Sorry guys, the live end working.
So yeah, I've picked up some donations from Brynmawr.
I've dropped them up some Prosecco and say thank you for getting an exempt.
Well done girls.
Well done to Lacey in Blackwood Shop.
Her second sale of the day was £150.
£169 I think the sale was in total.
So well done.
She sold one item that was a vintage that's been we've had for a long time.
This is why I don't understand why charity shops put dates on them.
Because we've had that item for nearly two years maybe.
And it's the collectors come along and the collectors gone oh I'm having that.
I bought it.
You know you'd be a fool to be checking stuff out.
I know it's about how you store it and more of you.
So we've delivered out some health and safety information and Daniel has.
So that's why we really need area managers now.
Because they could be doing that.
I could be down the donations end and Daniel could be building some more racking couldn't he.
We've looked at an extra venue in Pontypool.
Something has come up that I've been had my eye on for a while.
So I might do that.
I might not.
So we're going to see if the price is right.
So yes I've got some books to go through.
I'm going to have lunch and then I'm probably going to open the donation centre.
Because I've got quite a bit to price up.
We've had a lovely shade lounge donated.
But Penny's going to come down and clean it for us with a specialist machine she's got.
Picked up some vintage toys from Pontypool.
Ready to go over Blackwood.
Trying to avoid this lady a minute.
Look like she's going to enjoy her donuts anyway.
So yes we've offered out the manager training positions now to Natalie, Pontypool staff, Lauren, Brimow staff.
Which is brilliant.
That's really great that is.
You can study your food hygiene and everything else as well.
It's all free.
So that's good.
We've been doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes.
A lot of paperwork filling in and the rest of it.
Signing up for things.
Joining the association for the fundraising community.
Governing body I think they are.
Because we were governed by them for our fundraising.
So that's always good.
We fundraise a lot of money.
So it's always good to have a governing body on board.
A bit like the NMC.
They are the governing body for the nurses.
Or the GMC.
The General Medical Council.
They are the governing body.
So yes I don't know if we are going to do live bingo tonight because we still only sold four tickets.
We need to push it more in the shops.
We need to say to customers do you want to buy a live bingo ticket.
They've got to be able to attend the live online.
And participate.
So I think we might.
I don't know where the weeks to go.
We lose so much time you know.
It's crazy isn't it.
So we just lapse it over till next week.
And do that.
See if we can sell some more tickets.
Don't forget we've got the Mario Brothers tomorrow.
To say thank you to all the fellas.
The grandfathers.
The fathers.
Or anybody who identifies as a fella.
Uncles.
Families that support us.
As well as mothers.
So yeah pop up.
It's all free.
You can put money in the donation box if you want to.
But you don't have to.
It's again.
Mascots.
Memories and more.
Have given us a discount on booking the characters.
And it's free.
And you can take as many pictures as you like.
So when you're waiting to have your pictures done.
Give the families a chance so they can take as many pictures as they like.
We don't charge for photos.
Like some people.
Like Santa.
Santa's being pulled over the coals now.
Charging for photos.
Well when we went to Centre Park.
We went in to inquire to see how much it was.
And I think it was £30 to see Santa.
And get one toy.
Like a plushie.
Elf or something like that.
And then you had to buy the photos.
Afterwards.
Both on packages.
Crazy isn't it.
So yeah I'm going to get dinner.
Daniel is also having a look at a vintage selection of items that we're going to buy out of the fundraising.
Because I know we can triple the money on it.
So he's going to purchase that today.
Get a receipt and then we will record how much we've made.
So the expenditure will be x amount and more we've made on it.
And that's why it's good then to have the fundraising association as your governing body.
Because we're doing things like that as well.
We're spending to accumulate.
You know.
So I'm starving.
I think I'm going to have a pasta pot and something else I think.
So see you in a bit guys.
I'm going to open the donation centre after I've done this.
