So our food bank in Blackwell is looking nice and full, and we've had a pile of nappies off the Ukraine Centre because they can't send them when they're open.
So they've popped a pile up to us, that's lovely.
Bed mats for bed wetting and things as well.
The bed mats are only available for children, they're not available for dogs or anything and neither the nappies because we have had people asking for dogs.
So they're not available So thank you for that.
We do take open packs because we'll use, you know, mums will use whatever when they, you know, every nappy counts at this stage don't they?
So the market is going, they've done well today out there I think because it was awful.
There's a work week guy out there, he's got some nice stuff up there.
Oh my window's nearly shot.
Every time I put something in the window it's a sale, I keep doing the window.
The fruit and veg guy, he's sold out today yeah.
And the meat guy's doing well, breathing the weather out there.
I'm so glad we don't have a stall now.
Having to put it all away at night, used to crack me up.
So we've had another customer in today from Bristol.
So that's lovely, brilliant, thank you.
We've had lovely customers in today as well.
Christmas in this morning.
So this is it now for Christmas because we've brought up Risca's Christmas stuff is up here now.
Okay because obviously I don't want it getting damp in any way or damaged in any way and we don't know if part of the roof got to come off, we don't know what's going on yet.
So I brought it up here.
Still going to be 50% off in Risca next week.
So I can get the stock levels down so I can manage it.
Yeah.
So we appreciate everybody who's coming down to give us an hand with that.
I could do with volunteers down there as well but I do appreciate everyone who's coming down there shopping and helping us out.
Because obviously otherwise we might have to transfer all of it into storage or if part of the roof has got to come off then things are going to get damp in there.
So that's the If it was summer I wouldn't worry about it so much because we just bash up a lot of lines and volunteers gardens and whatever but we can't in this weather can we?
Baby clothes are going well.
They're doing well because there's only two of them up here.
We've got one of those up here now to trial it and see how it goes.
I think it's got the 9 to 12 clothes in it.
I'll have to price it up but it looks nicer.
Do look tidier like that I don't know with the thing but it's getting them now.
And they don't do the fancy colour drawers anymore.
They do pale grey and pink.
It's awful.
So yes they're doing well to keep the rail filled up here.
The box is overflowing.
We might have to do a little silo baby clothes up here as well I think.
That's why we stopped all donations because if we've got to put some donations from Risca Hew, Ponty Pool, Aberbargoed then obviously that's going to take up space so we need less coming in and we need hours to work down.
I've got to go, my dinner's done.
