So I'm going through the clothes now, making sure they're clean, tidy, folded.
You know, I want to get these hanging, I just can't get the rails.
But this is how volunteers, this is how we want you to do it.
Because you have to do this like every two days, otherwise it ends up like that.
So mums can rush, rummage through it.
Because they're sometimes in a rush, you know, we appreciate their custom and I'm coming in.
So that's what we're here to do is to make sure that we tidy the basket.
Some mums will do it first, they sit by you, go through the basket and tidy it up as they go along.
But as you're going through, right, I would...
I know you get hats and tights and all the rest of it.
I know you like to put it in separate boxes.
But what I would do is put all the naught to three stuff, even if it's tights, hats, I'd put them all in there.
Because as a mum, they haven't got time to go through all the boxes.
What I would say is put like all the naught to three to six tights in here, all the naught to three in there, all the whatever in there.
You know, do it that way.
So it's having little boxes everywhere because they're in the right age group then.
But as you're going through, like this one has slipped the net.
See, it's dirty.
I've had a few dirty ones.
Just the way it goes sometimes.
Is that dirty, this one?
I don't know if it's just a...
Yeah, this one is a bit as well.
Look, see?
So as you're going through, get them out, put them in the washing bag if you're a volunteer, right?
Label them up washing and then me or one of the managers will get the washing bag.
We'll either put it out the back front for free, right, if somebody wants to take it and do it.
Or if we think we can salvage them, we'll wash them.
All right, so don't put them in the bin, but just bag them up, label them as washing.
But if you've got one you think, oh, I don't know about this one or I don't know about that, just put them in there and we'll check them.
But anything with a tiny mark like that, don't put them in the basket.
I know most of you know what you're doing, but we do have volunteers that haven't worked in charity shops again.
So when you get it, check it, you know, if there's a button missing, I mean, it will slip the net, right?
If there's a button missing, then put it in the bag as well.
I mean, if somebody brought one to me and there was a button missing from the 50p, I'd just give them for free.
You know, if they want to take it and sew a button on.
But yet, check them all, make sure there's no dribble on them or anything like that.
And they've been washed.
And they should be checked as they're coming in.
But, you know, that's how we do it.
Put it nice and tidy, like every two days and for mums to go back through them.
So thanks, guys.
