So the other thing I wanted to just have a quick chat about is we're getting a couple of fellas turning up, coming up from the job centre, who are on benefits.
I know this because I'm cheeky and I ask, okay?
So I'm not just making an assumption there.
They're coming in and asking to volunteer.
So I'm assuming the jobcentres are saying, go out and get volunteer posts to keep your benefits.
Because obviously there's, you know, the general election coming up and all the rest of it.
If you have to volunteer with us as part of the jobcentre requirement, and they've asked you to come and ask us, they will need to provide the rolling DBS for you to work there.
And they will also need to provide training for you to work there.
And they will also need to provide time sheets for them to be signed every week.
Because if it's part of your DWP benefit requirements, then they will need to be proof of working.
This is why we've put our volunteer work up to a minimum of eight hours a week ourselves.
Because that is what you should be doing in order to get your 75% discount, etc.
So just for people to be aware, because I've had a few in and it seems to be like they're targeting one sort of group.
But it doesn't matter whether you're an animal, vegetable, mineral, man, woman, whatever you identify as, you would still need the same.
If it's part of the jobcentre requirement, they need to contact me.
You need to have no criminal convictions pending or recommendations from social services that you're not allowed around babies and children.
Okay, so anything like that that is pending or social services have made recommendations.
Because I know social services very well and I find quite a bit of information on social services.
So I will find out if there's anything pending.
But just for you to be aware, that's what you need to do.
