So how are you guys?
We've been busy today.
So both shops now, we did have our weigh-in scales and we lost it in the process of going from this house to the shop.
So I don't know what's happened.
But I got another one for tomorrow.
It'll be Thursday now before you can weigh in in either of the shops, I would have said.
Weighing in is free.
We're doing it to promote healthy lifestyles without families having to pay memberships or slimming wheels, weight watchers, all the rest of them.
And being tied in.
We won't fat shame you when you come in.
And we'll probably keep two pages in each book for you.
You can use your name, you can use a nickname, we're not worried.
This is what they'll be kept in each shop.
These will be kept in the drawers.
And it'll just be mothers recording your weight down.
And they know how to do your BMI, because I showed them today.
And just letting you know.
You're welcome to screenshot your page.
When the book's full, you can rip out your page and take it anyway.
But what we can't do is pass the book over to you, just in case you recognise somebody's nickname or their first name, or whatever you want to put in there like.
But if you come in whenever, if you want to come in religiously every Tuesday morning and weigh, you're more than welcome to Tuesday afternoon.
But you can come and go as you please with a weigh in.
Just come up.
You can ask to go around the corner and weigh.
We're not worried.
And then we've obviously we've got a group then to post healthy living advice, healthy lifestyle advice, try and motivate people for free.
If you've done a good recipe or you've followed like a keto diet or something this week and you've lost nine pound and you want to post it on the page, you're more than welcome.
I need moderators for that page.
Because obviously we've got some funny buggers out there.
So I need moderators for every page.
But also I need moderators on this motivated to motivate other people to be fit and to encourage them to want to lose weight and be healthy, eat healthy, motivate people.
You know, we're not forcing anybody to do anything.
But obviously I want the moderators to be able to post on the page and say, you know, this is what we've done this week.
Or if you've gone to the gym yourself and you're being quite well motivated that week, then you can post it yourself and say, look, I've been to the gym.
I've smashed it this week.
This is what's motivated me.
This is what's kept my mental health in check this week.
More than welcome to do it.
And don't forget, we've got litter picking as well.
So if you wanted to incorporate that in a walking group and litter picking, you could do that because we will be covered on our insurance for it.
That's due now in March again.
I think I got to pay for that.
But there was a lot of options on our insurance.
That's why I picked policy B.
They were very good.
Lots of different things.
Community cafe, we're covered for quite a bit.
Trustees insurance, employees insurance.
We were quite sort of... it was a good one to have.
Become highly recommended from Mike, I think, in Swansea Way.
Down Swansea Way or... I can't remember what it's called.
I want to say Gibraltar, but it's not Gibraltar.
But I think people know what I mean.
So yeah, if you're having a particularly good week, post it yourself.
That's what the page is for.
The page is for you.
It's like the shops.
The shops are for you.
They run by mothers for mothers.
They don't run for me to make a profit.
They run by mothers for mothers.
We need volunteers down Risca in the morning because we've had a million donations and we can't go in the shop.
So no customers until the afternoon, otherwise you will be roped into volunteering.
Aberbargoed, welcome to volunteer up there.
They have got some jobs that need doing up there this week, like putting the number cubes on the hangers and things.
With the volunteering, you can come and go as you please.
We know people are busy.
We know people have got mental health problems.
We know people have got disabilities, can't stand, can't sit for too long.
So if you need to sit down and do things, then just tell us, you know, if that's what you've got to do.
So if you can only stay there for an hour and a half, you can only stay there for an hour and a half.
It's not a problem.
We can be as flexible for you as possible so that you can be involved and you, you know, because somewhere down the line, you're helping other mothers then as well.
So yes, the books are there.
So confidentiality wise, that's as far as it's going.
We're not using these results for research or anything like that.
It's literally to save mothers money and keep them motivated to be healthy.
That's all it's for.
It'll be kept in a drawer.
Once it's full, we can rip out your sheets and actually give you your sheets to take home and shred or keep.
It's entirely up to you.
Or we can say, you've got two weeks to pick up your sheets and then we're going to shred the book.
And then we'll just carry the last weight over, your original weight and your last weight over and just do it like that.
So if anybody got any problems with this, let me know.
But by next week, I would say this will be up and running.
Just come into any of the shops, just say, can I weigh in please?
It's totally free.
And yeah, any day of the week, any time of the week, we're not bothered.
We can be as flexible as you need us to be.
So yeah, thanks, guys.
