I just done a blooming video, waffling on to myself.
And ugh, it didn't save.
I've got too much on my thing again now.
I've been busy today.
We have been busy in the shop.
Don't forget it's our half price.
We'll extend it until tomorrow because we've got lots of stock.
So I've had a clean up at this morning.
So that's good.
I've painted in here and it looks totally different.
I don't know if you can see it.
But it looks massive in here now.
Absolutely massive.
I need these sofas gone.
I've got this one up for £5 and I've got that one up for £20 because I've got a chair with it.
We've had loads of people in today.
We've had Natalie in.
Gwen's been down.
She's had her tidy up.
Jamie popped in.
She's one of our drop off points.
Me and Dan's been here.
And Helen popped down as well.
So yeah, look at it.
Doesn't it look different?
It looks massive.
And look at this.
Because now the girls can pick up the trolley.
The house clearance boys can put the Tesco crates on the trolley.
So they'll get like 6, 8.
8 may be too much for that trolley.
They can safely bring it down here.
Controlled.
Bring it in.
Bring it by ear.
Start sorting it.
Take out.
Right, that looks good for fundraising.
That looks like we can get a couple of quid for it.
That can go on the pound section.
And then all the other bits are £3 for a pound.
Just to tick over.
Because we make quite a lot of revenue on the £3 for a pound.
I've got the posh prams up there.
They're £300 each.
They were given for fundraising.
So everything will be £1.
If it's been hanging around for a while and hasn't sold, we'll pound it.
And all the rest will be £3 for a pound.
But it'll be easier to decant it.
Straight on to the racking now.
It's not the size racking we want.
This cost us £40.
I took it out of our money this week.
And obviously I got him to write a receipt.
Put it in our books as well.
So yeah, we've got tons of toys in.
That's why we've done half price.
Because I knew we were having tons of stock.
So... Oh, I dropped them.
So yeah, come on guys.
Because that's why we did the half price.
We're going to have tons in.
I'll pick them up now in a minute.
We've got tons of... Natalie's been putting this up today as we've been selling the designer stuff.
She's been putting more up.
Tons of toys.
Thank you for that basket.
Whoever sent it in.
Tons of baby clothes.
So I need someone to come in now and help me iron them.
So we can just put them... Because they've been transported quite a bit now and put in the boxes.
It would be nice to have them a little bit flatter and tidier.
Don't forget to keep your photocopying boxes with lids for me please.
So Gwen came in and had it tidy up up here.
And then I came up here and moved to Pram and knocked it all over.
As I do like, you know.
So it's a lot wider up here.
She's had a good clean up this morning.
Thank you Gwen for that.
Good sweep up as well.
She's done.
So you can get around this area a bit more freely.
We're starting to take stuff off the table now.
What can we get a pound for?
Right, put that on the pound shelf.
Because these tables take up a lot of room.
So we'll have a go.
We're still quite cluttered here.
But that one can go on the racking now look.
And three for a pound.
We could do more racking but it's just getting into it is.
I've got somebody else pricing some up now on Marketplace.
But there we are in there.
So we'll get there.
These, you know, it'll be a lot easier once these trays are gone.
£5.250 today we're on half price.
So we could, if we sort these trays out we can actually stack two.
So we can actually get another four on there.
Yeah and that one tray is half empty.
So they need to be decanted properly now and tidied a little bit.
But yeah, I think that'll be good for us.
I think when we get a place next, I think we'll take into consideration we need to spend at least £1,000 on racking before we get in there.
Because a lot of our shelves and things are free, you know that.
But the racking, I think every shop that we go into, we're going to need at least say £500 deposit.
They usually like a month up front so it's £500 a gain.
But we will, where's my jump tie?
Oh there it is.
We will say we need to have at least £2,000 to open the shop to get racking.
Because I think that's what we're going to need.
And then the house clearance boys can work with us the best they can, they said.
So we can say to Caerphilly store has got some room, drop some stuff off there.
I have a bargain, I'll never have any room.
Risca is a bit low or Caerphilly has got room for some furniture items so they know where they're dropping it then.
We're going to work on this bit today, the leak has nearly cleared up there.
So we're going to take that wood down and see what we're dealing with there.
I think it's an RSJ in there.
We'll find out what's going on here.
Because that's been up there 30 years.
And obviously there is water damage.
I don't know if they put loft insulation in there or something.
But we'll have a look at it.
And there's some bricks at the back so I'll try and brick that up as well this week.
But we didn't want to take it down before because the leak was worse.
Every time they fix the roof it moves down a bit.
We appreciate that it's a 30 year old plus roof.
We know that.
That's why we're paying so little for the rent.
We're very lucky with the rent.
But we'll work on this bit of mess by year this week now.
Because there's less water coming through so we don't have to worry about it.
So we're going to be taking the door off there.
But we're going to leave the door on because we're going to see if we can fix the toilet door first by cleaning it.
If not, we'll take that off.
But if you know anything about carpentry, you don't go taking doors off and stacking them anywhere.
You leave them where they are so they shut properly.
So then it'll be like an in and out there.
It'll be nice.
And I've got my sign to go up there.
I'll open my dinners here now.
So I'll sign off now guys.
I don't know how you do it now.
Hang on.
