Right, so I am here at the Donation Centre.
That's a lovely picture, that is.
Tens of suitcases, guys.
Ten each.
There are ten each in Blackwood as well.
I think we've got four or five down here.
And then we've got the flat ones, the old-fashioned ones.
So I am here for drop-offs and for volunteers if they want to come in and do something.
However, Dan's packed up, which is easier for me.
He sees me doing it at eight o'clock.
So I am going to stay here and do some pricing now for a bit.
But if any volunteers want to come in, I'd be here till at least eight.
I've got fans.
So I am really pleased today now.
They are doing really well in Blackwood, fair play to them.
Oh, you forgot the washing.
They are doing really well up there now.
We have sorted.
Natalie and Mams have gone through all the clothes on the rail and taken off all the pre-marks.
So there is no pre-marks now.
They are for Blackwood.
They have emptied this.
I am not sure if Jaynet emptied that one.
But we have got that one to go and then some baby stuff to go.
Oh, I might have to have the roller shutter open.
It is a bit hard, if I am honest.
I might open the roller shutter.
But it is going to be impossible to shop.
I might be able to get you something, I don't know.
So that is brilliant.
Tomorrow, the boys are going to go through the travel cart and take the cheaper clothes out of there.
So these are all more expensive clothes.
I could do with somebody to take over haberdashery now, because we have promoted our haberdashery manager to area manager.
So I have got some more suitcases around there too.
I have got to get them out, because now is the time for them, isn't it?
So we are getting there slowly again.
I have got quite a few jobs to do.
Quite a few jobs.
I will make a list, because I have still got those things to be sprayed, and now is the weather to do spraying.
I have got ornaments I need around here, so I can price them.
There is always something to do here.
Always something, isn't there?
This lot has got to be cleaned before it is priced.
Don't know what this is.
I am going to do the videos next.
That is what I am planning on.
Videos are going to be easy.
I am going to do them next.
Get that done.
Yeah, but they have made a massive dent in those clothes now.
So I don't think that we were saying in the car, me and Lacey were saying in the car, because she came up to Pontypool and helped me with the bags in Pontypool.
I don't think this is working with the travel carts, because nobody is shopping them.
Because we haven't had anybody in for Lego Club.
So I think we would be better off just going through them in the bags.
Coloured bags for Blackwood.
Coloured bags for everywhere else.
And then just putting them in a cage until they can get up there.
Or putting all the Blackwood stuff there so we know, and then all the other stuff in the cages.
Because they just sat in the travel carts not doing anything in there.
So, but we went through them again today and we found some stuff with marks on.
So things are getting triple checked now, because by the time they go over to Jude and Steve now, and Sammy and Karen over there in Pontypool, they will be checked again before they go out.
So either get yourself a travel cart like our guys, and check out the front in the morning I would, and let people shop it to get it down.
Or trolleys or whatever, that's what I would do.
It might be that we need to have one of these out there with some of the £2 clothes in, because that is our biggest thing is the £2 clothes like in here.
So they are our top sellers.
So they are on our top selling list is the £2 clothes, especially when they are on offer, because they fly out then don't they?
So it might be that I have to have a travel cart out there.
It might be, right?
Because it is still a lot of lifting, and although we have minimised the risk, so it is less staff lifting now, I have still got to lift, Dan has still got to lift.
It might be that we need to put that on a pallet, cable tie it to a pallet, and get a pump truck and pump truck it out every day.
And same with the other stuff as well, attach it to pallets and pump truck them out.
That is the only way to do it now I think.
Well, it would be better for us in the long run, wouldn't it?
So yeah, volunteers if you want to come in, I am hoping and hoping for drop-offs, not really for selling unfortunately.
