So, hi guys.
We got Wars by Pauling today.
Been busy this morning, fair play.
Because I didn't think it would be that busy.
Got the market there today.
The meat and the veg.
So I'll get you bargains there.
I've been unpacking some jewellery.
I think we must have had that off Josie a while ago.
I haven't unpacked it.
Because we just haven't got a room in risk for everything.
Picked up that last night to put the books on.
So he's not for sale.
So yeah, they've had a good clean up year.
We had a few comments off the haters.
Thought we would.
So I think one of the comments, oh I know that's missing off a bit.
One of the comments were, how can they afford all of their shops?
Well, it's quite simple really.
When you're a charity, if you don't steal the money, or embezzle the money, and you put it back into what you do, then you've got the money for the shops.
I think another comment which really made me laugh.
Why don't you concentrate on one shop?
Why do I need to concentrate on one shop?
I've got three very successful shops that are run by volunteers.
My volunteers are absolutely priceless to me.
And I've got one very very small unit where we started off, because that was the only unit that we could get at the time, that your mate the paedophile keeps turning up at, and upsetting my customers, and frightening the children by videoing them.
So we've decided to keep that on, because the landlord has granted us a free rent period.
And we've got a free rent period here as well.
And use that as a sorting area, because we're so successful, and we're so popular now, that we need a sorting area for donations.
But thank you for your inquiry.
So I hope I've answered your questions right.
The rest of you that say, oh she's not a charity, we've never said we're a charity.
It says Jayne's Baby Bank and Charity Shop.
It doesn't say Jayne's Baby Bank Charity.
We've been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to operate as a business before our charity number comes through.
And we've been authorised by Cuffin and Butter Council, to run our shops, food banks, and baby banks, and whatever banks we are.
Because we're a bit of an everything bank now.
So I hope that's answered the latest questions.
Make me laugh, like a good laugh.
Oh that's cute, isn't it?
Yes, so we need someone to go up and have a bargain next week now.
I can pick a time, it don't matter now.
We can just go in there now and sort the donations out.
Because there's just loads up there we haven't even gone through yet.
Tons.
Risca.
Gwyn is down Risca.
She's been holding the fort down.
Risca and Dan's done it today, finishing off some stuff.
He'll bring some more stock up here.
I panicked yesterday when it was stock.
I was like, oh my god, stop buying stuff.
We had a really successful day.
So thank you everybody who shopped in Blackwood.
And the other two shops are running like clockwork.
So yeah, brilliant guys.
We've had really lovely feedback as well.
I did notice as well Gavin stuck up for us on one of the posts off the haters.
Thank you for doing that, Gavin.
I didn't have to.
I can stick up for myself.
But yeah, you are right.
When people are genuinely doing a good thing, that's when the people who aren't doing a good thing drag everybody down.
But there we are.
You won't drag us down.
Are you all right?
So yeah, we're open today.
So we've got the two doors open.
They're big massive doors.
We've got the two doors open.
Oh, I could have sold this over and over and over again yesterday.
But it's not.
It's for my mum's.
So yeah, we've got the two doors open.
Because obviously Portia and Andy's got his ventilator thing as well to extract any fumes.
But just for you to be aware.
All right.
Isn't that lovely?
So yeah, we've also got a box of brand new clothes as well that was donated.
So I'm opening them up.
I didn't get my priceless picture up.
I love it.
It's so pretty, isn't it?
Just had some donations in.
We've had two lots of donations so far.
So that's good.
This is going to be a bit of a nightmare in this shop for donations.
Because again, we haven't got any storage space.
So we're going to have to uplift donations from this one and take them to the sorting centre.
The sorting postage stamp.
It's not quite the centre, is it?
Or to the other shops straight away once they're sorted.
But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
We've had a really, really busy couple of days.
We're shattered, but we did it.
You know, thanks to our volunteers as well.
So thank you to Lisa and to Yasmin and Carl.
And especially Hannah who's set up all this boutique straight away for us.
Our baby boutique.
And to everybody else who keeps the cogs going.
To Eileen and Billy and all the other guys over there.
And to Gwyn, down the other shop.
And to Dan.
Poor Dan.
He does all the good jobs, Dan, doesn't he?
Oh, look at that dress.
That's pretty, isn't it?
Where's that from?
Oh, never heard of them.
So yeah, I think she was in the middle of pricing these yesterday.
So I don't know if that's a bit too early.
I don't know if it's brand new.
We'll have to check.
I don't know.
I am really being up here.
I've let Hannah just do up by here today.
Because if I see another bag of baby clothes, it'll never be too soon for me.
So I just let Hannah have a go with these up here.
Done a good job.
And all of these, we had given to us before.
I can't remember who off.
So we've still got quite a few flat wall ones.
We've got some other fixtures that are for like the peg boards and some other stuff.
But we'll have to figure that out as we're going along.
But you know, when we had like 17 boxes of them, and that's what we're left with.
We've done well, haven't we, guys?
Fair play.
I did bring the porky stick up to get the stuff done, but I can't find it.
Do you know where it is?
We got the fridge down, anyway.
From Howden's, because we won't need that big a fridge now up there.
So we got that down.
Howden's gave us that.
It'd be better, you know, in this shop than up at Aberbargoed.
Because Aberbargoed will just be for storage and sorting.
I'm just going around now, seeing if there's anything for the free basket out the front.
Just to top it up.
I love that teddy bear.
So I think Jan's coming in after.
But volunteers are welcome today.
And Monday, I think we've got a few volunteers at Monday.
So a lot of the air ambulance that used to be volunteers have come forward.
So that's brilliant.
Yeah, pop up, guys, if you used to work here.
Because I know we were all gutted.
It went when it was the air ambulance.
We do things a bit different, but there we are.
Different.
Seems to stick, doesn't it, guys?
So that's what we want.
We brought this down for the kids to play.
I don't think I'm gutted.
Because I've seen Princess Castle.
It's like frozen, so it's a different colour.
So I'm like, oh, I really want that.
I'm like, where are we going to put it?
Because it's going to come out today.
If you put it by you, it's going to come out.
It's going to take up a lot of space.
We'll see.
See what we can do now.
See how it goes when we come in now.
And go from there.
Right, I'm going to have a look at these donations now.
Bye, guys.
