So, I'm out and about tonight guys.
Somebody has some rabbit food for me.
So we rescue rabbits.
90% of the animals we've rescued, well probably hundreds to be honest, are all families that follow us and are part of our following group on Facebook.
We do that at our own cost.
So if anybody got any rabbit food or anything we asked for it and this lady knew we did it so she said, come down I've got a pint of rabbit food hey and stuff like that.
So that's brilliant, it helps us out.
We usually take, I've taken, because I've got fish ponds, I take fish in, do and out.
Aquatic animals.
And I've taken hamsters, rabbits and cats.
We are full at the moment, okay.
But I just was driving past this now.
Now I've used one of these machines before, they hurt your arms, they are difficult to fill.
Those clothes, right, are going to cash for clothes.
They are not going to help anybody.
Okay, so those clothes are not going to be given to anybody in need.
They are going straight to cash for clothes.
And cash for clothes then sell them on to the third world countries.
If they don't buy them, they go to their landfill.
There's plenty of videos out there and research to prove that.
Okay, I've also got proof that places like cash for clothes have contacted myself.
Do I want to buy them at the cheaper rates?
You know, things like that.
Now all of those clothes have been there since before Easter, right.
And because I can remember coming over here, because we bumped into Jan when we came over here.
They've been there since Easter, so all of that is going to go in the bin now, because cash for clothes won't take any of them.
So all of that will go to landfill.
And anything that's inside of it will be cash for clothes.
So if you put jumpers and things like that in there, they are not going to help people.
And if cash for clothes don't want it, it goes to landfill, because they're the business.
So I just thought I'd video it and show you not to leave bags outside, exactly like charity shops.
Don't leave bags outside.
I can't pick it up because it's not classed as my property.
So there's no way I could pick that up now and ask Jan or whoever to wash it, because it's nothing to do with us.
So that's up to the wooden stop to deal with that.
Now they're going to have to contact the Salvation Army to deal with that as well.
But their volunteers should be out checking the boxes.
They shouldn't just be dumping them and just picking up the cash for clothes money.
They should be out checking them and making sure that there's no donations left outside of them.
It's not just, you know, drop it off and just take the money job.
Surely.
Because if that was one of our boxes or one of our shops, I'd be really annoyed if that was left outside over a week that that's been there.
So just for you guys to be aware that these black bins are not always as good as they seem, you know, these big inch things.
Because they are primarily cash for clothes, which means they're getting less than 10 pence per kilo.
Now as far as I'm concerned, it's worth more than a jumper.
When a lady came in today, bought a lovely little, you know, like a gilet type top, two pound.
Come to us, two pound, right?
So that two pound will go towards nappies now to help somebody or food bank.
And if she got it for her father for the garden.
So, you know, she was more than happy.
So just be mindful about where you're putting your donations.
Don't leave them outside places.
That attracts rats.
That's going to be a problem now for the one shop because, you know, they're going to have to shift that.
Nobody else can touch that other than the Salvation Army or the people who own the pod.
So just be mindful not to dump stuff like that.
We were open all over Easter.
I said we're open all over Easter.
Don't fly tip.
We're here.
So can you let people know that don't forget, it's not going to the third world countries for free.
They'd be in charge for it.
