Yeah, we'll do downstairs.
I might paint on the floor.
I'm going to do that in Risca.
I wanted to paint a yellow brick road in Risca, but I'm wondering if it's going to get dirty with the people's feet.
But I thought if we got a yellow brick road going round, it'd be nice.
Like follow the yellow brick road?
Yeah, but floor paint you can wash.
Do you remember it?
That's obviously Wicked Land, isn't it?
Is it?
No.
Wizard of Oz.
That's the one.
Wizard of Oz.
Right, so there we are guys.
Empty rails.
Empty rails, knock it now again.
I was looking at the walls in the area.
I was thinking, no, there is quite a few walls.
It'll be alright though.
We'll do stripes and whatever.
I won't take that wallpaper down and leave it up.
So, I was talking to our volunteer manager and she was saying when it was a...
because obviously we've got to have the rails up.
When it was a pet shop, they used to have dogs and cats down here.
I didn't think you could sell them in the UK in a pet shop.
Anyway, they have stuff down here.
So we've got that to go on.
We've got that stay thing to go on.
Before the public can come down.
And then this rail will go there.
So we know we've got double rails everywhere then.
Because we know that's what the filly have asked for.
I've got to fill that then.
But that's alright.
We'll clean it all up and then get some newspaper and probably...
just a bit of plaster or filler.
I bought some cleaning stuff down for the girls tomorrow.
Clean that up.
Fill those holes.
Because we can still operate down here with holes.
But obviously they like them tidy.
So we'll do everything that we know.
Because we've already gone through it, haven't we, with the other shops.
So we know what carefully we expect.
So I'm assuming Torvain will expect the rest.
So yeah, dogs and cats save stuff down here.
Oh, I don't think that's right.
Right, anyway, we've got some rails down here.
So I said, come on then.
Because somebody's boyfriend, one of our volunteers' boyfriend, has offered to paint down here.
So I said, well, I'll buy the paint.
So we were just saying now, perhaps we could do like, hot scop, scotch, scotch.
Or something on the floor, you know.
So we've got two big rails.
I don't think... I did save six or eight big rails.
I don't know about that.
And we'll do the same as the dressers, because we'll put on these, open me, and then we can fill everything.
Do you see what I mean?
Fill everything with everything, because you know how much stuff we get.
There's the CCTV leads there, I think.
We've got to get the cameras up down here.
There's one camera, but I don't get enough.
So...
It's for safety as well.
We don't get a lot of theft, if I'm honest.
A lot of people know what we're doing, you know.
We had it in the beginning, didn't we?
People running off with stuff and all the rest of it.
But...
You know.
It would be nice to do a boutique, or maybe we can do a boutique in the back room.
But we just said, well, we've got the rails, let's get it down here.
The girls are going to clean down here.
The volunteer manager's already had it cleaned out in the cupboards.
And we'll just give them another wipe out tomorrow.
I can't walk tonight, but yeah.
A bit of junk there we missed.
Oh, look.
Something in there got off.
We'll get that out.
Oh, some shelf brackets.
Always need shelf brackets.
Oh, a wheeler.
Who's you off bet?
A wheeler.
We love a wheeler.
Let's see if we can get him out.
Oh, that's how you do it.
If people got big empty things to come in.
Or the old screens, boys.
A bit of junk in there, we'll get that out tomorrow.
And then, fan in there as well.
We use that, we use every bloody thing.
You know that, we need every inch.
This has got a bit of come up, but we've soaked this tonight now.
Let's see if we can get it up tomorrow.
Get all that crap off the walls.
But look at the beams in here.
Apparently, it used to be a hotel.
Oh, I love it when you get stupid reeds in here.
What if it's a railing lock?
Oh, you can't see it on the camera.
But there's a railing cross there without hanging it.
Oh, I can put some stuff there.
So, that'll be nice.
We've got a couple of chairs down here, you know.
Just in case anyone wants to sit.
Give it a good clean tomorrow.
Oh, I did have a bit of carpet, so perhaps we'll carpet that bit.
And then, go this as a secondary kitchen.
Or just clean it.
I've ordered some glow-in-the-dark fire exit signs.
Because I didn't realise we had one down there.
But that's alright, because I'll put one by there and one by there.
It all helps for me, you know.
Look at all the cobwebs down there.
Beams.
Look how big they are.
Proper oak.
Like, Jacobean colour, isn't it?
That's what they remind me of.
It's not Jacobean charm.
Nice little balustrade there.
What's under there?
I might have to send a camera under there.
Leave.
Ah, because we could hang some stuff there, couldn't we?
Kids' bags or something.
So yeah, it's a bit of work to do down here.
A bit of building.
But this room we can just crack on.
And paint this.
Get it up and running.
Get that thing out there.
It's full of copper wire there.
It's true.
I'm assuming they had that for either ventilation or damp or something.
I don't know.
But there's loads of copper wire in there.
So we'll cash that in for the last piece, you know.
Every penny counts.
So yeah, the guy said I might do the frog tape thing.
I said, oh yeah, do the frog tape thing.
I haven't got to be striped some more, have I?
Have I?
Yeah, so...
Luke came in earlier, said he'd give us an hand as well.
So this could just be a secondary kitchen, see.
And then he'd be like having money and money.
And then cast him a toilet.
So, oh god, I can't walk properly tonight.
Um...
Yeah, so it'll all be done then.
