Right, I'm gonna attempt to do another live.
Hopefully it'll stay on.
So yeah, we filled our cabinet up.
Well, I didn't.
The volunteers did with all the lovely rabbit stuff.
I wish we'd found that just before Easter.
That's gutted isn't it?
There's lovely rabbits in there.
That jewellery stand is lovely and full.
Lots of toys in guys.
This is ours for the play corner down here.
We want to extend the play area now to the pillar and then put a picket fence around it so that the children are contained when they're in here and then you can shop and you haven't got to worry about them running out or anything like that.
So yeah, that's what that is for.
We've lost a bag of water somewhere guys.
I had a bag full of bottles of water for myself.
I don't know where they're gone.
Myself and the staff.
Anyway, we go... I might put this... I might give it to Roy and the other DIYers as a template first.
But I'm going to put this cardboard one I think over Pontypool because it's less likely to get bashed about in Pontypool and then it won't start bringing in any donations or seed or don't worry if the dates are up because if the dates are up then either myself or the volunteers will be offered them and if they want to take them they can.
Or we'll offer it out as an out-to-date bundle.
Which you are allowed to do as long as you specify it's out-to-date.
But what we want to do is be able to do two to three bags of food for three a month there.
So if you just come in and deposit them.
We can... now they're very strict with the food hygiene bits and bobs.
So we have to know how you've kept the food before you bring it in.
So if you've bought it in a supermarket, kept it in your cupboards, stored in a cool dry place as required, not a problem.
But anything fresh wouldn't be able to go in there.
Okay?
This is specifically for dried foods, longevity foods in here.
And then if the volunteers can check it to make sure the tins are not all piled and dent in each other.
Or if they're not you know on top of like the long life, long lasting milk boxes and things like that.
You know so they're not going to perforate and not going to cause a problem because we have to preserve the food safely as well even though it's tin.
Same with the baby food.
And we won't give anything out that's out of date without my say so.
So I can go through it and I can say right you know we've got two two bags of food here to give out to a family but I got another bag of food by year then and these are the dates on them.
If anybody would like them they can come and have them.
If not myself and the volunteers will have them.
So yeah anything that goes in there.
I mean what's it got?
Cereal, soup, pasta, rice, tin tomatoes, pasta sauce, lentils and beans.
Nobody likes lentils and beans.
Tin meat, tin vegetables, tea and coffee, tinned fruit, biscuits, long lasting milk and fruit juice.
Fruit juice is a bit of a... probably they put fruit juice because it came from the nursery so they might have used the fruit juice in the nursery for their little ends.
But yeah bring in what you think.
It's not a problem and what the guys will do is if they're unsure or unsure of where you've kept it.
For example if you've kept it on a window sill in the sun chances are we probably have to dispose of that.
You know because tins and things need to be kept as per the instruction label.
So that we can say to health and safety then.
That is how it's been stored and it's safe to give out.
So yeah and what I might do is...
pretty one blue isn't it?
Blue or yellow.
Yeah see if we can use it as a template to put one up our bar good.
And one up... where's Debbie's basket gone?
We've got a basket off Debbie for the pet food bank.
We need to put the two of them together.
I'll take that one over to Pontypool because you can also donate pet food to Debbie as well.
So what we could do is put them side by side.
That'd look good wouldn't it?
Yeah so brilliant isn't it?
And then the DIYers can use it as a template and make it out of MDF so it's a bit more solid or pallet wood or whatever really.
But as long as people can get in there it's not too bad is it?
So yeah that's good.
I looked online to see if you could buy any like this but they don't do anything this size you know.
