Oh, so hi guys, we've had a fabulous day in Blackwood.
Absolutely fabulous first day in Blackwood.
Thank you everybody for that.
So yeah, we've started setting up a bit now.
Started putting all the little bags and what have you in the counter.
This counter was donated by a lady who got her salon involved.
Most things are donated, you know that.
I'm in the middle of cleaning this.
Dan's just put up the spare change box.
It's got like a residue on it.
I have to get some washing up liquid on it I think.
That's my picture.
And this offers in excess of £2,000 please.
We've had it valued.
Beautiful, isn't it?
Stunning.
Did somebody come in here?
I'd be shocked if anybody turned up and bought it but I love it.
So yeah, we're getting sorted.
We haven't put all this out yet because tomorrow we've got...
walls by Paul in the shop.
So if anybody wants to come and meet Paul and check out his work and watch him work, you're more than welcome to come in and then get his number and what have you.
He does excellent.
He's going to do this wall, that wall and the wall over there I think for us, starting in here.
We've got our shelves up.
We've still got more stock to come up.
We bought the big rails down from Aberbargoed because the volunteers struggled to get them out and it's a nightmare with those if it's raining and we've got to get the gazebo out.
So we said, right, let's get them down here.
So yeah, we've... well, a lot of it was smashed and grabbed from Risca and smashed and grabbed from Aberbargoed.
So I need somebody at Aberbargoed to start sorting through the donations up there and gather like a little sorting unit.
So there's our little counters.
Lovely, isn't it?
And Jamie Lee did this for us.
He's got to tighten it tomorrow.
So they're lovely.
So we got pet food from Aberbargoed shop off Deb's.
Don't forget Deb's birthday tomorrow.
It's her birthday party.
I don't know if we'll be able to make it Deb now because we've got spraying and all to do.
Gutted.
Gutted because I love candy floss.
We had these off Aberbeeg Logging and Firewood.
They used to have the garden centre there.
And I was like, what are we going to do with all these tables?
And then we were like, oh, brilliant.
I've got my breastfeeding sofa.
They've built that.
The ladder was supposed to go in the window as decorative to like put shelves on it.
So a little bit too big.
So we've got all those tables left.
I'll probably be selling them once off now.
Brought this down from Aberbargoed for the children to play on.
Because I don't know if we're going to get a princess castle in here.
I'm gutted.
I'd like one in every shop.
So Hannah has been working her backside off in here.
Fair play to her.
And the kitchen's not for sale.
That's what it learns to play with that is.
We'll get that put in a better location or something.
So yeah, she's done really well.
Carl put up the flat wall fittings.
We had those off somebody again, you know.
So yeah, it's looking good, isn't it?
Fair play.
Hoover's not working very well.
Might need to get another Hoover for up here.
But yeah, it's looking nice.
Kitchen looks like a bombsite, but we'll sort that out tomorrow now.
Got the micro down and everything.
It's only a little work surface to get everything on.
So yeah.
We've got it sorted.
We're just locking up now because we...
Oh, we have to have the two boiling in here today.
We're not used to having a shop.
See, I've got an hole in the roof.
So it was absolutely boiling.
We had that door open, that door open.
But it was nice.
It's nice to have the fresh air coming through in here.
I'll show you from outside now.
Bras went well today too.
Jan, we put them out here.
We've sold quite a few bras, Jan.
After you've sized them on that.
So yeah, it looks pretty good.
The market was here today as well.
The market was busy.
Not as many stores as it used to be though.
When I was little.
And we've got all this security.
Stop any dickheads.
Writing stupid stuff on our signs.
Stealing our signs.
Being a nuisance.
So that's all we need.
Dickhead proof shops.
So yeah, there's still lots of shops down here.
There's another charity shop across the way as well.
River Church.
They're done by us, they are.
They do food banks as well.
I'm sure they do for free.
I'm sure they don't charge.
So yeah, it'd be nice.
Especially all the Christmas trees we've had donated.
We might bring up here.
It'd be nice to have the Christmas trees.
I know we've had a few donated.
Because I collect thousands of trees.
We could have them in the window.
They'd look nice, wouldn't they?
Dress them all different colours.
Pink, blue, gold, silver.
Have all different colours, is it?
Have a good day, fair play.
I was worried at once that you were going to let us stalk.
I was like, hang on, no, stop buying stuff.
Jam's screwed all them together now.
So they're all safe.
So...
That's brilliant, that is.
And Jam's mum have checked all those jigsaws.
For us.
So...
Yeah, oh wow, look at that dress.
Have you just seen that?
That's pretty, isn't it?
Oh, that's lovely, if somebody's got a wedding coming up.
And this coat by you is nice, isn't it?
I don't wear coats.
That's nice, that unicorn thing.
So, pop up tomorrow if you want to meet Paul as well.
Volunteers, welcome to pop in tomorrow.
We'll be open.
And Risca will be open.
Pontypool will be open.
Aberbargoed we're probably going to keep for storage.
So we're back to three shops.
But, there's my...
Look at that, my eye candy.
And my adults donated from the pram people.
You can have a lot to count.
You can have a lot to count.
I can carry it all the way up.
I give up with this bloody thing.
What things?
Are you still recording?
The keys.
Oh, there's millions of keys.
Don't know what all the keys are for.
So, yeah.
We've been busy, we're shattered now after moving Four vans full of stuff we moved.
And we've got two fantastic security guards here.
Two.
Which is brilliant.
Adam and Rambo.
Brilliant.
That's exactly what we want.
Because we haven't got time for dickheads.
So we've got a lovely chap that does the rubbish.
So...
That's what it's all about, isn't it?
Probably want to sell them chairs.
Probably keep them for the little ones to play with.
See if they sit on them.
If they don't, they might just stand and play with those things.
Yes, I could do with somebody to bring some stock up from Risca shop if anybody's free tomorrow.
And my painting isn't for sale unless you go more than £2000.
So if anybody's available to go to risk and bring up stock like clothes or Christmas ornaments, that'd be great.
But don't worry if you can't.
It's Saturday.
Yeah, so we've been busy today.
There's not many jobs to do though now, is there Dan?
What have we got left to do?
Put the picture up.
I've got to clean that unit.
It's got like a grease or something on it, haven't it?
I need something to pop up to have a bar to have it tidy up where we move stuff.
And to...
start sorting the donations out of there.
Because we've still got millions of donations up there.
So maybe we'll have that for our book, DVD, media.
Because we get them mostly if we put them online.
Like some CDs in the shop we sell for a pound.
But some CDs are worth more than a pound, aren't they?
And some are not.
They're not worth a pound.
It depends on what people's music tastes.
But we haven't got the room to wait about to sell the books, to sell the CDs, to sell the DVDs.
But now we've got a moreage place, haven't we?
And we're looking into expanding Riscot as well.
So...
it's been a busy week.
But with our volunteers we've managed to pull it off within 24 hours, haven't we?
So we're going to dab hand at it now.
Setting up shops.
We brought Roy up.
We said, look Roy, no work to do.
No building work for you, Roy.
So...
Yeah, so the market packed up.
They were packed up at half past two, three today.
So...
we're going to go now, I think.
And then we'll be back up in the morning.
So say nine o'clock in the morning, maybe.
Yeah, it's got to be here for at least nine, because Paul's coming.
So...
together, done.
So yeah, yeah, pop in and see us tomorrow, guys.
Ta-da!
Oh, I still have to finish it up.
