Sorry, I have to stop then, I have to help a customer.
So, yeah, so they've checked that because there's certain regulations you've got to have for candles, okay?
And they're battery operated ones.
And that might have asked the question that I was going to speak to trading standards about actually.
Would it be safer for us to put battery ones in jars people want to make rather than put in a real candle?
You know, I know, it's health and safety gone wild.
It's crazy.
Yeah, so we look at things like, you know, realistically, what would we get for these little frogs?
Are they collectible items?
I don't think we've got any collectible shine here.
There was a nice jewellery, a lovely jewellery with some of the tags on, you know.
So the manager of the shop or the trustees would put it to one side and say, right, okay, we'll take that.
And they say, oh, jewellery sells really well in Blackwood.
We'll take it up there.
But then again, you know, it's always handy to have jewellery, a rack of jewellery in each shop, isn't it?
Same as the cards, you know, sort of spread it out as well.
Like I've gone through those clothes.
They're probably two pound clothes.
What was in the bag?
Oh, there was some stuff in the bag.
I think might sell better in Blackwood, actually.
Like, for example, I think we got a higher price of that in Blackwood, but I'll have to research it first.
And then some Star Wars watches.
So I thought, oh, they'll fly out in Blackwood.
So, yeah, these would go in the two pound section.
And then I found two items then that I think would be five pound items.
So that's just to let you know how we... volunteers know how the donations work.
This is how they do.
And then once it's been price bracketed or checked, then we give it to the volunteers to sort into areas.
So they put it in the two pound area.
They put the price tags on and what have you.
But the volunteers then get seventy five percent off that price point.
So the way we do our donations is we do it quite charitably that, for example, if we thought we could get ten pounds for that coat, I'm not sure what's on it.
Say we thought we could get ten pounds for that coat.
Somebody isn't coming in and just taking it out of a bag and just buying it for fifty p.
Because we've got to do what's best.
You know, we're the caretakers of the money.
I always say this.
We're the caretakers.
So we've got to do what's best for the charity.
And we've got to do what's charitable as well and what's expected.
So that's been price pointed at ten.
So the volunteers will get seventy five percent discount off that.
And then if that's price pointed at two, they get seventy five percent discount off that.
So that's just as I was unpacking.
And I thought, well, plus we've got a few new volunteers.
So it's always good to remind people that's how we do it.
Because I've been in charity shops myself.
And as soon as the bags come in, the staff are like grabbing at it.
And it's like, we don't want to do it like that.
We want to do it as charitably and as ethically as possible.
So, yeah, but again, a lovely donation.
I've had two, because I'm sure I took a picture one earlier, didn't I?
Yeah, I took one earlier in Pontypool.
And there was donations here.
But when I come in, I think as well.
So I've done a bit of pricing.
I've done a bit of cleaning over here.
Nice day again.
Nice, nice customers come in.
One of the pushes, somebody's asked to see it in Blackwood.
But I think they've paid in advance anyway.
It's a nice posture.
They've got a bargain with that one.
So if we can, we will transfer.
You know, we will transfer items if we can.
You know that.
So yeah, yeah, we've been quite busy.
Well, I've got another customer now I've got to go.
