just taking a while to sell.
Sorting out the bag of stuff, just taking our time.
Sign copy.
And it took me 2 looks inside the cover to realise that was a signed copy.
So, you see, now that goes from being a £3.50 book to £15 to £20.
So that's why we tell the other staff, don't price.
Because I picked up books from Brynmawr's shop that had £10 on them.
And it was like, why is it £10?
I also picked up CDs that had £10 on them from Brynmawr's shop.
This is why we're having designated prices.
Don't price stuff, this is why we've said don't go through the donations, because people are missing things, okay?
So, again, another brilliant book.
I've probably only got about £30 left around me.
There's probably another £500 somewhere else.
But yeah, that was a good find then.
So thank you whoever donated this one.
