So, I'm trying to reset the shop now for tomorrow for Hannah.
We've had a busy day in Blackwood again.
We've had Chris been in and one of our new managers.
So Chris, Justine and Hannah will be the managers here.
And we have just overseen the shop.
So I still need our managers over Ponte Pool.
So, we'll try and sort that out now.
Now this one is filling up with volunteers.
It's a bit easier to sort the other ones out, isn't it?
So yeah, we've had a fantastic day.
Fantastic day yesterday with customers.
Lovely couple just come in now.
Spent £15 on two pairs of vans.
No question asked.
We did throw a guy out earlier that was 50p, 50p, 50p.
I can get this in Wilkinson 50p.
Because they're closing down.
That's why you can get it there.
50p.
Like all the money we take goes back into the food bank.
So we're not going to be selling anything at a loss to you.
I don't know why they keep coming in.
Yeah, those ones.
Got a big sign on the door.
You know me.
We have had some fantastic donations today.
This doesn't stay here overnight by the way.
None of the money pots stay in the store.
None of the takings stay in the store.
Everything is banked every night.
So absolutely fantastic donations.
What I thought we'd do when we fill this up is we'll do a raffle.
We'll do a free food raffle.
Like a hamper raffle or something.
And we'll say, you know, guess how much is in it, isn't it?
And do a free raffle.
Because it's for the food bank.
We'll do a free food shop or something.
Like we've done before.
So yeah, we've been busy.
We've been trying to keep on top of it.
Got all this to hang up now.
The weekend.
If you've got volunteers to come in.
Straighten up the rails.
I've got more size cubes for this shop.
More colored rails for the baby stuff.
We've taken the price down on the bikes.
We've had a check online.
We do check, you know.
And we do cross check as well.
So somebody else will have a look at it just in case I've checked it wrong.
Books are going really well.
DVDs.
Somebody paid £5 earlier for a set of Tremor DVDs.
Thank you very much.
And a book.
£3.49.
Paff and Appies.
So that's brilliant.
The media is going very well.
We need to get on a rye to weld some things on your rye.
They keep sliding off.
Yeah, comics.
Kay's son gave us the comics and they're all gone.
Done well.
A lot of people looking at the memorabilia stuff.
Today, oh hey, nice boots in there.
Too high for me, break my neck.
I used to wear really high shoes.
I can't now.
So yeah.
We've got some still lovely stuff in.
Older jigs, jigsaws are going well.
It's warmed up again now.
Oh, how's that come off?
Let's have a look at that.
That's all designer stuff that is.
People have sent in and it's been priced up right.
Still looking for the legs for them.
So yeah, tons of Christmas stuff as you know.
All the Christmas stuff is brand new.
It's all come from the garden centre.
So, it's going well though, Christmas stuff.
Absolutely flying it.
Yeah, so that guy was like 50p, 50p, 50p.
We were like pfft.
We were like, talking about twice actually.
So yeah, Christmas stuff is going lovely.
So nice in the window.
So, we were so lucky again to have our donation.
Lovely little jackets and coats for winter now.
I've bought extra hangers now, so you should have all yellow, blue, green.
We'll go from there.
Look at that little pink dress down there.
It's lovely isn't it?
Haven't seen that one.
That's pretty.
Oh, it's brand new.
Look, we've got some beautiful items in there.
Look at that, brand new.
Beautiful baby.
Oh, look at that.
Oh, that's cute.
We've had brand new baby clothes in today.
Beautiful.
Look at that with the dinosaurs on.
I don't get to see it obviously.
Oh, that's pretty isn't it?
Peter Rabbit.
I love the Peter Rabbit stuff.
Beautiful stuff again.
Beautiful baby clothes, beautiful donations.
We've had books donated today.
Tons of stuff today.
Pontypoo has been fairly busy I think.
So I need somebody to manage it over there.
Now I'd like to have at least two to three managers because the problem is when you've got, you know, one manager running the shop, which is lovely, but when they go it's a big, it's big boots to fill them when they go in there.
So, you know, when people have got to move on and like we said, you know, volunteer work, we can give you a certificate for it.
I can get, you know, if you've worked well for us, we can give you a reference as well.
You know, we understand that you've got to get a job and move on and do things.
Get in for us.
I wish I could pay all of you.
I really do.
You're fantastic.
You work fantastic.
Margaret said she don't get it in Africa when they don't get the people volunteering like we do.
If they had something like this in Africa, then they would have to pay the workers to be in the shop.
They don't do any sort of volunteering over there.
So, and our volunteers are good, aren't they?
I love this.
I think it's monsoon.
It's lovely.
Okay.
It's warm, isn't it?
Yeah, it is warm.
It's too warm.
I know.
I can't have it like last week.
No, I had all the doors open, the fan on, everything.
I couldn't cope in here.
I hate the heat.
I'm dreading like a vampire.
I am like a vampire.
This is lovely.
Look at that.
Yeah, so.
Aren't you angry at us, you guys?
Big, massive bag of size cubes.
I'm checked up.
There's tons of them here.
Oh, look at that.
I've got my field day now.
Field day this week.
Look.
It's like Christmas.
Like Christmas.
So yeah, I'm getting ready to pack up now.
I'm trying to keep it as tidy as I can here for Hannah.
Got this lot to sort.
Loads of baby stuff in for the food bank.
So yeah, thank you guys.
Supporting us well this week.
Thank you very much.
