So, here we are.
Back where we started.
Well, we didn't start here, did we?
We started on my drive.
We're in a charity shop, they said.
Be easy, they said.
Do me a favour.
No donations until 2025.
Oh my god.
Right.
So, we're using this now as part storage for... until we get our new, new shop.
They have a new shop on Risk Ice Street somewhere, but we got a new, new shop in the pipeline.
So, that landlord's on holiday, so we haven't got the keys or anything.
So we can't get the lease assigned in person.
So, it is going through.
They are doing the work.
But when he comes back off holiday, it would have been nice to have just taken this up there.
Oh gosh.
I said no donations now until 2025.
Maybe 26, what was it?
2030.
2030, alright.
2035, we're going to go on.
Right, so anyway, we've had a bit of mouth off CSM printing.
The little steward down the bottom there, Billy No-Mate.
Do you know her, don't you?
On in.
Again, she's rang the landlord today, ruined the landlord's day and said, Oh, they're doing a runner, they're doing a runner.
Do we look like we're doing a runner?
Do I look like I don't need to knock next door through and the next one and the next one?
Honest to God, like, get a life.
Get a life, get some friends.
She saw the white van, she just assumed, she saw a van, she just assumed we were doing a runner.
Well, this is how popular we are now, Claire.
Okay, because you and your paedophile mate aren't that popular anymore because I've seen your Google reviews and I didn't write them.
Other people have.
This is how popular we are now, right?
Our deliveries come in vans.
So mind your own business, Claire.
Work on your Google reviews, I would if I were you, because I am the only disgruntled customer by the look of it.
So, we'll see what happens now.
We'll take on the new new shop, which is a shop, big shop, nice.
And it's got the basement, right?
Which is, I think it's bigger than half a bar good.
I'm not 100% sure.
It might be about the same square footage.
It's probably not.
I've got it written down anyway.
So, downstairs will be like a sorting area.
And then we can sort what needs to go from one side of the valley to the other side of the valley.
I don't want to be running stuff from one side to Risca, to the other side, or to Cathilly.
But that will be a sorting area for staff then, down the bottom.
I think we need to have massive sorting areas now.
Even this unit isn't big enough for storage and sorting.
I don't know what to do.
I don't know where to just get a van with a man.
A man with a van maybe even might be better next time.
I'll get one of our house clearance boys to do this next time.
Because if I never see another white van again, as long as I live, it'll be too soon.
And of course Roy welded these.
So, we can't dismantle them see.
Probably could, but I don't want to anyway.
We aren't going to be that long about.
So here we go.
This has been a lot easier to put stuff into because it's flat.
It's all flat see.
You can roll a track around the back, roll the tracks around the front.
It's been a lot easier to transfer.
Risca's been a nightmare because we've got to take it out after the drive.
We can't park the van in front of the drive because of the lane.
Then you've got all the shingles on the lane and then you've got all the traffic.
So this has been a good one to roll in, roll out.
Maybe we keep this one, maybe we go for a bigger one.
There are bigger ones but they're over the other side and it's a bit messy over that side.
So, we'll see.
I don't know if Rob is going yet because the plan was always to knock through to Rob's.
And then knock through a third and a fourth because this is like fourth blocks.
But, I don't know.
I don't know where we're at.
It might be cheaper for us to actually just get a big warehouse now.
A big, big warehouse I'm talking.
Where we can have like scooters.
Electric scooters that take us from one bay to the next.
Because walking has been a nightmare today.
And transferring has been so much easier at Aberbargoed because it's all flat.
So, that's where we're at guys.
So, don't listen to rumours.
You know what they're like.
They've got no lives these people.
No lives.
They've got no reputation.
We're out there feeding children and babies.
And they're out there slagging us off.
And it's like really, you need to hear your priorities straight.
So, if you've got any questions, ask us.
I always keep you in the loop while we're up to.
If you want money at the end of the day, it's not my money.
We're just the caretakers of it and the donations.
And that's why we're packing it all up and bringing it up here.
We've packed up as much of the stuff that we think will transfer.
Anything else, because we're getting tired now.
Anything else will all be free.
Don't risk it on Thursday.
I can't guarantee what's going to be down there.
There will be chairs.
There will be sofas and things down there.
So, and I might get rid of this sofa.
And then again, it'd be nice to have one if I'm in a certain area up there.
Might get rid of this sofa.
But when we go, not yet.
Because we've got to dig it out.
So it'll be the day that we go.
But anyway, if any of my house cleaning boys can see this.
It's everything.
Guitars off the wall.
I've won all our wood out here.
The lot.
Right?
So...
You let me know how much this would cost to clear.
And I'll let you know.
Because right now I never want to clear another unit as long as I live.
But there we are.
It's been hard work.
There we go.
There we go.
So thank you for all your donations.
We're looking after them the best we can.
While we're in the interim of moving.
Thank you to all my volunteers.
We've had loads of new ones in.
Brilliant.
We've had loads of the old ones have been in doing stuff.
You know.
So...
We've got people working online to sell stuff for us.
You know.
It's brilliant.
It's brilliant at the moment.
I wish I could afford to employ you all.
Because you're all worth it.
Honestly, you really are.
You're all worth...
Well, I don't want to say you're worth minimum wage.
You're worth more than minimum wage, guys.
Triple minimum wage.
I wish I could pay you all.
I really do.
A massive thank you.
Like, Jan has opened up Blackwood and tidied up up there.
And Lisa's been up there with her.
And then we've got the under-sixties have been up there.
And some other volunteers.
And then we've got Hannah running the other shop.
But no one in Pontypool because me and him are busy.
That's why we need volunteers in Pontypool now.
Because we're really, really busy.
I don't want to shut it down.
But I need someone to manage it.
I need at least two managers over there.
And we need volunteers in Daly over there.
To keep it, you know...
Because look at it.
Look.
Look.
This is nothing.
This is nothing for us to have two of them a day.
Right?
So if...
My volunteers have a panic attack when their vans are pulled up.
Because they're like...
Oh, so that van was for us then.
Right?
This is literally nothing for us to take this in one shop in one day.
Right?
That's where we're at now.
So we need a lot of managing on that point.
So yep.
Volunteers welcome tomorrow.
And don't forget everything is going to be free then.
Don't be gRisca.
Thanks guys.
