So I'm off to Little Risca.
I'm off to Big Risca, but I'm off to Little Risca to drop off the advent calendars for children that are definitely not going to make it up to Santa.
I think we've done really well this year.
And some toys, because I know she's sold out of toys Hannah have this week.
And to see if we can fill her up with some more.
The problem is with Little Risca, it's so small, and Hannah sells a lot of stuff.
And it sells out quite quickly, so we've got to keep topping her up.
It's going to be whatever I can find at the moment Hannah, because you know what we like at the moment.
So I'm really pleased with where we are this year.
I know we've got a lot of work going on at the moment.
But what I don't want is the building to be shut down, council warning, nobody enter, and all my stock stuck inside with a leaky roof deteriorating.
It's not just because of the roof, it's because of conditions on the site as well.
So anyway, moving forward, we know what we're doing.
We don't need to have crappy little places, cheap rent anymore.
Because we're getting such a discount on big shops, good condition shops.
So landlords can see where we are, they can see how popular we are, what we're doing in the community.
And they can see that we're a sustainable business as well.
So I don't need to be crawling on roofs, fixing roofs when my landlord should be doing it, do I, any longer.
Or cleaning out rubble and things like that.
So we've come really far.
Don't forget we've got Santa.
And we've got his two little helpers, Minnie and Mickey Mouse, in Blackwood Shop on the 16th.
That's for free to customers and donators.
We've managed to get a pile of selection boxes out of our own fundraising, a pile of advent calendars.
I would like to see where we are this time next year.
And I'm hoping we can double the selection boxes, double the Santa visits, double the advent calendars.
I mean that's just a testament to what we've done really and how far we've come.
Because last year we didn't do any of this, did we last year?
I know we did the raffles for Christmas dinner.
I've still got to do the volunteers one.
So I'll get that done.
Pontypool, we need volunteers because it's taking up too much of our time now and we've got too much to do with the bigger shops.
So this other shop I'm taking on doesn't need a lot of work.
But then I've got a basement for free, which I'll put all the stuff from Risca in.
And then that needs to be brought up to standard to be a warehouse for volunteers to go in and work.
So it's quite big so I'm happy with that.
So I need volunteers over at Pontypool otherwise we're going to have to shut it down.
Because Dan is just too busy to go over there, I'm too busy to go over there.
So I've got a lady coming in next Wednesday looking to take over as a manager over there.
But we need volunteers in to help her as well.
We've got a nice bunch of volunteers in Blackwood, we can still take more in Blackwood.
I need Sharon and Mark Cochran to get a hold of me please.
I've lost your phone number.
So yeah, bear with us.
Thank you for bearing with us while we're doing this big massive rejig that we didn't really need to do.
But we're doing it now so I'm happy anyway.
I feel a lot better than I know I am.
I've got to go into a building site every morning.
And we've got landlords crying out for us now and offering us massive, massive discounts.
So we don't need to take the cheapest thing on the street anymore do we?
In all fairness.
But yeah, remember this post now and see where we are next year.
Let's see if we can double the advent calendars through fundraising.
Double the two bags for volunteers.
Look, one kilogramme now will no longer last.
And I've got two bags of these, one for Blackwood and one for...
And I think they need coffee in Blackwood too, let me know guys.
And then let's see if we can perhaps double the selection boxes, double the Santa visits.
It'll be fab, won't it?
You can do it.
So yeah, thank you guys all for your support.
