So I'm going to try and do a live but I keep clicking off because obviously if people donate the stars now, like they do on TikTok, obviously we benefit then because that goes into our bank account or we can pay for things like advertising.
So I try and do the live but wherever it will stay on I don't know.
So I'm not sure if it will stay on.
So we've been crazy busy this morning.
Crazy busy.
We've just had a new contact for Antiques has come in which is fab.
Giving us some other contacts to contact.
We've had somebody in our learning difficulties that wants to volunteer.
So I've got to ring the support workers on Monday.
But we've also had a family that's come in from Ebbw Vale that's said a thank you.
And it isn't just thank you to us.
We are just the facilitators.
I'm the one with the bright ideas.
It's thank you to everybody who's involved in donating and volunteering and spreading the word for us and everything and helping other mothers.
So we've had a thank you off that family for all that we're doing.
And that's all of us.
And we know we're getting mothers from Bridge End.
We know we're getting mothers from Cumbrand coming here to do their shopping.
Because the charity shop prices are so expensive.
It works out cheaper to travel to us to actually buy stuff and support us.
Which we are very grateful for.
So I just wanted to relay that over because it's a pat on the back for everyone.
It's not just a pat on the back for us.
Because when I first started this, I thought I could do it all on my own.
And I was nuts if I thought I could do run all of this on my own.
Absolutely off my trolley.
And it took a lot for me to allow other people like volunteers and other people to come in.
But I realize how much we need our volunteers now.
So it's a pat on the back for everybody that is.
And I have told them to keep an eye out in Ebbw Vale.
I know Ebbw Vale who have been crying out for ages.
And we've had a good following in Ebbw Vale since we started.
And I am looking for premises daily everywhere to try and set these up.
And they're not for me to run.
The shops are for mothers to come in.
It's run by mothers for mothers.
It's run by families for families.
And it's run by people for people.
So I go off and open another one.
And that's the plan.
Every time we get one up and run in.
This is my fixer upper as you know.
This is my permanent building site.
But it's getting there slowly.
I say that every day.
So we're putting the books on now.
But we didn't measure the size of the books.
And none of us measures the size of the books.
But it's alright we'll have to put some flat.
But that's increased our space no end by then, haven't it?
I'm going to finish my painting.
We've had a load of rails today off a shop in Caerphilly.
I can't remember his name but I'll try and tag him.
Because he's given us a good deal on rails ready for the next shop.
Shops.
I got one that I want but it's not quite right for us at the moment.
But I have told the landlord what we need and I'm sure he will try and sort it out.
So yeah it's cold in this one this morning.
But then I haven't done any work.
So it could be that.
So thank you to our customers this morning.
We've had lovely customers in.
And the donations the lady brought in today.
She didn't realise we weren't taking donations here.
We'll take those over to Pontypool.
But there was a lovely hat in there.
Very nice for a wedding or ascot or anything if anybody's going.
I'll take it over to Pontypool because they've got room to store it without it getting crushed.
But it is a nice one to have a look at.
Nice pinky sort of creamy type one.
So well done guys.
Pat on the back.
