Right, so we've had some lovely pet food now off the Pet Food Bank Service from Derbs and Ruby from Cardiff to help out our families again.
You are only able to take the pet food if you are eligible for it, if your criteria is eligible.
So, last time I put it on, I had people contacting me saying, oh, I've got seven massive dogs, six bigger cats, and an ostrich.
You don't qualify because, you know, there's certain questions we need to ask you.
I'm not just going to feed your ostrich and your farm for the rest of it, you know, for free.
We're just not going to do it, sorry.
And then I had other people turning up as soon as the post went on saying, oh, I'll have this, this, this, and this.
I'm like, no, you won't.
Okay?
You are only entitled to the pet food banks to use the Pet Food Bank Service if you are eligible.
Now, this basket is a drop-off basket, so if anybody would like to donate towards Debbie's Charity, and she tends to pick it up once a month, once every fortnight, depending on how full it gets, we have already had quite a few donated in.
She picks it up, she takes it back to HQ, and then she records all the figures, the weights, and everything else, checks for any recalls, and then it gets distributed to all her outlets over South East Wales.
So, if you want to donate any pet food treats, anything, you're more than welcome to do that at this point.
We are a drop-off location, and we are a pick-up location, and Abba Bargaday's.
I'll try and get another basket for Abba Bargaday and some signage to go on the front.
We've got some, what they call, money containers, so that if you wanted to make a donation towards Debbie's Charity, I think they did last count with 62,000 pet meals they were on, that they've done in the last few years, helping out families.
So, yeah, it's worth having a look.
I'll link her website below.
It is a very good charity to support, if you're looking for a charity or a good cause to support.
So, if you're in need of a pet food bank, contact me directly, and if you want to donate, you can just drop it into any of the stores.
So, that's absolutely brilliant.
We've got more than that, but obviously we're splitting between the two shops now.
There's some already up there, which I think they've got a lot of dry kibble up the top shop.
We've got customers in today doing their sort of bank for £10.
So, I got quite a bit by year.
Got better shelving up there for now.
Roy is going to build us some shelving.
Got a trolley there, and some there to go out.
We've got ferret, we've got a couple of guinea pigs, where I think the guinea pig is past the date, but let me know if you're interested.
There's a couple of items I think that's past the date.
If not, even myself or one of the volunteers will have it.
Rather than it sat here waiting and going further out of date.
But yeah, this is to help families, so please don't come in and grab a bagful like this.
I think you can walk out with it because you can't.
You know, we would look at it and we would decide how many days of a food bank you need for your pet.
And we would go from there.
Okay, so it might be that you're only sorted in title to this amount.
Okay, but like again, that would be up to us to make that decision.
We know how it works, we work with Debbie quite a lot.
She's a good friend of ours, so if you're in need, contact me directly.
But don't send me a list of a managinary of animals that you've got.
And you will have to collect, guys.
We can't be dropping it off unfortunately, okay?
